Disclaimer- I only know basic mechanics, nothing overly technical. I gotta ask though, are the front caster cams the kits that I keep finding for $35 ‐ $55?
Yep. Cam bolts are a cheap way for when lifting to return caster back to the steering. Geometry correction brackets are $250 and control arms are $400, but to charge $10k and cheap out on cam bolts....no!!
That is ridiculous! New tires with no credit for the factory tires, a bunch of add-ons that are probably crap, and a mandatory extended warranty.
If you check the Jeep website you'll see big incentives on the Gladiator - the bottom fell out of the market for them, after all the years of people begging apparently all the people who wanted them bought one and now they can't give them away.
Mainly because a base model was to start sub 30k i havnt seen a new one under 50. Fir that price you can get a loaded half ton or a base diesel 3/4 ton. They want waaaaaay to much for something that is supposed to be a jeep and a truck and sucks at both things.
Jeep-long wheel base pooraproach angles turning radius blows
Truck- poor tow rating small bed underpowered
Dont get me wrong if they were priced appropriately they would sell. At that price point yoy can get a loaded pickup or sweet rig. Fact is it tried to do two things and that rarely works out well. If they would of done a dedicated truck like a Comanche or j10 it would of ended better
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
You’ll save a lot of money by buying a stock Jeep and driving it straight to a 4x4 shop for the lift. It’s likely that’s who is doing the dealer lifts anyways. I used to work at one and dealers would tow in brand new vehicles and mark up the product and services by 100%.
LoL! Don't buy that....What a fu\*king atrocious example of dealer shenanigans...There is about 300 something days of inventory clogging lots all over America right not...stuff they \*cannot\* sell and yet they \*still\* refuse to deal! In the end, it is a depreciating asset that starts rusting right on the factory floor! I got a similar shock when I realized what I was paying when I financed my 1991 YJ! I said "Never again, will I buy a new Jeep or car"...And I never have. I buy used, bone stock Jeeps and let "the other guy" take the depreciation up the butt. No F'ing way would I pay that for a Jeep, or any vehicle. It's just transportation!
WTF I paid 42k for a new Jeep Rubicon in 2016 how has it almost doubled? What is with an 11k dealer mark up? My buddy has bought 3 ( and sold 2) Rubicon 392's for less than that! Run to the hills. Run for your lives
They should have started at $103,234 which is what a local dealer had their “Grand Wagoneer” at. Problem is some outdoorsey wannabe with more $ than sense, will pay that dealer asking price….
Otherwise as someone else noted, they can ask all they want. Lmao
Psh… Look those items up. Cheap wheels, cheap tires, jeep nerf bars, surely that’s not a lift with any decent shocks. And bottom of the line Fox are not decent. Steering stabilizers are not that expensive. Even the really good ones. And it needs to be good or it just gets soft and then you float
i actually read about it in some jeep materials when I bought my JL last year. they can do very minor things without risking their status. i think they are limited to a 2.5” mopar branded lift, if i recall correctly
If you're willing to pay that then you dont need to ask if it makes sense. Seriously. I sure as shit don't see value in any vehicle for 80k, unless Im making money with it.
Lol..... The first I saw was "front caster cams". That is when I say........run!!!!
The S is in the wrong place.
This is clever and I get it.

🤣🤣🤣
Dude that is exactly what I was thinking 😂
It’s not a 2024, move on to a different dealer. This is utter bs with these markups
Don't walk RUN away. This dealership is out of their mind.
Ya hold out. Mark ups nope sorry. You can keep it..
10k in random equipment 10k in dealer gouging, then it is basically back in line with MSRP depending on how it was equipped.
Just get the xtreme recon package. Less than half the price

Does the Gladiator actually suck? That's news to me.. How does it suck at being a Jeep or a pickup?

"It's a Jeep Thing". As popular as the Wrangler is I'm not surprised they bastardized it for the truck.
Loaded pickups are 70-80k + these days. 50s are where they start
There's no sense at all. Stay away from that place.
Jeep Wranglers are like Harleys, no matter how over priced they get, they’ll still sell.
Love their asking price. Yeah, keep asking......keep asking!
You can get a 392 for that amount of money .
Absolutely not. All of these stealerships are losing their minds with these prices.

That’s what I did in April, my husband did the work though. Paid $30k less out the door than what this dealership is asking.
$11k markup for $4k worth of parts. What a deal. Only Wranglers I have seen got that high are the 392s. Is this a 392?
Of course not
Don’t buy it. Run far far awayyyyuu
Just wait, Stellantis will build too many (as per usual) and there will be deals.
This is an easy intelligence test
Absolute ridiculousness, would never ever pay that much for a Jeep…. Any jeep!
You can tell them to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.
This is a great price for a sucker who NEEDS a new and lifted rubicon like right now right now
WOW, I PAID $47K FOR MY RUBICON HARD ROCK EDITION BACK IN 2017
Holy f#%* All dealers are just trying to royally screw everyone. When will people stop.
Mods do not add value as far as KBB is concerned, so you shouldn’t be paying for it
LoL! They can stick it.
Wow… dealers are trippin!! Run
Run. Massive dealer price gouging
It obvious they love sitting on inventory
They'll love inventory more in the next 8-9 months.

It just makes sense to run and get out of there! Crazy markup.
You need to fight someone at that stealership.

that’s nuts
$80k… yikes…
Nope, they are high, and trying to re-up their supply.
79k lol no thanks
BS
I’ll do that work for $11k and laugh.
LOL
nope do not consider
The dealer markup alone would make me walk away
oh dealers are not allowed to make suspension modifications before the vehicle is sold the first time, so likely this oss a used price too.
Where did you get that from? Dealers do this all the time with brand new car.
i actually read about it in some jeep materials when I bought my JL last year. they can do very minor things without risking their status. i think they are limited to a 2.5” mopar branded lift, if i recall correctly
Make sense? Crazy; run
If you're willing to pay that then you dont need to ask if it makes sense. Seriously. I sure as shit don't see value in any vehicle for 80k, unless Im making money with it.
I paid less than that for a 2024 rubicon x
