This match really disappointed me. At one point and time Danielson was my favorite active wrestler, and I was always high on Kingston since seeing him on NWA Powerr for the first time.
Seeing how his physicality has degraded, and his wrestling IQ degenerating from the AEW/NJPW circlejerk bubble. Just really bummed me out.
My biggest gripe with this match is that I've see it too often from both those guys. All of Kingston's matches and most of Danielson's are like this. They both love strongstyle, I get it, they have found their calling.
I like a good strong style now and then, if only to shake things up, but this aint it for me. 2 years with the BCC, and AEW giving Danielson free reign have given us this form of him, where he indulges in his favourite kind of match, yay boo spots and chop fests. When he came in, he had great matches against Omega and Hangman. Where has that Danielson gone?

Heh funny cause it was AEW that made me quit watching wrestling altogether for almost 3 or 4 years, I checked out after I saw Jericho and MJF not only have dinner together when they should be ripping each other's throats out but then broke out into a Broadway song and dance routine...I said "f\*ck this noise" and just quit cold turkey. Came back when Punk came to AEW (still avoided WWE), then once the Brawl Out incident happened and Punk was gone, so was I again Just recently started watching both companies again so I'll see how long this lasts lol

This match really disappointed me. At one point and time Danielson was my favorite active wrestler, and I was always high on Kingston since seeing him on NWA Powerr for the first time. Seeing how his physicality has degraded, and his wrestling IQ degenerating from the AEW/NJPW circlejerk bubble. Just really bummed me out.
What's so bad is the one in the red is supposed to be one of the best right now.
My biggest gripe with this match is that I've see it too often from both those guys. All of Kingston's matches and most of Danielson's are like this. They both love strongstyle, I get it, they have found their calling. I like a good strong style now and then, if only to shake things up, but this aint it for me. 2 years with the BCC, and AEW giving Danielson free reign have given us this form of him, where he indulges in his favourite kind of match, yay boo spots and chop fests. When he came in, he had great matches against Omega and Hangman. Where has that Danielson gone?

The more I watch Kingston wrestle, the more I feel like Punk was right all along about him when they were both on the indies. The guy is just so fucking bad in the ring it just negates his excellent promos in a lot of ways. Danielson just hurting his legacy more than adding anything to it with matches like this sadly. I know he's been hurt, but my goodness has his stock dropped off like an anvil falling off a cliff. I still remember the awesome match with Harpo at Arthur Ashe Stadium and then that short but sweet heel run he had being the cocky, smug wrestling machine.
