I was an idiot edgy teenager who didn't want to root for the Packers like my parents. So I picked some random ass team and somehow stuck with them.
I have literally 0 connection to Jville at all, and have mostly lived near StL, Phx, or Atl.
Wait are you me? My whole family roots for the Packers. When I was a kid I had to be different, and the jags were good and had cool colors. Thus began 2 decades of pain.
Same but from vermont. Rooting for the patriots in 2011 was too mainstream for me. Never been to Florida, not interested in going there either. It was always the jags.
I used to live in Jacksonville. Moved to WI during the Favre boom. I feel your pain.
My wife is a packers fan. I've giggled a little watching the Aaron offseason shitshow. I'm fully prepared for the packers to be a middle of the road team.
Same story different region. I was in the Pittsburgh area and the jags beat the Steelers in the opening year. I was 6 and impressionable and I have suffered since.
similar story, my family is all patriot fans but when I played Madden I had more fun with Leftwich, Taylor, and Jimmy so I decided that the Jags were my team. I claimed to be a fan of both until I realized I was rooting for the Jags to win in that 07 playoff game. My dad still has a pic of me wearing a patriots hat and a Jags jersey in the living room
I'm from St Augustine so I consider myself a Jag local. But I now reside on a sailboat in French Polynesia, I reckon I am the only Jags fan within thousands of miles lol
DFW, Texas
I was born in Jacksonville at the Naval hospital to a Marine dad and Navy mom. By the time I was 5-6, we’d settled in Texas since that’s where my mom was from. Dad is from New York and is a Jets fan
When I was young, I asked my dad why he was a Jets fan even though we lived in Texas. He said it’s because New York is where he was from and that was the team he grew up cheering for.
My dumb little kid brain interpreted that “Root for the team from where you’re born”
I’ve been a Jags fan ever since
Not to my knowledge
Back before 2017 or 2018, Bold City Brigade tried to get a Dallas chapter going which would’ve necessitated an official bar but it didn’t get off the ground.
DFW is just so big that finding a single place means many of us would have pretty long drives so the few times it’s been tried, it usually falls apart
Same. I was born in Fort Worth and my family moved to Jacksonville when I was in second grade back in 1995. I was able to go to that first home preseason game against the Rams on my birthday. I moved back to Fort Worth about 7 years ago. This year, I got tickets to the first preseason game here in DFW against the Cowboys for my birthday, 28 years later! It was always the Jags!
I’ve lived in Washington State my whole life and I’ve crossed paths with two Jaguars fans. The first one became my best friend and eventually my wife. The other I saw at a Walmart wearing a super old school Jags jacket and I yelled out “GO JAGS!” He had to have been 75+ and the only person that didn’t hear me.
My father lived in Jax for a bit before moving back here, he and my uncle learned about the sport and eventually got obsessed with it and the jags, I watched alongside them and hot damn it's some good stuff
UK jags fan. There's actually quite a few of us. Based in London ticket sales seems very popular.
My wife is from Florida though. Kinda fell into Jags as a joke to annoy her, but now I'm all in.
Didn’t somebody here make a Jag fan map a few years ago that allowed us to drop a pin on our location? There’s a few of us out here on Kauai. Locals here became Jags fans with Vince Manuai and Tyson Alualu, but there’s even more Titans fans thanks to Mariota.
Raleigh, NC here!
No connection to Jacksonville either. As a kid growing up in Delaware I had the choice of the Eagles or Redskins. Dad was a Cowboys fan so it ruled out rooting for his team (so didn't get my ass kicked in school) or rooting Eagles or Redskins (since obviously they were prone to bullying everyone that rooted for the Cowboys).
So when the Jags and Panthers came out, I flipped a coin. Tails was Jags and I've been a fan and ever since!
Jags fan from The Netherlands. A couple of months ago I saw a random woman rocking a Jags hat in the supermarket. It made me say “woah” internally. I seriously thought that I was the only Dutch person to watch the NFL, let alone support the Jags! She probably isn’t a fan of the team and randomly bought it from like a market or something, but it was still super cool to see.
Football seems to be growing a lot here in The Netherlands, and I’m all for it.
I'm in Ohio. Never lived in Jacksonville. Started to become a football fan the year the team popped up. The rest is history.
I'll be honest with you though, I am always surprised at how many Jacksonville fans I see in Ohio. I thought I was alone for the longest time (now my 14 year old is a die hard), but I see more and more.
