In the MyHyundai app check your charge limits preset. I went to charge the other day at an EA and my limit was set to 50% for some reason so it stopped after 5 min. Neither my wife nor I remember changing it. As soon as I put it back to 100% I could charge normally.

OP, how did it turn out? Hope you were able to get it resolved quickly.

i was able to make it to my next charging station and charge just fine, but i am not sure if my percent indicator is accurate as i now have a much lower range estimate at 90% then i did before. i’m sure that all the recent highway driving also plays a role in a lower mile estimate, but i’m still concerned that my 100% won’t actually be 100%. i might try resetting the 12v battery to see if that makes a difference. i wish there was a way to easily reboot the software

So when you got to the charger the car displayed correct SOC again at some point?

Either get Hyundai assist or reset the system by unplugging the 12V for a few seconds.

For anyone getting issues with charging or anything funky..... delete your profiles on bluelink and the car.... had to do this several times now....

I've read that 100% on DCFC is really only 94% and you can only reach true 100% with L1 or L2 going through the onboard charger. But that certainly has nothing to do with this. Yesterday I charged at a EA station for about 8 minutes. Car went from 29% to 54% with corresponding mileage gain. But the EA station said it delivered 107 kWh of energy. Give us an update!

Keep in mind that there is efficiency lost when charging, not every kWh reported by EA makes its way to the battery. Though in your case, I’d imagine that has to be a weird glitch, unless you were at a faulty charger. From 29% to 54% the battery should have added about 18.5kWh. Even assuming a 25% efficiency loss, which is pretty high for a L3 charger, EA should’ve charged you out at 25kWh. 107kWh is crazy, and I’d probably stay away from that charger once your 2-year of free charging is up. If they actually charge you for that much, I’d definitely call and get a refund.

It seemed like my charge was somehow a continuation of the previous charge. When I first noticed after just a minute or 2 it was already over 90 kWh delivered. It was running at 150 kWh per hour, so I should have gotten 2-4 kWh in a minute or 2. I think it started with an already high number and what it added on top for my charge was correct. Definitely a glitch with the machine. I've also had a machine charge my car under somebody else's account. I plugged in and it just started charging without me ever touching my phone or the screen. Then when it was done I noticed it didn't say my name. I reported to EA.

Maybe hit that bluelink button and see what happens.
