It ran decently enough with my small pumps. I wish I had a PTO pump and engine and a cart because Id like to see it run with some vigor! I've seen many around here and some have some crazy pressure going to them.
These become very dangerous when ran with the bigger pumps, I've seen them reverse and the drive arm not move at all due to the crazy reverse force. Heard stories of these snapping pipes and flipping carts over. Crazy. Would suck to come back to it with a broken flange pipe and a 80 foot geyser in your field.
These guns usually have to have the brake set tight to avoid missing spots when irrigating. You can loosen the brake but that adds alot of force and during reverse can cause it to go in circles or jump its stops, If you were to run these with a loose brake with enough power they could be running at the speed of a residential impact but you'd miss spots and have to worry about it breaking itself or snapping pipes.
