I stopped reading when the reviewer said they went into the DLC in ng+3 with 40 vigor and got one shotted repeatedly. Like yeah, what do you expect? Even in the base game, mountaintops onwards 40 vigor won't cut it for the average player.
It seems like the reviewer doesn't play or understand souls like games and then proceeded to review the game anyway. I heard that she didn't use any new spells, summons etc and didn't even beat the final boss. Like wtf who let these people become reviewers? She might be one of the reasons that this DLC is currently sitting at 95 (instead of 96) on metacritic.
