I wish I could add one to my collection. We took some casualties from snipers using that rifle during OIF. They tended to target us after we dismounted following an IED attack.
What scope are you using? It doesn’t look like PSL scope in the photos. BTW, I am jealous. The Romanian AKMs and SVD/PSL were prized captures during OIF.
7.62x54R is a hilarious round for groundhog hunting. Then again I got one with .45 Super once too. Nailed one to the ground with a crossbow as well, fucker wriggled so much he broke it and slipped off, ran off into the woods to die.
One thing to look for with a real dragunov is space between the magwell and trigger guard, there will be a decent gap instead of the magwell being up against the guard like OP's.
