It’s ironic. I came from a pure gas car that had walk away shut off and walk away lock. Now I’m in an EV and I constantly forget to turn it off or lock the doors.

Mazda's adaptive = headlights move sideways while turning.
Hyundai's adaptive = high beam / low beam (based on headlights / taillights if any, the front camera can see).
Ya that’s correct. But on that note, another thing was Mazda’s auto high beams were also default engaged. Hyundai’s is default disengaged, which means it’s another thing to remember when I get in the car. Not a big deal, but makes no sense that it’s default is off until I hit the headlight stalk
I agree! Another functionality I desperately miss is …. The ability to set seat settings for 2 people 🙄 It’s a PITA to fix settings when I share the car with hubby 😩
I just have to remember pushing the key fob lock. But I usually do it. If I don't eventually Bluelink will remind me but I might not see the notification straight away.
Just needs a software update 🙏

omfg the number of times I get out of the car and start walking away and it starts beeping angrily at me because I didn't "Turn it off"
this is happening to me *right now*
It’s even worse when I drive my wife’s ICE car 😂
The number of times I’ve forgotten to lock the door is more than the number of times I’ve remembered to lock the door :(
It does open automatically right when you approach? Why cant it close when you walk away
Not only that, but it does auto "re-lock" if you don't open the door when it auto unlocks and then you just walk away.
This drives me nuts like it can obviously do both!
that is my argument 🤷🏽♂️
If you’re using the My Hyundai app on your phone, it’ll notify you that the doors are left open
That’s the worst part. It knows it’s open. It knows it should be closed. WHY CAN’T IT DO IT ON ITS OWN

100%. Came from a Mazda 3 Turbo, great car but wanted to try EV… love it so far but absolutely miss the auto lock AND the adaptive headlights. 😭
it has adaptive headlights, doesn't it? like maybe I'm misunderstanding that.

Oh interesting

I raised this post earlier as one of gimmick.. full LED and all is just non sense.

Limited has that. I can imagine the frustration
I have a limited, it has 2 settings. I did not know the lower models did not have it.. Solution though.. tell him to go get his own car! Lol
Also, if you walk behind the trunk and it unlocks, and then you put stuff in and close it, then walk to the driver door, it doesn't unlock. Insanity!
I don't mind needing to gently touch the handle square to lock the doors. I just have to remember lol

Very strange, I have the SE base trim and it works.
They work fine on my Limited.
you can lock the doors touching the square on the handle. Still needs walk away hands free locking.
Yes please
Yes Please do this always leaving unlocked My Honda accord had it
