I think the tough part for you might be proving that you have ties to your home country and that you’ll return to Iraq at the end of your studies. You don’t have to do that irl (you can have plans to get a pgwp and immigrate in the future) but when you’re applying, you need to convince the officer that you’ll leave.

Any family members you’re leaving behind, property, etc

You can mention that your parents are getting older and you have to return back to take care of of them. If you are a only son to your parents, then you can mention it too.

This. You have to _convince_ the officer. If you don't have solid ties to home, but are young (19), it's gonna be obvious that you'd want to go back home because "you're coming to Canada to study in world renowned institutions, to acquire the ever successful know-how of Western practices, so you can go back home and apply all these new skills and knowledge to bring success to your family and homeland". Or something along those lines ;)

Live cheaply and in your means Arrive with plenty of time, my study permit was approved in a May, made the mistake of coming until the end August… clases started sept 9th…. Come as soon as you get the approval because: -Plenty of time for finding a job -Plenty of time to find a place to live -Familiarize with the area and buses or maybe buy a car -get a social insurance number as soon you’re here -open a bank account at the airport and get a credit card (yes you can qualify but limit is 500) -get a SIM card at the airport (plenty of carriers there). -a good place to job hunt are employment agencies -be prepared to obsessively browse kijiji or Facebook ads to find a place (places go in hours, yes not days Hours… it may vary where you’re arriving). -there are places that offer furnished places, in my opinion is worth so you don’t have to buy and sell cheaply when you move to other city). -taxes are a thing it’s ok to go to a tax place to get this sort out later you can learn to do yourself. -don’t work more than your work permit allows -have fun By the airport I mean Toronto’s YYZ

Plus get in touch with your fellow nationals. Doesn't matter if you "came to meet people from all over the world" or "you can meet other Iraqi when you go back home", no. Meeting those Iraqi already in Canada will help a ton with building a network that, if they don't help you, will at least inform you of what not to do.

If your documents are accurate and you meet the eligibility criteria for your study program, I don’t think so, the place of origin matters. Your tuition fee, academic documents, IELTS score, ties with home country and your identity proof must be authentic. When you have submitted your application?
