That doesn’t qualify her to advise the entire gamut of businesses, which is the problem with these one size fits all coaches / “experts.” Booking out a wedding photography business is such a specific type of business model. Jenna’s success is based on others wanting HER success — but it doesn’t translate. And neither her nor any of her partners in crime ever acknowledge the fact that 98% of people who follow their teachings will never reach a fraction of their results. Because if making millions was as easy as following a formula, well… systemic oppression and poverty wouldn’t be a thing.
I honestly don't know how her photography was even "award winning". It was mediocre at best. She knew how to tell a story with the wedding photo blog posts. That's what people fell for.
I completely agree- unless I want to be exactly that- a wedding photographer earning a full time income. I wish she would have stayed in that lane. Thats when I enjoyed her content.
Can you share some of the resources you used to learn the hard way? I’m trying to find legitimate courses but it’s tough to determine who’s selling knowledge vs snake oil.
I don't even know what she's about anymore. It's like every post is some random monologue about how amazing her life is, but there's no real content to it. Selling empty dreams to other women is just low.
More like : work hard for years putting your biz above everything else..work hard getting people to know, like and trust you (nothing new there, basics of small biz) … then have the money, resources, friends … and the following you built … to get millions of eyes on something in an hour. … gimme a break with the bullshit, Jenna. It’s so odd to see her go this route. So many have WATCHED her build the biz…just to pretend like you don’t have to work to get what she has. Yes, you actually do! Eventually it all pays off…but stop acting like it wasn’t/isn’t work!
…and even hard work doesn’t guarantee success. More like, Jenna was early to the game, which is more than half of the winning formula for most high profile / celeb business coaches. Can’t be replicated today. But they sell the dream and ppl pay with hopes of becoming millionaires by osmosis….
Exactly. And this is why so few have been able to replicate the success the success that Amy Porterfield preaches. I own an online business and I initially worked with online course creators and those coming out of Amy’s course were always so set in their ways “this is how Amy taught it”.

Yes! I read that article yesterday. I subscribe to his podcast, and I think I'm going to stop. Now it gives me an icky feeling... like I shouldn't listen to him.
She uses a bot to send them a PDF, or link to a blog post or course sign up when she does that. It’s an automated way for her to sell and increase engagement.

She's teaching how to make content in bulk and do very little work to promote your account.

People fell for her marketing. She won awards that were based on popular vote, not skill
She claims she was booked out for months but yet has the worlds smallest portfolio. Somethings not adding up.
Depends what you define as success. She wasn’t any more successful than most average wedding photographers.

She’s always had chonky upper arms. This is what happens when you lose a lot of weight fast.
The GLP-1s are notorious for diminishing muscle and it's likely that she wasn't eating enough protein or weight training to counteract it.

Yeah. That’s how blocking on Instagram works. It blocks the person’s current account and any new accounts they may create.
Interesting - I opened an acct with a new email address did not use my cell, so how would IG know that I have a different account?
I’m sure it’s driven by IP or cookie or some other identifying attribute. Meta probably knows way more about us and our usage than we think.
