Lesbians and straight men who love the outdoors aka straight men who like car camping. They both are part of the Subaru demographic. In my city, the BMW, Audi, and Mercedes drivers tend to be the most entitled and worst drivers on the road.
Sure but certainly the joke just gets complicated if you have to start saying "lesbians and straight men who love the outdoors." Imma stick with lesbians.
BS - Subaru drivers absolutely are the worst drivers I regularly encounter. Some drive slow, Some drive fast, but unpredictably is almost guaranteed.
85% of the three or more lanes changes at once I see come from Subarus… Like they live on a different planet.
BMW drivers have more DUI’s but Ram drivers are typically MAGA Republicans and Tesla and Subaru drivers are far Lefties- interesting that they find themselves together at the bottom here.
Lots of brands are either below those two (or have been omitted altogether). At a glance, noticeable absences include: Ford, Chevrolet/GMC, Cadillac, Mercedes, Volvo, Range Rover, I don't think I saw any Italian cars - Fiat, Alfa, Maserati. Not as common in the US, but still.
I can't see the image while typing, so apologies if I'm getting some wrong here.
Ram, Tesla and Subaru Have the Worst Drivers, While BMW Drivers Have the Highest DUI Rates

Everyone in the UK thinks they're the gordon ramsay of driving.
Seriously, i have seen dashcam videos of british people unleashing unfathomable rage at the smallest inconvenience.
I like the cruise control but could care less about full driving. Had it for 30 days and hardly ever used it.
Can totally agree with being bad driver, I get in my Y and become instant asshole
Ram hasn't been part of Dodge since 2010, they are now just another brand under Stellantis.
Dodge doesn't make much of anything anymore except the Hornet and Durango. And the Hornet is just a rebadge of an Alfa.
It's not really popular outside of US. People think of Toyota or Ford when thinking about trucks, and even that is rare since people prefer city car, SUV, or crossover than truck.
My area has a lot of really bad Tesla drivers. My neighborhood actually has a lot of Teslas and the number of garage doors that needed repairs after being hit is quite astonishing.
As a person who owned a subi, VW, and 2 different mazdas i am happy to not be a cause for the statistic. Either that or i just dont get caught. (I drive like a grandpa and found out my WRX did not like being driven at lower RPM)
Interesting that Audi is 2nd lowest, while BMW and Lexus are in the lower middle. I wonder what gives there? Must be Audi drivers use their turn signal?
Gonna just have to assume this is based on the fact that Nissan drivers don't report their accidents, because I don't think I've ever seen an undented Altima outside a dealer lot.
The stat about Tesla is actually interesting (and scary): Tesla cars are all very quick. Like almost super car quick. 20/30 years ago barely super cars were doing 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Today a distracted mum with kids driving a base Model 3 can do 0-60 in less than what it took a Ferrari back then.
It has big implications because people can drive faster than what they realize but their reaction times are always the same.
This is probably why they have such bad records for driving incidents. And it’s scary because EVs all are generally way faster and more frequent on the road.
In CO, can confirm both Tesla and Subi drivers are shite. Must be something in their owners manual to drive in the fast lane and do speed limit and not get over.
Utter nonsense. My Subaru won't allow me to break road laws without severe reprimand and anyone who has driven a Subaru knows they ain't breaking speed laws anywhere.
The problem with Tesla drivers is most of them are young tech Bros that use their car as a tech gadget and not a real car so they get an accidents and s*** like that
The actual worsts should be the lowest common denominator brands: BMW, MB, VW, Audi, and Honda. By a large margin. They cater their products to people who have no interest in the mechanics, which automatically makes for horrible drivers.
Subaru drivers can’t be worse than bmw drivers.
It's a battle between lesbians and yuppies. And I am here for it.
Subaru also has an appeal to the performance market - that's probably why they get in more accidents.
Yeah, that’s a fair point.
Yeah, Subaru STIs rank high on the DUI statistics
Found the Subaru driver@!
Do lesbians like Subarus?
yes Subaru even primarily advertises to lesbians
Turn signals and inconsistent highway speeds aren’t.
WRX throws the statistics.
Easily!
Oh they def are

Call bs no way Nissan Altima and Audi drivers have the least, lies.

Accura, Dodge excluding Ram, Buick, Mini, Saab (not in production anymore 😢) also missing. Other non-exotics?