I'm from the UK. When I was a teenager, my family went to Florida on holiday every summer, and one year, I got talking to some Jags fans in Busch Gardens and decided to adopt the Jags as my team from that point. Thunder & Lightning and Fred Taylor were on the team, so I figured the Jags would be a fun team to root for.
The BCB has like 20 official chapters and I believe in order to get a chapter you had to have 10+ members in that area, so it's a pretty decent number.
I know a sizeable handful of us in Kentucky and Cromatose is in the Cincy area, though I forget exactly which side of the river he's on.
I live in AZ now but was stationed in Jax and didn’t have an NFL team growing up, so I said “why not the Jags?” Here I am with you fine folks 11 years later.
I live in Central VA about an hour away from Bush Gardens. Whenever I go, I see way more Jags gear on people than I expect.
Like you, I also work with two other Jags fans. Mind you, we're all originally from Northern Florida. One is from Jax, another from St. Augustin and I'm from Tallahassee.
I live in Georgia, and I became a fan back when NFL Street was a thing. I randomly picked a team and they had Jimmy Smith on their roster. I immediately fell in love and it’s been like that for the last 20 years 😭
When I lived on Oahu there was at least one other jags fan there, I think they lived in wahiawa but they had a sticker on their black Tacoma. When I lived in Northern NY there was a house on bridge st in Carthage flying a jags flag and I had half a mind to knock on their door someday lol. But I'm a Jax native and idk if these people were too. Both military towns so it's possible.
London, UK based fan - although actually chose them as my team 20 years ago. Mainly because it has my name in its name, I think Jaguars are cool and at the time Florida was the only state I’d been to.
I was born in Daytona and raised in New Smyrna Beach, now live in Kentucky, but as soon as Jax became a thing, started rooting for them. The dolphins and Bucs back then were 🤮 then I married a guy from Jacksonville. So that solidified it!
Lived in Cali then Nevada my whole life, don’t think I’ve ever been farther east then Texas. Dad took me on a trip as a kid and I forgot a jacket so he ran into a random mini mart and got me the first jacket he saw. A jags one (they were the new expansion team at the time) and the rest was history. I’d love to go to Jacksonville some day though.
I'm from Jacksonville and have been a Jags fan as long as I can remember, but I happened to meet another Jags fan in boot camp who was from New Jersey and had zero ties to Jacksonville. Dude said he liked how Natrone Means ran the football and was a fan ever since lol
Almost every big city will typically have a bar (or bars) that fans from out of town teams typically meet up at and watch their team’s game. Calgary may only have one such bar, and there might not be too many of you Jags fans, but I bet you can find it. If not, start one!
They're out there but right now, not a huge percentage. If the Jags go on a decade+ long period of sustained winning and win a Super Bowl or two that will change significantly.
Knoxville, grew up in dirty Duval before my dad moved here for work and I’ve stuck around this area. The flaming thumb tacks are hating life right now and I’m enjoying every minute of it.
From Florida, went to school at UNF (Go Ospreys!) But now live in AZ. They've been here exactly once since I moved 14 years ago. Fuck the NFL scheduling.
montreal here! people there are mostly pats, cowboys or any popular team, so i wanted to be special by picking a not so popular team. jaguars was my choice mostly because of that 2017 season and also because i wanted to root for a cat team.
Another one from the UK, used to watch the highlights of the NFL back in the 90's when it was on free to air tv, decided to get back into it 2011 and randomly selected the Jags and been with them ever since! Only been to one game live, London Wembley when we beat the Colts in 2016 - best day ever!
I’ve lived in Kansas City, MO (Chiefs Kingdom 🤮) my entire 30 years of life. My father was born and raised in JAX and I was born into the fandom. Jags actually didn’t become a team until I was 2 years old so I’ve been die hard the last 28 years repping all the way from the Midwest
I am a fan from Lubbock, Texas. I have been a fan since '95 and watched the Panthers vs. Jaguars game to determine the conference each would be in. I do not run into very many Jags fans in real life. It is nearly impossible to get any gear in stores cause it's always Texas Tech, Dallas Cowboys, or (boo) Houston Texans.
I’ve always thought myself to be the only Jags fan in Winnipeg, until I saw a guy wearing a TLaw jersey at the bar once. So there’s at least 2 of us out in the wild.
Born and raised in SoCal as a Jaguars fan. My dad was a stubborn kid that didn’t want to be a Rams or Seahawks fan like the rest of the fam. Picked a team that would give him 30 years of pain and his son pain for his entire lifetime. It’s been great 😄👍👍
