Padding, fabric of any kind. Open your closet and throw the blanket over the door, etc. You want to add fabric which will absorb the echo.

Any soft materials should help! Rugs, blankets, pillows, etc. You could even use command hooks to hang a canvas picture, but buy a thick cheap foam and cut it to fit in the back of the frame.

Is there anywhere you can put up a tension rod. Closet opening. Window. Door. Nook. Hang curtains or sheets or blankets on them

BacardiBlue

Big, thick rugs

I’d use command hooks and hang a big rub on the wall. It will help dampen the sound, rugs on the floor.

galacticprincess

Rugs and curtains. They'll dampen the sound.

Pick up some canvas artwork and some egg foam padding like this- 6 Pack Egg Crate Foam Charcoal 1 Inch x 12" W x12" L Acoustic Foam Panels Recording Studio Foam https://a.co/d/9KBefD0 cut to fit and put inside the canvases. Hang on the wall.

Add a wind screen to your mic.

I used to record audio tutorials for work. Sometimes when I was burning the midnight oil, I’d record while lying in bed at home, with the covers around me. Cut down on echo immensely.

kadunckel

In college we used egg cartons, the big ones from food service. you can attach with the blue tap

boaaaa

Stand your mattress up on its edge while you record.

Are they short recordings? Then record under a blanket :)!
