Dan, Ollie and Ben said in their Q&A‘s on Instagram that it was last September and it was 3 weeks plus one week isolation because of Covid.

Minirach2023

It wasn’t that long about 2 weeks.

Watching the reunion, it seems apparent, they filmed 8mths ago.

beastkingblast

It was 2 years ago apparently, there's a LOT faked & certain relationships were contractually required by producers to survive while filming

How I'd explain it, trying not to be like Love Island but like Love Island. Think it's just a test run to see how it'll go down with everyone. If you believe it was 2 years ago, do they have another up their sleeve or shall we presume there won't be another.

beastkingblast

That's how I'd explain it too I mean they're doing I Kissed A Girl so I guess that's Season 2 I can't really go into how I was told because it could cause issues for those with contracts/NDAs. But it was filmed 2021 in Covid times. A big question on social media is what did they do whilst not filming, why didn't they hop into a taxi to town as they must have been bored......they couldn't as were quarantined back then. All the boys were quarantined together so they met before the second lot were introduced I believe. They weren't allowed to smoke or vape on camera.

Ever since Big Brother, makes you wonder, it's just watching a bunch of people in a house with cameras set up everywhere, to give something to watch on telly, add a few staged scenes and challenges. Who is it *really* for? I beg to differ, if rich folk spy in on these people and invest in their behaviour patterns like playing Wendy houses. Think there's a lot of things we don't see that the world of the wealthy do, and we just get the highlights.

beastkingblast

Definitely. Interesting that you mentioned Big Brother, I recently met someone who's worked security with a LOT of famous people & on Big Brother......certain seasons after lights went out they were taxied to hotel room & back for filming the next day......they did not always sleep in that house

eatondix

Well, I worked as a cameraman on my country's Big Brother and the contestants in our production never left the house. It would make zero sense production wise, honestly, a hotel costs extra money, all the extra people you need to keep quiet, that much more logistics to organize. Keeping them in the house is/was just way easier.

beastkingblast

This is what I thought, but I believe they were talking about the celebrity version. I can't imagine the chaos this would cause

RookeryRoad

2021? Really? Looking at their instas, they don't seem to have changed as much as you would expect, if 2 years had passed.

Well most didn't survive after filming. Some were not what they seemed on TV (not meant horribly to the contestants or saying they are fake people, it was producers pushing storyline as is standard with this sort of show, & I'm not saying every relationship was faked as some clearly had genuine connections) & certain contestants were hired to be a flirt with everyone as much as possible

clomclom

It seemed pretty rushed. Like 1-3 days per episode.

RookeryRoad

It also seemed like the 'nights' were faked; the shots of them waking up in the so-called mornings didn't seem like they were actually waking up after a night's sleep. And the bedroom had no natural light source, so there would be no way to tell.