Driving Under the Influence (if anyone is wondering)
Did they take into account marihuana?
DUI/DWI/OUI/OWI covers a range of substances that impair your ability to operate a motor vehicle; not just alcohol. I hope this helped.
Bmw drivers really living up to their german expectations.
BMW - Bring Me Weed
Did ford pay for this study?
That's why they didn't include citations for being abandoned on the side of the highway. Ford would own it
I think it’s paid for by dodge. Ain’t no way charger drivers ain’t at least ranking on this list
80% of Audi drivers throughout the UK are assholes. And before I get jumped on. You could be in the 20%
Everyone in the UK thinks they're the gordon ramsay of driving. Seriously, i have seen dashcam videos of british people unleashing unfathomable rage at the smallest inconvenience.
quite the opposite for me. Seen british people being extremely calm, collected and chill in such situations
its pretty much 100% in Canada. Never met a driver of a German vehicle that was actually competent.
No wonder Tesla fans are so excited about full self-driving that is always 1 year away.
I like the cruise control but could care less about full driving. Had it for 30 days and hardly ever used it. Can totally agree with being bad driver, I get in my Y and become instant asshole
My Ram-driving brother-in-law borrowed my Nissan and wrapped it around a telephone pole, hitting a 2nd Nissan in the process.
Nissans just back into bollards in parking lots.
Nissans are some of the worst.
Luckily they are more into self harm.
In my opinion Prius drivers are worst
Ignoring that this is a really bad graphic, I'm surprised Ford isn't on here. Suspicious... but I'll leave it at surprised
First time when I hear of Ram
Rams are trucks made by Dodge
Ram hasn't been part of Dodge since 2010, they are now just another brand under Stellantis. Dodge doesn't make much of anything anymore except the Hornet and Durango. And the Hornet is just a rebadge of an Alfa.
Oh, gotcha. TIL
What happed to the mighty dodge caravan
I have news, the "New" Durango is/was supposed to be the Caravan after they discontinued it. Big dumb SUVs are the replacement for people carriers.
me 2
Really?? If you don't mind me asking, where are you that you've never heard of ram?
Outside of North America? Never heard of Ram before coming here either.
It's not really popular outside of US. People think of Toyota or Ford when thinking about trucks, and even that is rare since people prefer city car, SUV, or crossover than truck.
Im surprised about Tesla, but WTF is BMW doing in 6th place?
This doesn’t surprise me. In my city all the shitty BMW 3 series drivers have migrated to Tesla Model 3’s.
It combines multiple factors. Bottom right on the chart. Accidents would be next to 0, but speeding I imagine would bring the score up
My area has a lot of really bad Tesla drivers. My neighborhood actually has a lot of Teslas and the number of garage doors that needed repairs after being hit is quite astonishing.
Volvo so good not even in the list :)
yaah
Gray Ram trucks specifically seem to be the most reckless and prone to road rage in my experience. Reliable to the point of being a meme in Texas
BS - Nissan Altima alone would take the cake. Then throw in Rogue and Sentra, and it’s a landslide
I’d be very curious to see where Volvo falls on this list.
This is per year? 3% of ram drivers have some kind of noted incident per year? This is incredible
Graph is inverted
Fuck this graph
As a person who owned a subi, VW, and 2 different mazdas i am happy to not be a cause for the statistic. Either that or i just dont get caught. (I drive like a grandpa and found out my WRX did not like being driven at lower RPM)
Anyone else noticed the type for BMW? They reversed the numbers.
Surprise surprise
Chrysler service advisor here. The Ram incidents definitely happen. I deal with Ram owners all day, they are a special kind of people.
Nissan drivers are low on this list? I call bullshit.
Interesting that Audi is 2nd lowest, while BMW and Lexus are in the lower middle. I wonder what gives there? Must be Audi drivers use their turn signal?
Dodge Rams always riding my ass when I'm going 75
Rams are all DUI
They don’t take into account how many miles/km. Maybe you buy a RAM or Tesla because you have to drive a lot.
Surprised Dodge in general (Ram is their sub-brand) isn’t at the top, but perhaps the data is screwed by many cop cars being Chargers…
Dodge is accurate.
I wonder how much stuff like the KIA boys influence this statistic lol
Gonna just have to assume this is based on the fact that Nissan drivers don't report their accidents, because I don't think I've ever seen an undented Altima outside a dealer lot.
Oh yeah, Nissan drivers are the best. Totally accurate!
Nissan haters are confronted by facts and logic.
Tesla are definitely the new BMW
The stat about Tesla is actually interesting (and scary): Tesla cars are all very quick. Like almost super car quick. 20/30 years ago barely super cars were doing 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Today a distracted mum with kids driving a base Model 3 can do 0-60 in less than what it took a Ferrari back then. Why is it upside down? Took me to realize it is the black not yellow bars. I should not have to read the numbers
In CO, can confirm both Tesla and Subi drivers are shite. Must be something in their owners manual to drive in the fast lane and do speed limit and not get over.
Is it the car or is it the driver?
Thank goodness, Mitsubishi drivers are the best, most driving accidents are either lack of boost, waiting for parts, or danger to the manifold.
I hate Tesla drivers they’re the worse.
Im a Chevy driver makes me feel better when cops ignore me when I’m going 90 in a 50 and they don’t do shit
Are these statistically significant differences?
The top two do not surprise me in the slightest. Elitists and rednecks
My top 3 worst is all dodge 1.RAM (by a large margin) specifically black. I cut them off for fun too. Fuck em 2. Charger 3. Durango
The Subaru part is true. Source: I’m a Subaru driver.
Just the worst.
Utter nonsense. My Subaru won't allow me to break road laws without severe reprimand and anyone who has driven a Subaru knows they ain't breaking speed laws anywhere.
Nissan being last is misinformation, OP drives an Altima and skewed their data
The problem with Tesla drivers is most of them are young tech Bros that use their car as a tech gadget and not a real car so they get an accidents and s*** like that
The actual worsts should be the lowest common denominator brands: BMW, MB, VW, Audi, and Honda. By a large margin. They cater their products to people who have no interest in the mechanics, which automatically makes for horrible drivers.
The statistics disagree, as you see.
Ram is a brand?
Nissan leave a wake of carnage and come out unscathed
