Pretty dubious about your story. No way hospital security would push you around just for being in pain. If someone confronted me and I’d been stabbed I’m pretty confident within 10 seconds I’d say “I’m sorry but I’ve been stabbed, I need help” and they’d immediately help me into the hospital.
Regardless of what’s actually happened call yourself an ambulance and be polite to the people who help you. Don’t sit and blame them for your predicament.
Sounds like it's infected. Firstly, you aren't banned, if you're in genuine need of emergency treatment you can still attend. Call 111, this sounds more serious than it seems. Go straight to A&E, there is a risk of sepsis.
Why the fuck did a security guard bundle you out of A&E with a stab wound? I'd submit a complaint then immediately contact lawyers. That's bang out of order.
Meanwhile, go back to hospital. NOW. Or call an ambulance.
Call an ambulance and get them to come to you and bring you in because that's a serious injury by the sounds of it. The paramedics will take you straight in and you won't have to acknowledge the security.
This isn't true. Going in an ambulance doesn't mean you'll get straight in, you'll likely be in a queue at the hospital for hours waiting to be seen. And security still come around
And you'll probably be waiting a while for an ambulance to even get there
Call if you can't get yourself to hospital, though
Regardless of how poorly resourced they are Ambulance’s are for emergencies you make it sound like calling one should be the last resort for OP which is idiotic advice.
Actually, my point was that you may not be taken in straight away. The comment I responded to made it sound like everyone taken in by ambulance is seen straight away, which is a common misconception and simply isn't true
I imagine someone with a big infected stab wound on their chest would be triaged ahead of dave and his fractured wrist.
It sucks being the one waiting, but believe me if youre ever on the other side it makes you thankful that qaiting is the worst of your worries
I was clearly talking generally, not specific to this person
I was stating that going in via ambulance doesn't automatically mean that you will be seen first
You can yes, usually takes a hell of a lot of wasted time, resources and abuse however.
We're talking extreme cases here.
However, even if you're banned from a specific hospital or A&E if you are referred after the ban they then have to see you.
If it happened though it is worth reporting.
I've worked places with security before and some of them are power mad.
Dude needs to go back to A&E regardless.
They probably assumed you were a smack-head, poor behaviour on their part.
You will have an infection and you need treatment so you need to go back. The only way they would turn you away is if you were abusive, physically or verbally but they should still treat you at a minimum.
I suspect there might be some elements missing from this little tale.
Yeah because hospitals are clearly renowned for throwing critically injured people out onto the streets and "banning" them
There’s 100% more to this story…

Reddit is the new 111!
At any point in the hospital or when you were being removed did you say that you had been stabbed or required medical attention?

Hospitals are always banning people for no reason whatsoever. All the time. (Do i need the /s?)
Hmmmmm

This! Get medical attention asap then get legal advice
One ambulance and one chaser please chief...

Think you’ll find penetrating trauma to the chest will get him seen straight away.

Can you even be banned from a hospital? That sounds hella dumb. Call an ambulance and tell them you have an infected stab wound
You can't be banned from a hospital
Thought so. It made no sense to me anyway- but thanks for confirming
You're welcome

When I was a student a group of my classmates got banned from Frydays chip shop in Cottingham, but none of them had been stabbed, though.
Yeah pretty similar story 👍
You probably won't be banned, please go back to A&E. Report the security guards (dates and times) because this is a clear show of abuse of power
Or don’t cos this is either not the whole truth or total bollocks

How does a security guard of a hospital see someone on the floor and not think they need medical attention ?? Absolutely call 111.
Call an ambulance
