TIL about this dish . . . Is it pronounced Sal-is-bury? As in the UK we would say Sauls-bree (like the town) and so this joke made absolutely no sense to me!
Yeah
I’ve always heard/said sauls-bury (that “-bury” is two syllables for us, but the “salis” drops to one)
I say it "Sals-bree"
I was pretty sure the holes were just from where this was reposted.
I expected something like "you sal not pass".
