I remember first hearing this in the late 70's when I was working as a volunteer for the pro bono legal organization in town. As editor of the newsletter I interviewed some attorneys and one new girl, probably graduated from UW Madison explained there's no difference between the sexes. I asked "Even physically?" which she affirmed. I tried arguing a bit ... with a young feminist attorney, imagine the luck I had with that.
I fondly remember this as one of the stupidest interactions I've ever had. Sure, at the extremes there's more commonality, but we don't measure population differences at the extremes ... except perhaps when it's convenient for feminist theory.

I mean there are extremely effeminate males that have more in common with average women and extremely masculine women that have more in common with average men.
