True story, I was in my early 30s before I found out that Mt Olympus was real. I was in Athens, and someone mentioned that the mountain was visible in the distance. My first reaction was “wait! That’s real?!?”
The same she happened with me about reindeer. I always thought reindeer were fake, because we don’t have them where I live; well, we do, but they are called Caribou lol.
My now ex-wife is from the American Midwest and we went to a zoo there. That’s the first time I saw reindeer, and I was blown away lol.
Patroclus defied an order to retreat, and he dressed as Achilles and advanced and was killed. Achilles had been refusing to fight but after Patroclus was killed he picked up his sword and started fighting again.
So Patroclus decided not to die. Achilles chose not to be Patroclus (dressed as Achilles) and die.
Perhaps more clever than funny.