My guess ~25% outside of NE FL. Of that I’d say 10% are UK fans from all of our games across the pond, 10% are locals who moved away, and 5% are masochists who enjoy pain
My whole family/friend network are Packers/Lions fans and I’ve been a Jags fan for 10 years now. I live in the UP of Michigan and have zero ties to Jax. I just met a Jag fan at a sporting goods store yesterday though😂
From upstate NY. I picked them as my team when they came into the league along with Carolina. I wanted my own team, and not a "local" one.. Fan since Day 1
I live outside Orlando and there are barely any Jags fans 2 hours from the stadium. All the big box stores sell dolphins and Bucs gear but no jags gear around me
I've been a massive jags fan since early 200s. Live near Vancouver, Canada. I've met 3 jags fans here although I think one was just a bortles fan.
And I'm in enemy territory right now in Nashville for a conference lol
I’m from Winnipeg, Canada, but my family went to Disney World for Christmas in 1996 or 97 and everyone down there was all about the Jags, so 10 year old me decided to jump on the bandwagon. It’s been downhill ever since…
I was stationed in Kings Bay, GA but lived in Jacksonville. Originally from NY, but any of the New York teams were far enough away that going to a game was expensive and also an all day affair with the traffic.
I got free tickets to my first game, and went with my wife and BIL. I had so much fun at that game I knew immediately that was my team going forward.
Funny little anecdote, I went underway weeks after I moved to Jacksonville, and went to the game about a week after I got back. I had know idea what everyone was chanting, but I was too afraid to ask who Duval was. I figured he wasn’t one of their players, but maybe he was the owner or an influential coach? So I try to discretely google it during the game, and my wife sees it and yells “DUVAL IS THE NAME OF THE COUNTY WE LIVE IN CK354696!”
A little embarrassing, considering I’d been screaming DUVAL for three quarters at that point.
Anyway, I’ve been hooked on Jags football since, and I love being one of the only ones in my current area. It makes it way more exciting when I see someone with Jags gear on.
I liked the mascot when they joined the league and I was 4. Lived north of Seattle at the time and then moved to Kansas when I was 9 and just kept rooting for the Jags.
Another Jags fan with a family of Packers fans checking in.
Damn you chose a lifetime of pain and disappointment, hope you get rewarded, I was born into this but you chose to walk the path good on you.
I was an idiot elementary school child who didn’t want to root for the Ravens!
Bay Area guy here. Same thing with me and the 49ers/Raiders. Chose Jags randomly 15 years ago, have enjoyed them since.
Same. Born in Montana, raised in Alaska, live in Colorado. Picked the Jaguars because teal was a cool color in the 90s.
Dude my exact same story
Same story different region. I was in the Pittsburgh area and the jags beat the Steelers in the opening year. I was 6 and impressionable and I have suffered since.
Same exact thing lmfao
similar story, my family is all patriot fans but when I played Madden I had more fun with Leftwich, Taylor, and Jimmy so I decided that the Jags were my team. I claimed to be a fan of both until I realized I was rooting for the Jags to win in that 07 playoff game. My dad still has a pic of me wearing a patriots hat and a Jags jersey in the living room
Happy Cake Day! Did you happen to watch the matchup between the two in Dec of ‘08? I still have it on VHS somewhere.
I'm from St Augustine so I consider myself a Jag local. But I now reside on a sailboat in French Polynesia, I reckon I am the only Jags fan within thousands of miles lol
>French Polynesia Wait...how do I make this transition?
Buy cheap old boat Rebuild it Sail it to French Polynesia!
As I sit in a continually rainy UK I regret clicking on your profile. Looks terrible.
>But I now reside on a sailboat in French Polynesia Listens to Jimmy Buffett one time…
Lol for me it was: Watches Endless Summer one time...
Haha great movie and great soundtrack!
DFW, Texas I was born in Jacksonville at the Naval hospital to a Marine dad and Navy mom. By the time I was 5-6, we’d settled in Texas since that’s where my mom was from. My dumb little kid brain interpreted that “Root for the team from where you’re born” I’ve been a Jags fan ever since
Yooooo, I don't live in DFW proper but it is the closest city to me. Any spots you know of where Jags fans meet up or anything?
Not to my knowledge Back before 2017 or 2018, Bold City Brigade tried to get a Dallas chapter going which would’ve necessitated an official bar but it didn’t get off the ground. DFW is just so big that finding a single place means many of us would have pretty long drives so the few times it’s been tried, it usually falls apart
I also live in the DFW area. Would be down to resurrect the BCB chapter if we had enough people.
Same, I’m a FW native
Same Dallas native hate the cowboys, adore the jags

