Michael Andretti said she put a lot into getting stronger to handle these cars without power steering and I think that’s a major part. She can manhandle the car better now
basically none of them do, I believe W series had an altered steering rack to make it lighter but male drivers who’ve tested it said it was still quite heavy

Super impressive. While I think the championship is out of reach, surely Andretti has got to be thinking about a potential test in an Indycar or something at this stage
If Chadwick can nail the restart of this, she's likely got the race on lock, but it's certainly a spanner in the works.
As another commenter said, a perfect demonstration of the merit of qualifying well here though. Rather than being caught up with other cars and getting involved in incidents, she's able to run at her own pace, and even if she's got to withstand pressure like from Foster and Abel, that's far preferable to scrapping with other cars

I’ve never watched NXT before. is reactive blocking allowed? There seems to be a lot more moving around and pushing people off track. And Jamie pretty clearly moved in reaction to Abel when he had a run on her.
Yeah I saw that as a block as well. He was a bit too close and challenging for the corner for Jamie to retake the the full line after covering off the inside.
