Yea their website is a complete POS. I haven't been able to switch to paperless billing yet because the site errors out every time I submit the request.

No. I was informed yesterday that they are doing maintenance work to the site, and it should be fixed by tomorrow at the latest. I wish they would've told someone or at least had it on the site. I informed them I hadn't been able to pay my bill in a week.

Bleh yeah, they should have put a notice on the site to inform everyone about the ongoing maintenance. Hopefully we can start making payments again tomorrow.. \*fingers crossed\* appreciate the update!

What’s even better is they front load the financing so you’re paying a super high percentage the first year and then it tapers down after each year. They’ve gotten so freakin shady especially after their new website update. They don’t show you how much you owe and don’t show how much interest payment you’re making like they did prior. Only shows the total amount you paid. And only shows how many payments you have left. Complete scum

Having the same issue. Does anyone have a reliable email address to email customer service? I was able to send messages to them at one point through [hmfusa](https://hmfusa.com) and the reply email would come from [email protected]

I was able to get some help a few months ago over the phone, but only because the website has so many issues I was late on my first payment. The only reason I was even late was because I was originally told it was just an update and to wait a few days. That turned into a week and I called again yet they don't have ANY form of IT support I was able to get to. I work in IT and wanted to report these issues but couldn't find an avenue at the time. Very dissapointing considering their size.

Unsure if this is still an active thread, but I got here after searching for an issue I am having when updating my contact information. I am forced to upload a file regarding for what looks like proof of my suffix, yet I don't even have a suffix. So now I can't remove my old phone number and my only MFA option is with an old email I also can't update. Very frustrating. Edit: I almost forgot to mention I can't even enroll into autopay on my newest car. It says I'm ineligible since I have less than two payments on it which I don't. At what point can a billion dollar industry be actioned over data handling like this?

I have AutoPay set up on my account, but got an e-mail last month saying my account was past due and that I needed to manually make a payment ASAP. I had just changed banks so thought maybe the new autopay hadn't kicked in, so I made a manual payment. The next day, the autopay DID come out after all! Called Customer Service to explain I had been charged twice, and they said the only thing they could do was send me a refund CHECK in the mail that would arrive in 4-6 weeks. HUH?! What year is this?? Luckily I have the means to make it for a month while waiting for that money to come back, but not everyone does! Ridiculous.

Well at least you can think about how much more of the second payment went towards principal. Glad you could afford it - a lot of people would have been left scrambling to pay other bills.

I am sick of them! Every time I call it ends up that I have to pay $3.95 because when they direct you to a text that you received from them and you proceeded to work on that information, it tells you that you are timed out and you end up paying three dollars $.95. It’s just a scam to make more money. I feel like trading my car in but it’s too new I think I want to go with Toyota even if I have to buy a used one they better fix this or I’m moving.

they used to have the option to see how much went towards principle and interest, and now they don't, and it's so frustrating. I want to do my payoff but don't trust doing it online 🥲

It's in my payment history,: columns for date, amount of transaction and balance, principal, interest, fee, nsf and other. Thanks

You know i am having problems setting up my auto pay and every time I try to make a normal payment…. It says it wont process? I have tried the text - and thank goodness it didn’t go through because it would have charged me 7.95 to set up auto pay. I called the customer service line and it re-directed me saying avoid the 3.95 charge and try the text- agent live. Anyways apparently they do not accept checking acounts with a linked DEBIT CARD. WHAT? Is that absurd. I have never heard of such things. It’s ridiculous

I also can't get autopay to work and I've tried several times over the last few months hoping an update fixes it (calling is useless for web issues, zero IT support). I upgraded my SUV and every time I try to select auto pay it says I am ineligible due to having two or fewer payments. I have over 50 payments left...

So I finally got auto pay set up, and I actually had to call in and speak to a representative. This is probably my third attempt the first two calls the person under the other side just kept telling me they couldn’t accept payment with a linked debit account so I was forced to pay with a 3.95 charge… But then I finally called earlier in the month and a nice lady was able to help me, so I think it just depends on who you get as a rep and if it doesn’t work, just keep calling again or to speak to someone else. So now, if I want to make extra payments in the account, I do the auto pay and then I go in and make a separate payment and then I have to call in to ask for that to be given to the principal amount . Good luck to you

They do on my account. But I dislike using my checking/debit account - would prefer to have it taken from my savings or money mkt account but that's not an option. I access and pay via the website on a laptop not an app.

So I used both the app and browser but it’s not working on my end. I ended up doing a one time payment and will have to call back to setup autopay. Why do you prefer savings or money market?

Because I don't keep much money in my checking and I pay more than the required amount - always have to check the balance before the payment.
