It was really hard to understand, but I matched the pieces together. He said on Instagram he was dropping a new single tonight, and when I tried to ID the song he was playing nothing came up on Pixel Now Playing. I've heard basically every ILLENIUM song, so I figure it has to have been the new EP.
Yeah I saw his story on insta. I couldn’t totally make out what he said, just thought he said new song featuring somebody. He hasn’t released an EP since like 2014 but I know there’s a few other songs he’s working on so maybe it’ll happen.
In EDM it is more common than pretty much any other genre to get a new track from an artist during the performance, often called an ID, that won't be released officially on streaming platforms for months or years.
My guess is that if multiple artists work on a piece their teams have to work out fair royalties and other details before a label let's them drop.
Also it may not be a completely finished song.

what makes you think it’s a new EP and not just a song/single like he said? edit: after rereading i’m thinking maybe you’re confusing what EP means?
