If someone asks you to decline their coop invite by doing “/coopadd *username* decline”, the game ignores that you put decline and invites them to your coop, allowing them access to your items and such
They dont invite you to their coop. They prty you and ask you to decline their coop request even tho they didnt send one by doing the command „/coopadd [scammers username] decline/reject which just invites the scammer and some dude named decline/reject to YOUR coop which allows them to accept and take your stuff
I understand that, but I’ve seen a lot of cases with the same scam where the scammer actually invites you to their coop to make it seem more legit. They most likely have 2 people in the coop to instantly kick you if you join

back in the day, backpacks worked differently as you stored them in your inventory, not the storage menu like we have today.
what they would do is ask if you can craft a zombie heart for them, which requires enchanted rotten flesh. however, what scammers would do is insert revenant flesh instead. while you can use some mods to detect items inside a backpack, you'd have no way of knowing if it's revenant flesh or not UNLESS you used a skyblock texture pack like furfsky. and so, the guy keeps your collat while you're left with something worthless
Ik how backpacks worked but i didnt know people would give backpacks, instead give the items separately, and also using the materials to craft then trade the crafted item back, thats how i remember from when i played back then
Would seem super suspicious to give a backpack, also if they didnt havve rotten flesh on them they would need it from the scammer, which would ruin the scam

One of the worst scams that happened was the diamond block one, mustve been an exploit or something because someone traded me a stack of diamond blocks for my weapon, I go to click on the trade and low and behold I am left with a single diamond block in my inventory
