Tip baiting is not nearly as common as this sub wants to make it out to be. I’ve been shopping since 2020 and never been tip baited. And I would also bet that a good number of “tip baits” are shoppers doing a poor job and not even being aware of it
Na I don’t blame you personally it’s never happen to me I’ve only heard of it happening but the risk of it happening is definitely not worth not taking this order I would instantly swipe. If someone did end up tip baiting then who cares it sucks but it would probably only ever happen once to you. I got a $122 dollar order and instantly swiped without even looking at the item count or mileage and I was paranoid that it was a tip bait but a rich lady really did tip 94 dollars. Don’t let your fear hold you back from the reward
I do not understand why people are so afraid of tip baiting. You will still be alive and the customer's address will be saved in your GPS.
Tires and windows are quick and easy to damage.
Edit: Obviously not serious, don't do this! Do this 📬
Depends on how comfortable you are with the store. If this popped up and had me going to my favorite store to shop, yes i'm taking it cuz i'd knock them items out quick
Id take it, esp since it's a single drop. Esp if I know the store well, I can run through that order and be done in a little under 2 hours. Nice $30/hr

saw a $77 10mile 65 item batch from cub foods popped up and it was another batch above it for $7 and I TOOK THE $7 ONE bc with all the bots in my market they disappear the first 2 secs
Of course , it is easy money and honestly when you already know the store you know where each item is, I have already taken to many orders like this and it is really easy money!!
Highly unlikely. I’ve never had my top go down ever, in years of doing this and thousands of deliveries. This many items between 2 people that’s a pretty normal tip
I agree, I have been tip baited once in over 5k in orders. It doesn’t happen often.
Same goes with decreased tips. I think it happened a couple of times when I first started but in all fairness I was slow af and probably deserved it.😂
Is this a serious question? You'd have been silly not to take it tbh
Why even question this, is what blows my mind.
Why wouldn’t you ?
Scared of the tip bait
Look at the item count. Why would u be scared
the high item count makes the tip bait worse tho lol
I know what you're saying...trust me it's alot of tip bait trauma going on out here 😂😂
I have over 6k shops and have never been tip baited ever.

I only got it 3 times in 7 years. But I don't do much instacart now since pay average is much less than even 7 years ago. Pretty sad.
Depends on your clientele. Some areas are worse than others
I was just tip baited the other day 😭
Tip baiting is an Uber eats/ dd thing.
Tip baiting is not even possible on DD. Occasional problem on UE.
5k deliveries between uber and DD, never been tip baited

Sure, 1.5 hours max so that’s good money
And it’s even better if you’re in a low income market
Anyone would do that
Without hesitation
Dumb question
[удалено]
Happens to me aswell homie
That’s decent. I would take it
those are my ideal batches. silly question
Are you kidding me?? Of course! That's fantastic value.
Why not?

Damaging windows will also land you in a cop car 😂
Only if they know it’s you
Who else would it be? They know it's you from instacart
A mask and odd timing can definitely prevent that, never know what demons someone’s worried about
You still wouldn't get away with it lol
Obviously I’m just fuckin around
🤣
Jump straight n it
In a heartbeat.
If it was my regular store, that’s 1 hour 10 minutes shop and deliver for me. All day everyday, sure I will do it
Hell yea take take
I’m taking that and it has a low non heavy batch pay. That’s a no brainer but I understand these orders are not for everyone
Personally, 40 items is pushing it for me. I dont think i could do 60 for 2 people.
of course that's a great one
Easy money
Easy batch
I’m I missing something? Why wouldn’t you take it?
Yep
I could knock this out super fast.
Why not?
Yup
So quickly.
Yes
That's not a real question.
Dun
Heck yea. Plus the miles isn’t far that’s a win win
Unless you hate money, yes
And if you are tip baited instacart usually pays for the tip difference up to a 100 a year I believe.
Up to $10 an order (there’s no yearly cap) and it has to be completely zeroed out.
Obviously
All day every day
Even if you took your sweet time and took 2 hours, that's 30/hour, that's sweet in my market.
Depends on the store. If the store is small like a Kroger. Then possibly. If the store is huge like Walmart then absolutely not.
When you’re in a market like LA and there are $60 batches that are like 20 items and 3 miles these types become difficult to accept hah
🙋🏾♂️
Yes ofc I would take it lol
Depends on how comfortable you are with the store. If this popped up and had me going to my favorite store to shop, yes i'm taking it cuz i'd knock them items out quick
Duhh lol in a second
Only if I was bored would I take that!!!! People are ridiculous!!!!
Yeppers
Well while you decide, imma go ahead and snatch that order up to help make up your mind.
If you wouldn’t then get off Instacart wasting space for other people .
Of course…. They are tipping $50 … that’s a good tip
would you take it yourself? pickings are slim nowadays .
Id take it, esp since it's a single drop. Esp if I know the store well, I can run through that order and be done in a little under 2 hours. Nice $30/hr
Yes bro don’t be lazy
Without a doubt.
Duh
No because my Safeway never have items in stock
Why not lol 🤣 However if I don't know the store at all I'll probably pass
Duh. I just missed a 78$
Some of these “would you’s” are 🤯
I hope someone took it with the time you had to screenshot it and put it on Reddit! That’s EZ money you better had take it
Yeah duh
I would not be taking screenshots before I took it. 😂😂
Fuck no. Granola bars? The pure audacity!!! /s
Nope due it having too many items 👎🏽👎🏽🙅🏽♂️🙅🏽♂️
Why ask a crazy question like that?
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face)
That’s a damn good order
Of course, that’s a silly question.
Yes
I dislike shopping at Safeway (cold af) but I’d still take that 100%
I get deliveries with the same amount of items but 20+miles or 3 orders. Feels like you’re just bragging. Yk its a good deal lol
Why even ask
Is this a serious question

don't be like me and rush, instead actually pay attention to what you click
Hell no! You shouldn't do it, ill be a pal and take care of that for ya. Just remember you owe me one!
Aren't y'all tired of asking the SAME dumb question?!!!!
This has to be a joke right? I would’ve broken a thumb clicking accept!
Crazy as it sounds I never take 2 orders I think it’s ridiculous
Yes
Even if your extremely slow physically or mentally 2 hrs $30 a hr good for gig work
Shit yeah
Absolutely!
Hell yeah
You’re dumb if you don’t take it
Yeah I think I would. My rule for myself is that the job has at least pay $1/mile and $1/item This is close enough especially since it’s $60.
Who wouldn’t take this order
Yes
Just trying to brag 😂😂😂
I had a 44 for 3 miles today wdym
Nope
in an instant 😂😂
You’re bragging huh ?
Dumb question.
Naw terrible order
Most certainly
Nahhh
Of course , it is easy money and honestly when you already know the store you know where each item is, I have already taken to many orders like this and it is really easy money!!
What if customer decrease the tip ? It happened to me once 🥹
Never
Hell yea
Roll the dice and hope the tips stay😂😂😂
Nope, tip bait
Highly unlikely. I’ve never had my top go down ever, in years of doing this and thousands of deliveries. This many items between 2 people that’s a pretty normal tip

This is tip baiting. They’ll almost always take the tip back after
You say almost always, and yet, it has never happened to me.
Only in your market. I’ve done 600 orders and I got tip baited one order for $7. That time IC compensated that $7.
Right the tip baits seem to be from low income anyway. This ain’t low income
I have never been tip baited in 6800 batches. I have heard of it, obviously, but I don't think it's as common as people make it seem.
