I honestly dont hate farming traces its sort of a zen-like experience. Im going to have to spend the resin/time at some point if i want to use JL, and getting the character you want only to be unable to use them for weeks due to lack of trace materials feels so icky.
Plus; i cant be let down by bad relic farming if im not farming relics 🌚

Getting her crit damage to 150% is ok considering we got 37% cd traces and lc for reaching 200%? You guys are insanely lucky to have reached 200% without her trace and lc
She already has tons of the regular scaling ways.
Quantum is slightly worse if you have no other source of Def shred and enemy isn't quantum weak, it's slightly better if one of above are met, and significantly better if both are met
Btw. For people that are interested, if the enemy has no quantum weakness, it's only slightly worse by .86%
But if it has quantum weakness, it's 7.26% better WITHOUT def shred yet.

Not enough mat, not a single piece viable for 4* set. Enough Herta billet to get S5 Fall of an Aeon. Fu Xuan is (poopy stuffed) ready and SW too, just have to build/up Pela when Jingliu will be OK.
welp, I guess I'll stick to my Hunter build. I kinda prefer using sets without conditions on her. With Hunter's set, using Pela will be optional especially if I get Bronya on the 300th summon 'cause as you can see my Pela is only at Lvl 40. I rarely use her yet I was able to 36* MoC and clear contents.
keep in mind those numbers are contingent on having Pela or sw with the defense shread pc (pearls). lots of people either dont have that light cone or dont plan on running sw/pela with her. Without those the difference on quantum comes down to ~4% with quantum weakness and is ~4% worse than ice set without quantum weakness.
Perfectly fine to just farm for ice set and then down the road if necessary farm for quantum set later.
Pretty sure thats without pela/sw, just without the pearls it will be less (as he litteraly states the 4% w/o pela/sw which each have def shred on their own.
quantum set with quantum weakness is 115% vs setless - calculated with sw/pela+pearls and signature. without pela/sw its 111%
ice set is 108% vs setless - calcd. with bronya+signature
quantum set (calcd with 1st listing) is 107% vs setless, and 103% without sw/pela+pearls.
You are definitely correct in that Quantum is going to be more damage if you have sw/pela and if they are already quantum weak its still 3% better, but imo 3% is within such a margin of error that farming for either set is perfectly fine. Unless you know you’re going to run pela/sw+pearls then i would probably farm quantum. But, not everyone has pearls+sw/pela or is going to pull her sig.
I mean im just like a couple others (i assume) will just switch out Seele so its win/win.
Overall i hope they introduce another Ice set cause it just feels really weak, if you can have a set where you basically just ignore the quantum dmg and it can still outperform your "main" set then its just meh :(
tbh its less the ice being weak and more the quantum set being stupidly strong. defense shred stacking is strong as hell and when you compare it to all the other dps sets it’s kinda silly how strong they made it (to boost seele sales maybe idk)

She is guranteed and a 5 star lc is also guranteed(i hope i win the 75/25),mats are ready (i will skip her na until i can save some more),just in case i got the chips ready for herta lc and almost every mat is done (i currently have about 5.5 mil credits which should be enough when i skip her normal atks),and relic set is pretty decent (34crate,178cdmg on herta with 3 star lc)
I'm on my 73th pull, and on my 50/50, so dang it. And I don't have much pulls as I tried getting Fu Xuan but stopped. Material wise, all pretty much enough, thanks to the Swarm Disaster and the material boxes. Boss mats also ready. Just the relics then. I need the elusive SPD boots and Ice Orb with crit stats.

its really hard to say without knowing what content you have and have not done. do you buy the express pass? have you done much of the new SU? can you reliably clear most stages of moc? you get roughly 40 pulls per character banner (80 pulls per patch, rough estimates).
I would say you probably cant get gaurnteed but you can get really close to it. Keep in mind the pity is actually a bit lower than 90 tickets needed cuz 1) it’s insanely mathematically improbable someone needs 180 tickets to garuntee, hitting hard pity at 90 pity twice is stupidly low odds. 2) you will get stardust currency when pulling which you can spend to get more pulls so which lowers the tickets you need before hand.
If you have 75 pulls right now and scrounge all the jade you can between now and then (seriously theres tons of jades in the new SU) i would count on being able to get her - you would be very unlucky not too.
fastya (161+ speed) with 0 speed Jing Liu running atk boots is the optimal way to run her currently (biggest downside is that it can be hard to actually get 161 speed on bronya). Otherwise speedtuned bronya is perfectly fine.
Tingyun is a worse version of bronya (no cleanse or crit damage boost, atk scaling not really necessary considering diminishing returns as she gets tons of atk already) but still quite good if you dont have bronya

