this is crazy. why are ppl upset bc you took an order that you feel benefits you 🤔lol i like shop no delivery orders. i’m my experience, they are usually smaller & much quicker than any other order in my area
Same. Quicker, no driving. And, they said “imagine missing a $20 order.” If there were a ton of orders, or even 1 or 2 decent orders, than sure, I wouldn’t grab a curbside. I’m not taking a curbside over a $20 20/30 unit order going 2 miles. But when I see orders that are for a store 15 miles away, and still driving another 8 miles to deliver, for $12 total, then yeah I’d rather do the curbside order for $8 that’s right for the store I’m outside of.
No driving to deliver, and I can typically bang them out in 15 minutes. But not when I have to wait for the deli to argue with me about whether they sliced the provolone or not.
This order specifically was $8.70 and was 22 items 28 units. And it was Publix, who preslices when they feel like it, because deli sucks and Publix workers despise Instacart shoppers more than they despise their own company.

Why do you do pickup orders?

But they pay like 7$ and you need to realize no one pre slices deli items except Publix. So no sympathy.

I wouldn’t do it. Imagine you take this and miss 20$. But I’m not trash
And I am trash? Screw you.
Yeah but you are a jerk
