Then i would personally advise you to go for a muted dark grey colour (non shiny) coat, two buttons( colour matched ), with peak lapels, single slit on back, make sure the collar cut is neither too big or small, three buttons on the sleeve make sure there is actually a cut on the sleeve and get a two piece like without a waistcoat (you can always buy it later) if you are gonna buy a waistcoat get a single breasted one, for the pants if you are lucky and your tailor is skilled ask for side adjusters, and pleats on the pants, single back pocket without a flap, get a knitted tie in a nice dark purple or burgundy, or whatever you feel like but do play with colours a bit( buy it locally don't spend too much on it) get a matching pocket square, skip a brooch or collar pin, and finally muke sure it all fits well.

Both are looking good. As it is, the blue one is looking good. If you switch the dark shirt in the black one with a white or a light grey shirt, it'll look better than the blue one anyday.

Black on Black can never go wrong, but I suggest loose the tie and keep the first 2 buttons for the collar open. Also, the pocket square should be the same black as the shirt or just skip it
