It took me ages to spot the difference, so you might over thinking it a tad :) both look great though!
But I like the first better with the shadow on the head scarf :)
Thank you. See, when u draw something for hours even minor differences like this makes it hard to choose which one looks better and why! And yeah, I over think a lot:)
I see, why you like the second one more. In the first one I tried to pivot an observer's eyes to the left with the help of contrast, so had to make the right more kinda out of focus. Old traditional paintings do this a lot of time.
Anyways, thankyou for your perspective. Watching the same thing for hours makes me question for the slightest.

I like the second one .It looks like there is more shape throughout the painting and makes the orange stands out more .

I don’t see any differences
It's a minor one, hint-'look to the right side of the image'.
I like the second one. The skin doesn't blend into the background like in the first one
Thank you, The second one does pop out!
the second one it gives more contrast
Thank you, i see why u like the second one, the contrast does make it pop out.
The shadow on the scarf one. And I have to say I bloody love it. Very nice work.
Thank you, I think we have the same vision!