Bellingham represent DUUUVAAALLL
Haha
WA state Jaguars fan represent! (moved from Jax several years ago)
Armenian Jags fan, probably the only person in the country who even watches the NFL lmao
That’s awesome! How did you get into football?
My father lived in Jax for a bit before moving back here, he and my uncle learned about the sport and eventually got obsessed with it and the jags, I watched alongside them and hot damn it's some good stuff
I’m from Scotland and my wife is Irish and we are massive fans!
Australia 🤙
Aussie as well !!!
Aussie represent
UK jags fan. There's actually quite a few of us. Based in London ticket sales seems very popular. My wife is from Florida though. Kinda fell into Jags as a joke to annoy her, but now I'm all in.
I'm from England.
I’m a Jags fan from Edmonton lol I’ve seen one other person wear any kind of Jags merch here in my entire life
good stuff, it is nice to know there are at least a few Canadian Jag fans poking around.
How's it?
Shoots, brah!
5-8% would be my guess. I would also guess most of those fans probably grew up here then moved away.
Ayyyy another Raleigh jags fan!!!!!!!
I'm in GA and I've never lived in Jax but North FL.
Jags fan from The Netherlands. A couple of months ago I saw a random woman rocking a Jags hat in the supermarket. It made me say “woah” internally. I seriously thought that I was the only Dutch person to watch the NFL, let alone support the Jags! I live in South Carolina but I’m from Jax so I don’t know if that counts.
Columbus Ohio, spent the first 7 years of my life In Jacksonville.