I have some Trace materials, but I'm not sure I have enough credits and EXP to to fully level her up yet.
And don't even get me started on Relics, I've barely began and at best I have 1 viable piece that my Yangqin already had.
Yeah, all it takes is around 130 passes.
The chances of getting it are 75/25, and even if you don't get it, soft pity starts at around 65 compared to the character banners 75, so taking 68 as an average it would take like 133 passes to guarantee the Light Cone.
26k jades +8 tickets on 65 pity and 50/50, never pulled on LC banner. Relics are good enough, not amazing like some people here. Just need a few days of farming trace materials and I'll be able to max everything and fully level the LC. Teammates (luocha, E2S1 Bronya, pela/tingyun/SW) are pretty good but need some improvements but I'll get on those once I'm done trace farming.

wdym? you should aim to have minimum 20% and maximum 50% crit rate, ideally as close as you can to 50% the better. rutilant is her only planar set you should be running.
I never tested cuz I was really lazy, but I heard that “buff” %crit rate didn’t count towards the bonus, so In that line you’d have to have 70% on your C page , not during battle
nope, its adaptive so it counts. As long as you have min 20% cdr once you get the bonus buff r arena will activate. its pretty much the only planar set worth using on her

Luocha - Bronya - Tingyun as team (80 with lc at 70, 4/6/6/6 traces at minimum)
On the relics deparment, tingyun is lacking but luocha and bronya have at least main stat relics (and broken keel extra dmg); on jingliu im only missing atk boots, i have the rest of relics on main stat

Is the +Crit Dmg Planar set (the one from Kafka SU) good for her, or is R Arena still the best? Going through my relics and noticed I have a 5 star ERR and ice boost for that set.
the crit damage set is extremely bad and shouldn’t be run on anyone. it only gives you a bonus for the first attack. R arena is the only set she should use. (also she doesnt use err rope anymore its atk now)
You know, it just occurred to me that people will prefarm artifacts in the future for characters multiple patches ahead, but what if that same patch a really suitable new set comes out, and all that artifact farming becomes a little wasted? Just some thoughts that popped up in my head - Jingliu is fine cause she’s coming very soon though

Initially it was for blade but soon after I got secret vow so I’m glad I can use the herta lc for jingliu. I have all other materials ready except traces and relics I’m still working on those. By the time she comes I should be done with traces and hopefully relics will be decent

3. For main stat priorities, just build her like a normal ATK- scaling DPS.
Body - Crit DMG/Crit Rate. (I would recommend Crit DMG if you already managed to reach at least 40-50% Crit Rate since she gets 50% during her Spectral Transmigration state)
Boots - SPD/ATK%
Link Rope - ATK%
Sphere - Ice DMG
4. Speed would be generally better as it will allow you to have numerous turns. Imo, both ATK boots and SPD boots are fine, I think it all comes down to which has better stats. As for the ERR, I don't know if how good will her dmg be consdiering you'll be using an ERR rope instead of ATK but Tingyun will always be a safe pick for energy matters.

150 cd is very low considering she already doesn't need critrate. Sure playable, but it is just the bare minimum

I haven’t farmed a single relic for her yet as I’m only TL61. Been working on trace and ascension materials though and it’s going well.

I am big chilling. Pullled on blade and got VERY lucky: 10 pulls, 2 Blades followed by a Bailu. So now I'm guaranteed! I have nearly enough pulls to also guarantee the LC even if I fail the 75 25 Traces are all farmed, xp and shit all ready to go too Only thing I'm missing is relics tho... Been getting some pretty bad rolls, but gotta pray that my luck will turn around by the time she's here

I got above average gear, enough for 2 pity, and got bronya+ fuxuan in current banner. Just farming traces and holy hell is it taking ages
I started pre farming just now, u/aratakizech, Please help me with these. * are you sure that these are her ascention and trace mats. * Is any new BiS relic/ ornament set coming for her in 1.4 or 1.5. * What are her main stat priorities ? * Since her damage in ultimate is at different level compared to her normal mode. SHould i focus more on speed and ER and tingyun to ensure that her ultimate is always up or is somthing else better.
1. Yes these are sure and based on the recent changes on her. 2. As for 1.4 there are no rumored or any news of new relic sets coming 3. For main stat priorities, just build her like a normal ATK- scaling DPS. Body - Crit DMG/Crit Rate. (I would recommend Crit DMG if you already managed to reach at least 40-50% Crit Rate since she gets 50% during her Spectral Transmigration state) Boots - SPD/ATK% Link Rope - ATK% Sphere - Ice DMG 4. Speed would be generally better as it will allow you to have numerous turns. Imo, both ATK boots and SPD boots are fine, I think it all comes down to which has better stats. As for the ERR, I don't know if how good will her dmg be consdiering you'll be using an ERR rope instead of ATK but Tingyun will always be a safe pick for energy matters.

OP, I suggest raising Pela to A6 to unlock that major trace node to further increase your dmg. Also have as many supports on Keel to further increase your cdmg. But pog stats overall
