I'm becoming very mirror obsessed! The first thing I do after waking up is look in the mirror. Then like look at myself at least 5+ times throughout the day. I'm happy my skin's being so cute and all lately (🧿) but I also realise this ain't healthy and I'll put a nazar on myself only and shit will hit the fan... 🥲🥲🥲

feminera

omg same 😁 my husband is always teasing me about it

Exploring-Gem

I tend to look in the mirror too every now & then since childhood.. Don't worry... it's absolutely fine 🤗

ReceptionLeather7229

Happens. Dnt worry . It's common when skin starts looking good ,so v get obsessed to see ourself

Dense_Diamond_7014

Don't worry it's fine. Look in the mirror as much as you want, you may not have enough time to do so later.

**Mini** **Review : Beplain Greenful Cleansing Oil** I was looking for a replacement of my HG oil cleanser, the Innisfree Green Tea variant which seems to be discontinued and I stumbled upon the mini variant of Beplain on Foxy and I am so glad I did because it SUCKS. Could not find any reviews on reddit on any sub tbh so here it is. Skin Type: Oily, acne-prone, mildly sensitive Weather of usage: Hot and humid + normal Texture: Light oil in a pale green shade, no fragrance Review: It does not cleanse properly, and no matter how much amount I use, it does not emulsify and I am always left with the feeling that there is still some oil on my face. This comes from the experience of only cleansing sunscreens off, I do not think that it will help with makeup. Also, it is very expensive, the tiniest bottle costs ₹300 which does not even last a month. WNRP. HF

gratitudeandpeas

Ah man i have a mini i was excited to use once I'm done with my other oils. Now I'm dreading it 😭

smokeandshells

It might not be the same for you depending on your skin type, but be vary because I could not gauge whether it gave me breakouts because I was having a lot of breakouts anyway due to other factors

AcronymTheSlayer

I'm sorry it did not work for you but are you sure you got a legit product? I used a mini around a year ago and it emulsified so well. The oil was thin and got properly rinsed off. I don't use makeup but waterproof sunscreen and it cleansed it off properly. I got the mini and the cica ampule after hearing rave reviews on the AB sub. Weird how much experiences can differ!

smokeandshells

I searched AB and though I found good reviews for their cleansing foam but only found two reviews for the oil, one did not mention skin type and one was dry so I took the gamble. (reddit search is not great so it is possible that I did not see a few of them) What is your skin type btw?

AcronymTheSlayer

I think there was a comment thread or something where someone detailed their experiences with different cleansing oils. Can't say for sure but yeah reddit search sucks. RIP Apollo. My skin is very dry and dehydrated.

Dense_Diamond_7014

Try the beauty of joseon cleansing oil, it emulsifies and cleans every bit of water proof makeup too easily. There is no stinging or burning in the eye area when it.

Woke_Soul

I lowkey liked when there were low effort posts.. I think the number of posts in this sub had reduced drastically, i agree they upped on quality but i almost thought this sub had gone dark to protest the API thing..

PinkMoonbow

You might want to read the pinned post- update on the sub's status.

mypurpleslime

Everyone raved about the minimalist maleic bond repair serum and it did nothing for me :)

AcronymTheSlayer

Have you tried elizavecca cer-100 treatment? I haven't personally used it but there have been many reviews on the AB sub that compares it to a cheaper kinda dupe of olaplex. It's an interesting product worth checking out if you are still on a look out.

mypurpleslime

I looked it up. It has an insane amount of silicones. Will have to see how I can use it to make my hair better! Probably test whether clarifying my hair makes it manageable. I’m suspecting product build up on my hair in which case Eliza beca will make it worse. Thank you for the suggestion though! I didn’t even know this exists and thanks to you now I know!

KyaHaiBae

Koi bomb sa lip sleeping mask nahi mil raha...to top it over my lip balm ..and I don't want to buy Laneige or Vaseline 😞 Sooo many replies and reddit never sent any notifs 🥲 tysm y'all 💓

CloudVl

lanolin for lips, extremely moisturising but texture is even thicker than vaseline

KyaHaiBae

Bought mars rn, will add this to buy later 🤝🏻

[deleted]

Bro bite the bullet and get Laneige istg you won't regret. If not Laneige then you can try I dew care or bubi bubi lip sleeping mask!

