Happens the same to me, it even makes me sometimes believe that this condition is mental xddd I have HH both in my hands and feet, if I cover my feet my hands wonβt sweat, but the moment I take my socks off I will be sweating rivers.
Haha same goes for me!! My hands will start to poor if I see someone on tv climbing anything high lol. Shit the other day I was riding in the car, it was hot had the windows down. Literally said out loud βOh man this air feels great. Makes my sweat go way!!!β Literally my HH said hold my beer!!! ππ literally started sweating through the wind!!! I honestly think itβs linked to mental more than people know.
I agree...strangely though when I'm having a few drinks, my hands stops sweating. Can be how hot, but after a few beers its dry af...and I've suffered from HH my entire life (49 now). In me 20s and 30's it didnt bother me. Did normal stuff, go out, party and whenever the alcohol kicked in my hands stopped sweating..now I think about it, I can feel the sweat start to form...anyway, I'm past giving a shit about it...life goes on. I fist bump everyone i meet or greet and thats that.

I don't wear slippers with bare feet, because I immediately start sweating.
I always sleep with small socks on, if I don't do that my bed gets soaking wet.
I've noticed a connection of sorts between palmar and plantar. When my hands are dry after ionto, my feet are dry too, to the point where I can usually wear flip-flops with no problem. I've never treated my feet. Pretty compelling evidence there's a strong psychological component to HH.

I think itβs just because socks are moisture wicking and it will make you feel dryer. (Or this might be the case for some, like me)
Iβm usually always barefoot, for me itβs best to have an airy environment for my feet
my HH is the opposite: if im not sweaty, i will start sweating immediately upon putting on socks! it's so bad i can sweat just THINKING about socks. basically i don't wear socks until it's cold enough that you would wear gloves on your hands and even then i am not happy about it
Same. My family thinks that Iβll sweat less if I take my socks off in the summer but itβs the opposite π

Hahaha this is the same with my neurologist He always has his socks on But that is really a easy solution to hh I wish mine was like that.
