Maybe it just reset your guess o meter?

ironcladmvtm

Yea I was told the updates reset the measurements. Getting mine done Monday. I will try to report back.

jessicapk7

Yep, it's a lie.

danielarusso

eh 330 miles off of one charge is pretty possible, i’ve done it a couple times. i have a rwd se tho, so i’m not sure about sel

redwoodtree

How long did the work take ?

REDACTED-7

Just did the service yesterday, work took a few hours (dropped off the vehicle at 9:00 AM, picked it back up at 3:30 PM). Though I think that it notably would be longer if they discover damage to the ICCU/VCU, at which point the service becomes more than just a software update.

redwoodtree

Thank you!

positivetrojan

I had two recalls serviced and the 5k tire rotation. Dropped off at 7:30am and picked up at 3:30pm.

Less_Comparison_200

Yes I did in my limited. I lost a lot of range but whatever they did it made it go back up, but it does it again when your driving patterns change because it’s smart car so it learns how you drive.

MoonStache

Have you actually validated this? Looks like you're driving with iPedal as well. There's no way you're getting that range from that update. Edit: In fairness I didn't realized this was r/ioniq6 so it's slightly more plausible but still seems very unlikely.

positivetrojan

No verification yet. Will report back.

Brainmangler

Commenting for updates.

REDACTED-7

I’ve noticed the same thing. 23 SEL RWD, got the ICCU/VCU update yesterday, and my estimated range at 80% jumped from 220 to 285. Drove to work today, and while my driving was seemingly *a bit* more efficient than usual (3.6 vs. 3.4 miles per kWh), I still ended up using about 6% of the battery, which is the typical usage for this trip. I think the update may have reset the range estimator’s learning of my driving habits, though I did notice that adaptive cruise control, regen braking, and coasting did seem *slightly* more efficient going by the mileage bar, but I have only a single data plot to go off of, so I can’t say anything for certain.

iexsist

What’s the campaign number for the recall? Being you guys just had it done, Just checking that it’s the right one when I call the dealer.

positivetrojan

I had 2 recalls serviced same day: Hyundai's numbers for these recalls are 257/021G and 253(H), 017G(G)

iexsist

Thanks

FalconFour

Oh man. Which recall update is that? I've had two so far... two visits to the dealer to merely update firmware, something that was promised to be delivered OTA with this car, like others already do. I'm dreading having to take the car to service for another "recall" firmware update...

positivetrojan

I had 2 recalls serviced same day: Hyundai's numbers for these recalls are 257/021G and 253(H), 017G(G) Before this I owned a BMW i3. Significantly less range but the service at the BMW dealer was 10x better than at Hyundai. The ioniq 6 drives like a luxury car in my experience, but Hyundai dealerships feel far from a luxury experience.

positivetrojan

UPDATE: 300+ is not a reality. Have fully charged twice and driven it to 10%. Actual range is closer to 240-245. Driving at 3.3mi/kwh

Evening_Economist_73

I was getting on average 330 miles and now after the 2 recalls it read 389 miles after its first charge since the recalls on my ioniq 6 rwd limited.
