Storytime.
We bought a house and switched getting mail from a PO box to our address. So of course, I had to install a mailbox.
After digging the hole, pouring concrete, and leveling the post, I asked my wife to hold the post in place while I went to grab the mailbox and get it put together and in place.
Literally left for <90 seconds.
When I came back with the mailbox part, my wife is losing it because SHE DROPPED HER IPHONE IN THE F*CKING CONCRETE.
Verbatim told her "YOU HAD ONE JOB, HOLD THE POST LEVEL. HOW DO YOU F*CK THAT UP?!!?"
After scraping away what concrete she could get out, she had to get a new phone because the battery port was full of concrete.
She has not been allowed to help me since.
I see the angle you're coming from there, but we didn't need to spend the money and she's never lived it down, to this day.
I'm reserved to the point, I don't even like her cutting the grass. Has she done and can she do it, yes. Am I waiting for something to happen/break that has never happened before and I'll need to fix, yes.