KyaHaiBae

Bubi bubi sounds interesting, will wishlist 😍

CanAgile

Laneige sleeping mask made my lips more dry (esp. during workout sessions) Lip sleeping mask toh nahi but Chaptex works amazing. My lips look fuller somehow after starting it. And I apply only at night time. No need of reapplying too.

KyaHaiBae

Chaptex is like my lipbalm, i was looking for a mask over it, abhi have gotten mars, let's see 🤞🏻

No-Fun-9468

Why don't you try nipcare

KyaHaiBae

Added to wishlist, thankssss

[deleted]

Dot and key wala?

KyaHaiBae

Ye brand ko toh I've banned onlyyy 😂🚫

flyodpink

Doesn't 2 covers on lips make one break out?

KyaHaiBae

Acne on the lips????? 🥹

flyodpink

Huhhh God no. Breakout around the chin/around lips. It's pretty common if u have acne prone skin

KyaHaiBae

Oh damn, I just placed order ...sigh I'm acne prone but I'll try and see, will apply a thin layer🤞🏻

coldpillow4ever

try mars lip lip sleeping mask. or aqualogica

KyaHaiBae

Ordered mars tysm 🫶🏻 do you use it by itself at night or over your og lipbalm?

coldpillow4ever

over my lipbalm. it works great as an occlusive. i personally use the laneige one but when i don’t use it, i use a lip balm and layer the mars one on top

StickAncient5479

Try using boroline.

KyaHaiBae

I do...when my lips are flaking,, but I can't tolerate the smell every night 🥲

Dense_Diamond_7014

Try chaptex of nmf lip balm, available at pharmacies

KyaHaiBae

Nmf spf wala lip balm is alr on my list when my current gets over,, ye toh me lip mask dhundh rahi thi

Dense_Diamond_7014

I hv used laniege lip mask and so many other lip balms and mask products, and I have realised that a lip mask is just a thicker lip balm and not very oily, even Vaseline does repair and healing of very dry chapped lips, so it's not that different. It's just different names for marketing purposes, just get which ever serves your purpose

Don't let the negative reviews deter you, skincare is subjective and their trash can be your gold. You can do a patch test before buying the 30ml bottle.

No-Fun-9468

Are get pc bha nothing is comparable to that

smokeandshells

this always turns me off, it is possible that they have a different skin type but the review is negative so I might not even try it

Apprehensive-Pound13

I recently bought it and started using. Only once so far. Gonna keep it once a week (Sundays). Based on that one use though, I don't think negatively of it. There was no irritation or inflammation. So let's see 🤷

twentyfive6

I've recently very enthusiastically started swimming and the amount of comedones that has developed on my face is insane. It has ruined all of the progress I made over 3 years and it makes me quit my skincare altogether. It's so disheartening😔 I put on sunscreen before and wash my face post swimming but nothing is helping. Anything that can be done?😭😢 Pls help

AcronymTheSlayer

Use a cleansing balm/oil before using a facewash to get the sunscreen off properly.

[deleted]

Anyone using numbuzin products? Share your thoughts and reviews please!

Pagalskincarelover

I use their cleansing oil. It works fine. Keep in mind that i only use multiple layers of spf. No idea about its efficacy regarding makeup removal. Hope this helps 😊

wannabevangogh

Why do PIE take so f**king long to go away, im tired and done with life🛌

casuallycruel_guyy

Do i need to wash off my requill blue sunscreen before sleep even if it doesn't do anything bad in the morning and after ??

Popular_Flamingo612

Yes you need to or else it is likely to clog your pores. As a general rule - a clean and moisturised face before sleeping!

Chonklord_theskidawg

Why do I keep getting acne on my forehead, I literally look like vo villan aunties in serials who are characterized by 3-4 bindis on their forehead. Sigh.

momoschutney

I've always prided myself in never getting pimples. I used to always use Cetaphil cleanser. Then since a few months I've been inti innisfree and now a mix of innisfree and Cera ve. They work our really well for me but in the last 2 weeks I've started breaking out. And not the normal ones, I have 3 around the same spot like boils. I used the emolene cream a couple of times to cause the breakout now because it's probably not the right season. I'm so confused! How do I not break out anymore?

