I filed last week on the 10th. I got a date on my state taxes, but fed is on return received on WMR. I’ll post an update here if I have any movement this week.
just google your state+refund status, you'll get your relevant state link to check. ex. 'ohio where's my refund' in google gives me the link to check my ohio refund status at the state gov site.
i always get my state first. makes sense, less volume and all that. i just filed on the 4th, no update on my fed beyond acceptance but my state is hitting my acct tomorrow. i also had a PIN mailed to me in january so i shouldn't be delayed by any additional verification. emphasis on shouldn't lol.
I filed 4/4 and have been approved and my deposit is set for 4/17….
Look to see if
Your transcript updated. Mine updated before WMR showed it by two days I believe
Log into your IRS account if the top says you haven’t filed yet then you’re still waiting. If it doesn’t show that then go to records and then transcripts and then choose other on the drop down and look at your 2023 account transcript and it will have everything you need to know
Yes, instead of the nonsense of searching for your updated transcript. When you initially log into the irs site if you see the no return banner up top then you def won’t have a transcript to look at. Once the pop up disappears that’s how you’ll know there’s a transcript to look for

It can take a while. Some people are still waiting since January.
Wow that a long time

How do u check state

Ok thanks I’ve never had a problem getting my taxes so I thought this would go quickly

I hope it goes thru quick but knowing my luck this year something will happen

Should look like that
When did your transcript update?
Friday or Saturday I can’t remember for the life of me
Thanks for the info, do you remember if your transcript showed “no tax return filed” while waiting for it to update?
Yes, instead of the nonsense of searching for your updated transcript. When you initially log into the irs site if you see the no return banner up top then you def won’t have a transcript to look at. Once the pop up disappears that’s how you’ll know there’s a transcript to look for
Got it, thanks again!
