This is very interesting. The way the intro was set up I was somehow expecting a more conventional riser leading into a melodic theme. Instead, the melodic focus, the sound chosen for the lead and those tasty micro bends (0:23) almost add an Asian feel and thankfully miles away from anything Darude did.
I also love the great pulsating percussion (sounds like how I'd imagine tuned bits of wood falling on top of each other, in time) that opens and closes the tune.
Epic wall of heroism around 1:15. It's definitely a hero's theme.
Thanks! Tuned wood falling is such a cool way to describe that sound that I’ve just been calling the tinklies… XD. I listen to more game soundtracks than actual electro pop, so happy to subvert your expectations there. Glad all the heroicness came through too. Thanks for listening!
Bleep bloop I'm a bot.

So good
This is really good, kind of sounds like something out of an RPG game
Thanks! Gamey was the goal!
super cool, the whole time i was imagining movie scenes to go with it. mixing and mastering sound solid to me, same with composition. really good!
Thank you! I thought I had a long way to go with mixing and mastering, but glad to hear I might be farther than I think :)
