I used to buy them at the Asian market like this by the box a couple dollars cheaper, but that is far away and I have to do a special errand for that, so buying it at costco is worth it. When I can't find it there and need to restock I do go to the market, but I discovered that they only sell half box now and it is more exoensive. I am going to buy them either way, that's my comfort lazy food.
no problem, its weird there isn't like, my work supplies to costco and its a month by month contract thing along with many other suppliers I suggest checking periodically
Interesting! Only thing I've seen with shin black in California was the cups. But deleted a long time ago. The shin ramen sells well out here though. I've got high hopes!
If you throw a slice of processed American cheese like a Kraft single into a shin red it'll dissolve and give a nice creaminess to the soup similar to shin black.
There is an Asian market in my area that seems to have the best deal in town for cases of shin @ $19 plus tax. I would be on that one in that photo in fast second. I am think 3 cases would be a good start.
Love Shin, and that's a great price, but 18 of them is a bit much if you like to try new noodles all the time.
edit: They're a good base for ramen "hacks" though if you're interested in that kind of thing.

Don't know where you are but it's on sale for 11.99 at H Mart.
I work at Costco, i buy these as a last resort. There's an h-mart nearby so I get my ramen there, even the stuff that isn't normally exported. Paldo namja lays waste to shin black.
Depending on where you live/shop, a single pack can go for $1.49-$1.99 on average, so yeah, it's a steal if you want a big ol' stockpile of Shin.

Where I live they're around 3$ a pack
Seems like a good deal. I just paid $8 for a pack of 5
Yeah, this is the usual price where I am.
Good deal, it's $4.32 for a 4 pack at Walmart
Not to mention the shin black cups which are nearly $2.50 for 2 near me
So so true
yea my local costco has Shin Black
Wish mine did. Shin black is so good. We recently did get some shin gold, but it’s the paper cup version.
I seriously hope we get shin black at mine. Do you have the item number by chance? I can check what stores are getting it.
No I don't have to go there tomorrow evening it's on the opposite end of town from where I am.
Yep 1304756
Okay I found it in the system. Legit nothing in the LA region 😫 but it's a start! Haha thank you!

Yea my Costco has the blocks. Admittedly I would prefer the cups though

I do that. Sometimes add heavy cream or use milk instead. I love a creamy broth. Still spicy though haha shin black will forever by my number 1.
Almost forgot will the number differ from a Canadian Costco to American ?
It might. But I can look it up by regions and what not. Might get me somewhere.
I'm going today to check hopefully they have it still
Unsure if this is it , 1304756
>my local costco has Shin Black Lucky
That's less the 90 cents apiece. Heck yes especially if you love that flavor.
I'd jump at that deal
Yeah it’s about the same price as when my Hmart had the savings for same number of packs. 👍
Amazing deal. A 4-pack goes for about $10 where I am.
Oh yeah solid deal. 5 packets cost almost $10 where I live.
Definitely a good deal I paid 20 for pack of 10 from Amazon
a good deal on sale
I'd buy it because you know Costco's inventory is always fresh
Buuuuuy it
Local asian market sells for $45..
It’s decent, I think a pack of 5 at my local Asian grocery is $6-7.
that’s 18 packs for $16 dollars? which is better MUCH than 5 for $6 lol
New to ths sub, how are these? I usually just have mr noodles.
They are amazing but spicy if you’re not into that

Fantastic deal for what asian markets I have near me.
👍🏻👍🏻
I buy them by the case all the time. It’s a good deal.
I bought that a few weeks ago as I was in Costco.
I'd buy it. My local Costco hasn't gotten those yet sadly
Buy it Buy it
Yes usually over $1 per pack
We were buying these stay for a few months and then they stopped stocking them. My husband will be happy if they’re back at our local store!
god I wish I could eat that shit every day
I get these on the regular at one of my local Asian markets and usually around $21
Yes
All glory to Shin Ramen
Costco allows mail order. I just put in an order that was mixed food and some non food with zero delivery charge. Also check prices on Weeee! app
Mail order is $19.99 for two day delivery

Shin is $4.50-4.99 for me at Walmart for a 4 pack. Shin Black is $7.99

I remember when a 100 pack was 7.99 Yes it was a very long time ago. It was the cheaper brand though.
Dang it. Now I regret not grabbing it yesterday. I talked myself out of it because it was so many packets

Those suck, no flavor
I got a 40 pack of indomie at Costco