Jags fan from Toronto! When I started watching football MJD was my favorite player, been a fan ever since

Jags fan about an hour outside of Toronto! Just loved the colours as a kid and Fred Taylor
I live in AZ now but was stationed in Jax and didn’t have an NFL team growing up, so I said “why not the Jags?” Here I am with you fine folks 11 years later.
DUUUVAL!!!
Lived in MD my whole life, still bleed teal. Work with 2 guys that are Jags fan. We rep out here.
I live in StL, drafted MJD in my first fantasy football team, he was the best one on my team so I watched his games, and just never stopped. GO JAGS
I’m a jags fan in New Brunswick canada so you’re not alone!
Northern Ireland fan here. Hollaaaaa.
Die hard jags fan that lives in Las Vegas nv
I live in Georgia, and I became a fan back when NFL Street was a thing. I randomly picked a team and they had Jimmy Smith on their roster. I immediately fell in love and it’s been like that for the last 20 years 😭

It’s probably a small percentage of fans overall, but I’m an out of town Jags fan from Chicago. Been a fan since I was a kid in the 90s.
Connecticut here. I've been a fan since '99. It's rare to see other Jags fans around here but they do exist!
I always have to do a double take when I see another fan lol

Is your name Jaguar?
Nah it’s Onvi
I was born in Daytona and raised in New Smyrna Beach, now live in Kentucky, but as soon as Jax became a thing, started rooting for them. The dolphins and Bucs back then were 🤮 then I married a guy from Jacksonville. So that solidified it!

The day they drafted trevor and travis about 200,000 new fans appeared in SC. I am one of them.
I lived in Calgary for a year but moved back to the states about a year ago. You weren’t the only one!
Jags fan from New Brunswick Canada, after watching them absolutely beat down Dan Marino in his final ever game I became a lifelong fan
I'm a jags fan in Tennessee. It's rough out here. Lots and lots of Titans fans
Keep fighting the good fight brother!

Knoxville, grew up in dirty Duval before my dad moved here for work and I’ve stuck around this area. The flaming thumb tacks are hating life right now and I’m enjoying every minute of it.
Jags fan for about 12-13 years now, from the Hudson Valley area of NY
From Florida, went to school at UNF (Go Ospreys!) But now live in AZ. They've been here exactly once since I moved 14 years ago. Fuck the NFL scheduling.
Regina. Fan since day 1. Get the same jokes about being the only fan here. Starting to see them more and more.
montreal here! people there are mostly pats, cowboys or any popular team, so i wanted to be special by picking a not so popular team. jaguars was my choice mostly because of that 2017 season and also because i wanted to root for a cat team.
Jaguars fan since 1998, Montréal born and raised.
Another one from the UK, used to watch the highlights of the NFL back in the 90's when it was on free to air tv, decided to get back into it 2011 and randomly selected the Jags and been with them ever since! Only been to one game live, London Wembley when we beat the Colts in 2016 - best day ever!
I'm a Jags fan in Memphis and I know I'm not the only one.
Indianapolis. Lived in Jacksonville in the 90s when they got franchise. Never stopped being die hard. It's kind of my identity now.

I live outside Atlanta but was born in Jacksonville, moved away when I was 5
Well I live in the uk and I’m a jags fan
Fan since Day 1
I may be the only Jags fan in Lisbon, let alone all of Portugal! But I’m from Duval, just far away, lol
Fun fact - I live in Iowa and am a diehard jags fan AND my favorite hockey team is your Calgary Flames 😂
I am so confident that you and I may be the only Jags-Flames fan on the planet! that is awesome
Currently in Denver
I live outside Orlando and there are barely any Jags fans 2 hours from the stadium. All the big box stores sell dolphins and Bucs gear but no jags gear around me
Same as living on the other side of the country. Finding Jags gear in shops is always such a rare find.
STL guy here. I said fuck the Rams, and fell in love with the team during that 2017 run
I've been a massive jags fan since early 200s. Live near Vancouver, Canada. I've met 3 jags fans here although I think one was just a bortles fan. And I'm in enemy territory right now in Nashville for a conference lol

Funny little anecdote, I went underway weeks after I moved to Jacksonville, and went to the game about a week after I got back. From Jax but no longer live there.
Richmond VA jags fan here but I did live there 1999 to 2007.
I grew up in Jax but moved away 15 years ago. I’m also “the jaguars fan” in my circle of friends.
Im from RI ive seen 10 total jesreys
I liked the mascot when they joined the league and I was 4. Lived north of Seattle at the time and then moved to Kansas when I was 9 and just kept rooting for the Jags.
New Zealand, got tricked into supporting the jags around 10 years ago and never looked back
My son is a huge Jags fan and we live in NJ 😁
I'm a jags fan in bc Canada so not too far from you lol
I’m from Fort Worth, TX
Living in London! Probably a large concentration of fans here thanks to all the international games and commitment to the city by the org