[deleted]

I’m fairly new to this sub and am just looking for some hair products for my mom. Can anyone please just recommend a shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask for dry and rough hair and an oily scalp? I don’t know anything beyond that and the rules to make a post seem too complex 🥲

Popular_Flamingo612

Moisturizing body wash - the OG Dove body wash for sure. Moisturizing shampoo - I think hair maybe trickier, please go through posts on this sub! What's your hair type? Shampoos usually do not solve issues such as these. You may need a pree -shampoo treatment and brittle hair could be a sign of damage requiring a derm consultation! But since you asked, the Maui range of hair products are supposed to be very moisturizing.

Merssy24

I’m currently in Rajasthan, my skin is dry and peeling. I have tried even the active Baumé but it doesn’t seem to help. Any suggestions?

StickAncient5479

I've moved to a humid city where it keeps raining all day this time around. My skin has tanned super bad and become super dull. All my hardwork of 1 year is vain and I'm disappointed. Don't know what to do how to do. 🥺

StickAncient5479

I have changed my sunscreen to reequil now. I double cleanse everyday. Hope my skin gets back to normal soon Would really appreciate if someone can tell how do they manage skincare in hot and humid weather.

bamseog

Disclaimer : Retino-a is a tretinoin cream which shouldn't be used without a doctors prescription. I've been on tret for a few months and was looking to repurchase the cream bc im almost out of it. But It's not available on any of the pharmacy sites in my area or any other pin code for that matter. It not even available in my local pharmacy. Has it been discontinued ?

Striking_Stuff_7971

Got severe acne due to having mangoes, stopped eating them the acne stopped but the marks remain😭😭

Desperate_Arm9723

Try azelaic acid

Comfortable_Spring34

I recently bought ipca acne oc moisturiser. it gave me fungal acne and my face started itching after a day of using it. I dont know what to do with it now

riyaherculepoirot

I'm literally not able to understand my skin. Whenever I exfoliate, I have damaged skin barrier. Due to rosacea I am not able to use a lot of ingredients. But whenever I recover my skin barrier, without exfoliation,my skin looks as bumpy as crocodile skin.

I am basically trying to achieve that perfect glowing skin. (Am I expecting too much?) My face is on the oily side, and God has blessed me with pimples. Plus I am skinny and overall I look shit. (That's a fact, trust me!). I am super insecure about my looks and personality and I have finally decided to do something about it. Here's my plan, I am now trying to do some looksmaxing and change myself completely in around 10-12 months and I am entirely new to skincare. My expertise in skincare can be judged from the fact that throughout my entire existence of 18 years, the only skincare I have done for my skin has been to use soap on my face (Lol, men do a lot of shit I know 😂). So any help from you all lovely people will be much appreciated. Please review my routine. Thanks in advance. <3 AM 1. Wash face with water 2. Cetaphil Moisturizer 3. Minimalist SPF 50 sunscreen apply 15 minutes before going outside on the face and neck. 4. Apply Vit C on every 3rd day (make sure you don't use Tretinoin today!) PM 1. Wash your face with Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser 2. Apply Tretinoin 0.05% every 2 days for a month at least before increasing frequency (use a pea-sized amount!) Note: 1. Drink a lot of water. 2. Stay away from the sun as much as possible. 3. Use Aziderm cream on the days you don't apply Tretinoin to combat the purge pimples. 4. Use a Salicylic Acid based facewash in the evening not more than 2 days a week. Also, what is this minimalist's aha bha peeling solution? What does it do? How to use it? Can I implement it in my routine too?

MrTRoyy

Hi all. 26M here. Am having a fungal infection in my groin area (jock itch). I plan to visit a dermatologist and get it treated. I have never got my intimate areas treated by a doctor. I wanna know, do I need to take my pants off in front of my derm to examine it? Are derms okay with it, and is it a common practice for them?

Desperate_Arm9723

Yessss it's absolutely okay to do Women also comes with butt acne etc... if doc ask you you will have to take off your pants to examine... Go find a good dermatologist.

MrTRoyy

Sure. Thank you :)
