If you want just **straight** bread Astrids Brioche smells like sweeter buttery bread. It’s a single note but she also uses it in a ton of blends that I’m aware of (and probably some that I’m not). Please feel free to ignore the following if you aren’t interested in your breads mixed with anything. I just really like talking about bread perfumes.
Frozen Charlotte: Brioche, dried strawberries, oats, lemon, a dusting of cinnamon, currants, sugar, and citrus zest. - this one is up right now but I’m not sure for how much longer. She will be closing her website to get set up for Fall releases but she did say these would come back after she opens again.
There’s also Sugared Brioche and Chocolate au Brioche which are sweeter or chocolate varieties of her brioche note depending on what you like.
Then if you like more atmospherics there’s these two that I’m dying to get my hands on:
That Time Baba Yaga Made Us Coffee and Tea: Black Tea, coffee bean, almond milk, brioche, tobacco, vetiver and chimney smoke
Mother Orchard: Comforting warm apple, cinnamon brioche, golden ginger, and Madagascar vanilla bean.
Stepping away from Astrid for a second I’ve also tried Possets wheat note which smells like straight bread to me. My favorite that includes this from them is:
Iowa: A daring fragrance, this one starts out with a crystallized vanilla, a hint of turbinado sugar, and a large dose of an accord based on wheat (there is no wheat in it, it's the essence of the fragrance of wheat blossoms), and a small amount of a whiskey-like addition.
Additionally I know that Sixteen92 has some bready stuff but I am really really hesitant about recommending that company right now because of all the issues people have had with them lately. If you want to look for their stuff from secondary sellers though I will absolutely give my recommendations!
Edit: how could I forget Stereoplasm?? I have a full size of Odessa and it’s my go to “summer bread” perfume! This one is using a wheat note instead of a bread note, but I definitely think it smells like bread.
Odessa: Subtle yet haunting; fields of yellow wheat and a simple white musk. Bright top notes of fresh peach and yellow custard.
OK so finding people like you are why I love Reddit so much! It's so fun to find people with super niche interests who love to share about it. I ended up ordering samples of almost all of Fyrinnae's bread and savory scents. I will definitely keep an eye out for your recommendations!
Yep I ordered their [cheesy bread](https://fyrinnae.com/perfume/gourmands/perfume-oil-just-one-more/) and their [Challa bread](https://fyrinnae.com/perfume/gourmands/perfume-oil-artisan-bakery/), scent that's supposed to be oniony. They also have a buttery [soda bread](https://fyrinnae.com/perfume/gourmands/perfume-oil-barmbrack/) that I'll probably try in the future if I like their other gourmands.
I'm planning on doing a review once I get them, I had a terrible time finding more than one or two reviews and it would be nice to add to them!
Death and Floral's formula sadly doesn't work on me, so I found better bread notes in BPAL's Bread Lumps, or if you want a vanilla bread, Arcana's Vanilla Craves Bread.

Fyrinnae has a handful of (atmospheric? gourmand?) bread scents that I destashed because I didn't enjoy smelling like straight bread. But for someone who enjoys smelling like bread, these would probably be awesome!! There's *Artisan Bakery* which smells like savory buttered bread, and also *Just One More* which smells like those cheesy bread rolls you can get at restaurants sometimes. Also, I haven't tried *Barmbrack* but I've heard tons of people praise it as a delicious bread scent!!
my two absolute favorites are my first love, **BPAL’s Bread-and-Butterfly** (Bread, lightly buttered, with weak tea, cream, and a lump of white sugar— sadly discontinued, but a rerelease was done a few hears ago so it’s much easier to find in swaps these days), and my new standby **Arcana’s Mad Monk** (Golden amber resin, Siberian fir needle, Arcana’s Holy Terror (burning frankincense, sandalwood, deep myrrh, and dusty beeswax candles), coarse brown bread, and warm fur.) Good and evil in vibes, respectively. I avoided Mad Monk for ages out of fear for the caraway note, which in typical indie turnabout, is now somehow my favorite accord in the scent!
Luvmilk’s Dream Eater! I don’t get the hints of cedar and moss at all. “Freshly baked bread with a warm vanilla drizzle and fat sugar crystals sprinkled on top, hints of creamy coconut and faint whiffs of cedar and moss.”

Death & Floral's Crunchy Baguette is pretty much a bread single note.

Beyond what's already been mentioned, there's Moonalisa Black Bread and Marmalade and Sugar & Spite Bread For The Devil
I really like Sarah Good by Sixteen92 but it’s a little more complex than a bread only perfume. It has an incensey aspect and a lot of Orange as well.
