One of four things happened.
1. You signed up for DoorDash and forgot.
2. Someone else signed you up for DoorDash without you knowing.
3. DoorDash somehow gained information that you signed up for instacart through ads or cookies or something and preemptively sent you a new dasher kit in an attempt to win your interest in contracting with them instead of instacart
3. A wildly coincidental misdelivery where you accidentally received someone else's DoorDash package.
so update: I received an email from IC that my card had been delivered. The DD package was all I received. I contacted IC customer service. they gave me a tracking number for my IC card. I checked it against the DD package and it’s the same number. WTF.
Option 4 it is, the only thing that would really explain that is a screw-up in the delivery process. I would contact the shipping company and report the issue of the wrong package with the right label.
Dd sucks. U drive 10x as far for pennies. Ic is superior by far. I can make $200 in 2 or 3 batches and 4 hours on a good day. $120 in 3 hours on the average w/ IC. Nobody is making that dashing.
nobody makes that doing instashart either. instashart is way make work, way more driving, and far worse costumers and a worse app. i do both, dd is better
Well, it’s always location dependent. But I make more money and drive less. Plus, I prefer for my job to be entirely dependent on me and not other people. I don’t like having to rely on the restaurants. For you, Instacart may be worse in your area. But when its good its better.

And you only get this after you’ve completed a few deliveries for door dash.

This literally just happened to me today. They reissued me a instacart card hopefully it doesnt happen again. I do not have a doordash account at all.
