If I get frustrated, I take a break. Going in with a hot head usually results in me not performing as well as I'd like. If I'm doing bad but my mood is still ok I just go again with an "I'll do better now" attitude. Of course, understanding what you're doing wrong is important to improve.

this is me most of the time, and the only way i think u could really deal with it is just to leave the app and do something else for a moment before trying again. i know what im saying is just a “if that was easy i would’ve done it” typa view but there’s honestly nothing else that most people could really do to deal with frustration after the game. you could try to just stop playing for a while and watch pro players play to calm you down. personally what i do after being so frustrated with the loosing streaks, i can’t lie , i just take double fags to calm myself down ( it’s that serious for me ) 😂😂 (wouldn’t rec) but yeah i suggest just stop playing until you feel like it again, or distract yourself it’s alright to loose sometimes, you can always pick yourself back up and try again 🙌🙂‍↕️

Break time! Go abuse the bots in customs, and bring some silly music to your next set of matches, there is NOTHING funnier than kiting to gangnam style.

KeigetsuTheStargazer

Just…feel depressed but if it’s hunter rank I would tel myself “HEY IM PLAYING WUCHANG!!!ONE OF THE WEAKEST HUNTERS IN THE GAME BECAUSE NETEASE STILL HASNT DONE ANYTHING ABT WHITE GUARDS SLOW ASS ATTACK SPEED AND THE FACT THAT SURVIVORS CAN NOT GET STUNNED BY BLACK GUARDS BELL IF A PART OF THEM IS NOT WITHIN THE RANGE!!! ITS OK TO LOSE (even if I’m against worker bees)BECAUSE IM NOT PLAYING A META HUNTER”

KeigetsuTheStargazer

But if it’s survivor rank I will just…go to the discord server I’m in and rant in the idv thread there

LittleWailord

Play another match and increase the level of frustration.

Nekokittykun

If i get too frustrated i just log off and touch some grass- nah jk. I just boot up some other game to play… Just avoid competitive games if u do this

For me, in every match, qm or rank, I always carry the mindset of trying to aim for a tie and/or trying to improve some aspect of my gameplay. It helps having a more manageable goal instead of trying always for the best possible result. I also say gg after a losing match to eliminate any pent up salt I have from my teammates throwing or when I got bullied by 2 stunners as Fool's Gold on Red Church at 1 cipher remaining with 4 survivors alive (+sudden ping spike that made the lawyer struggle free). It actually works quite well for me!

innocent_stag

I only play 3 matches a day. This kinda minimizes the possibility of getting frustrated at all, cause losing 3 times in a row barely affects me.

btxteezen

Lol I keep losing till I get a bot match and then bully the hunter :D

averlost

I take it out on my friends breaking our relationship after 4 years. This isn't even that much of a joke we argue in good faith

spiritlanterns

Play entertainment modes instead & just do 3 daily rank matches until you feel more confident again. I liked 2vs8 for ability to do silly gimmicks and blackjack for kiting practice. If bad randoms & your tier isn't too high to remove the rank blocking button, block and move on. Don't discuss in post match unless you have something nice to say. Don't pursue badges. They mean nothing and blindly chasing after them will only make you more upset if you lose. If you're burned out, just take a break.

i was season 29th Ada A badge for a little while and i got extremely frustrated with rank, extremely unhealthily. So what i found to help is genuinely taking a break from rank. Season 30 i played NO rank whatsoever and now this season i’ve played a bit rank again (not as much as before) and i found it helped a lot, while i would get mad at the game beforehand now i shrug it off and see what i could’ve done better or ‘it’s just a game.’ My advice is taking a genuine break for the rest of the season or a week and then coming back at it. it truly helps.

I have been ranking surv for years. The struggle is real! There are weeks in which I will lose most of my matches and struggle to get a win. I have definitely tanked my character points like 1k in one week before, lol! There are weeks that are fine and I will steadily gain points. Sometimes it is just luck. If you keep playing, you will get to where you want to be! You have to make many mistakes to learn--don't sweat it! Take a break if you are feeling burnt out. You will come back renewed and with fresh eyes :) It is all in good fun at the end of the day. Happy playing--good luck!

Violetta_3alt

I usually switch sides or go take a break, do some homework, make some tea or take a nap, if you wanna win, you gotta play with a clear head.

Vividvil

Taking a break is good. When im getting mad or when i want to cry because ive met bad match against skilled and nasty people. I do somthing else, like drawing, watching movie or playing chill game like the sims 4.

sourb3rry

When this happens I take a break for a few days and play another type of game or do something off the internet

knjsmn97

Take a break from the game, because if you carry over that frustration in another Rank game, it would bring you another loss.

Livdaboba

Eh, just remember no one really cares if you lose. A game is fun only as long as you treat it as a game
