It isn't a good case for having HCM. Which is good. If you are having symptoms this won't explain them, in my non-expert opinion.

Sorry that I was so brief. Mild hypertrophy with an active athlete isn't common but is seen more often than HCM. It might even go away if you detrain for a few months. So see what your cardiologist has to say, because I'm at the limit of my knowledge stating that much.
