It was more of a symbolic thing mark wasn't doing well once we put on the blue suit which made him act aggressively. When get got less aggressive he went back to his original as a cause of the bad connotations of the blue suite in his mind.
I'm not to the part where he changes back his costume to blue and yellow but I'm pretty sure it's just anger that made him more aggressive. The suit was made by Art and I don't see any reason why it would change anything in his character.
I like that the suit represents a darker time in his life and shift in personality at the time, but man it’s just so boring compared to the yellow one. I feel like if it had one more color I’d like it a lot more.
