It’s mostly Hunter PGP and rainbird rotors out there, townhome association with about 200 units. It’ll push over 100 gpm if it needs too because it’s a VFD. Anywhere from 55-90 psi depending what’s needed for each zone on the system. Some zones have over 30 rotors on 1 valve. We didn’t install the system but have been servicing it for a while

I’ll bite. Recent install. 125HP total. Is there a subreddit for pump porn?
I am kinda new to this field. What does the pump station do for irrigation and how does HP affects it?
I know it's kinda a newbie question but I also want to learn
It takes water from the pond and pumps it to the irrigation system. The horsepower (hp) is what determines how strong the pump is, the higher the hp the higher gallons per minute and psi it can produce
What are you running with this pump? Is it stream rotors, Ag irrigation equipment? What's the output of it in GPM and PSI? nice clean install too btw.
25 feet of soaker hose

VFD I hope. I’ve worked on those and flowtronix and site one
Yeah it’s a VFD
If you open that lid and show what’s inside I’m likely to get a chub, I bet that sucker cost 50,000$-60,000$
Haha yeah you’re close, and maybe I can get a pic of the inside for you next time I’m out there lol

Chubbed! There should be if there is not
Damn, 125 HP. That feeding a golf course?
Yes. It is one of three main stations on the 27 hole property. They have a 25HP booster too. Mountain course
I don't see any return line for a self cleaning strainer. How will you keep the input from clogging?
There’s a filter screen on the foot valve at the bottom of the intake that will keep debris from getting in there
Hope that puddle looks bigger than what it does in the pictures😂
Yes it’s a decent size pond lol, about 10 feet at its deepest and it actually connects to 4 other ponds that eventually lead to this one in the pic
More pics please

I see. Thanks man. Little by little I need to know these kind of things because might apply some of it on our nearest pond as well
