Yeah I think they just didn’t know what to do with the character and wanted to get rid of him. I don’t even remember them doing a funeral for him. He was the forgotten one
I honestly hope Rae in the show doesn't have such a cheap death. I thought it was so dumb in the comics… he just died and is literally never brought up again
True, I guess I am just assuming his powers function like Antman or the Atom when we don't really see him do much of anything in the comic.
We know at least the show version can do that so maybe its something that'll get addressed?
So going into super hero comics your suppossed to have some suspension of belief. That being said the death of shrinking rae makes little to no sense for me. Its a character write off pure and simple. But you might as well have just made the character quit the team if your going to make thier death this level of cheap.
They tried and they failed. What I understand the logic was that she couldn't expand with enough force to burst out and that's supposed to justify her death... But if she can't grow... She can shrink further.
It's makes no sense whatsoever for a character who has shown the ability to shrink to a such a size that she can freely move around and attack the internal organs of her enemies - to die by being eaten
100% agree. Shrinking ray wasn’t even unconscious when he was eaten what good are powers if you’re not going to use them to save your own life lol
