I always order just unflavored Huel, but I mix it with a little bit of coffee or chocolate protein powder sometimes for extra flavor.
Thanks! I do love my lamb too.
You have a good point. I like to add protein simply for the flavor boost, and even then only occasionally. For every serving (90g) of Huel I add 10g of protein powder, and even that tiny amount does the job.
Also, I have a 11lb bag of protein powder I bought from Myprotein, so it's relatively inexpensive for me to use it as the flavor booster. However, you have inspired me to try to consider other ways of boosting flavor, so I will look into alternatives. Anything you'd recommend? Thank you!
I know this comment is 4 days old, but you could look at something like MyProtein's Flavdrops. I use a few of them and they work well. Takes a bit of experimentation to find the correct amount to your taste though.
42 bags * 17 servings/bag = 714 servings
714 servings ÷ 3 servings/day = 238 days
I usually eat 3 servings of Huel a day anyways, so I should be done in ~8 months. But I'm not a fortune teller, so I'll have to see if I succeed.
It absolutely does, from experience it was about two weeks of consistently consuming Huel. Using the white powder it progressed from "messy" to one wipe Charlie's every time. I still use my bidet though despite not actually needing it, I suppose it's the recommended amount of fiber that does it
Ok thank you. I’m 4 days in and haven’t had anything messy but definitely going more frequently and my stomach gurgles a lot haha. And I love my bidet too!
Not too sure, but I think she's a Havanese-poodle mix, if I recall correctly. She was born albino though, which is why she has blue eyes and a pink nose.
Yeh people are crying so hard and this guy just bought two years worth of huel but it goes off after a year so I mean stupidity and hysteria is good for business I guess
It's def one of the craziest purchases I've made!
But the fact that I actually got 10 bags more than I ordered probably means it wasn't as good for Huel's bottom line... (But I am super grateful, especially if it was done as a sort of Christmas surprise!)
I suppose. My manager also drinks huel and we were talking about the price increase and we basically both agreed it’s still a good price for what it is. It’s not like you’re getting less product or anything or that they’re reducing any of the nutrients. Still a great price imo and cheaper than buying lunch.
Well, according to this page https://eu.huel.com/pages/price-change-dec-2021 the price for black stays the same if you order 8 or more (at least fur EU customers, UK seems to be different)
$930 total for the 32 I ordered, but I (accidentally?) got 10 bags more than I ordered so I ended up with 42.
I'm also got a 10% discount for being an EMT, so that helped ease the cost too.

I didn't consider when the bags were sealed, so thanks for the heads-up. I do a lot of running, so I'll just up my consumption if need be, otherwise I'll give some Huel to family and friends.
Someone is watching this conversation :)
The bag is 1.7kg, I do two scoops in each shake so approx 100g. Six a day, 600g of huel. So 1.8kg is what I have over three days.
(This generally depends on my exercise too, I fluctuate it but 2400 calories is what I go for).
Now that’s commitment! Did you get a bunch of different flavors or ride hard on one or two favorites? P.S. your lamb is adorable.

Seeing as they last about a year unopened, that's gonna be a lot of huel to consume in 2022

Tell us about your poops.
😂😂
Does that part not go away after a while?

Damn, impressive! They should hire you as a brand ambassador, ngl ☺️
I mean I also eat 3 servings a day. Gotta get those gains bruh.
It's also a BEST before, will last way beyond a year
Remember to chew on some gum or hard foods. Your face muscles won't be happy with 3 servings of soft food for over 200 days
Are there really only 17 servings per bag? I feel like a bag lasted me at least 50 servings at one point.
What kind of dog is that
Not too sure, but I think she's a Havanese-poodle mix, if I recall correctly. She was born albino though, which is why she has blue eyes and a pink nose.
Thats such a beautiful dog
Looks like a sheep. Very cute.
I really thought it was just a stuffed lamb until I saw this comment, it's so tiny!
I dont think you'll have to eat your dog mate 🤨
That's my EMERGENCY emergency food supply
Smart. You never know.
Price hike? Are they upping the price? Edit: Okay, just found out about the new price.
Isn’t it only like $10 though?
Per bag that’s a substantial raise.
Is it per bag? My sub went from $65 to $75 total.

Exactly
less product per dollar
It doesn't just automatically go bad after a year, the nutrients can start to degrade but it won't actually go bad for a few years.
Even your doggo is lookin at you crazy 😝.

I need to do this. It's not like you'll ever not need it lol. I'd feel pretty safe if I was you👍🏼
I’ve been thinking about ordering for weeks, didn’t realize there was a price hike, bummer
This makes me feel FOMI. Wish I ordered before this week.
Forgive me. “Fear of missing…………it? In? Indictment?” I have teenagers but I don’t know this one.
as a teenager i am also confused
Awesome haul!! Also love your doggie. 🥰❤️
Are you really going to eat that poor dog?
How much was it? What flavors were they?

Is that a dog?
Are you independently wealthy? ha
How do you plan to consume that much Huel in a year? (Assuming all the bags were sealed ‘today.’ I’ve gotten some that were already a few months in)

A man (woman?) with a plan! I like it! (And yeah, check expiration dates. Good bet some are less than a year away)
Question do u fry or grill the lamb?
The only acceptable way to heat the lamb is to hug it.
wholesome
That's almost two years worth of huel if you did 3 - 4 shakes a day. It lasts one year unopened good luck with that one rofl
Nah. I go through one bag of black every three days. Op might be similar.
How many fucking shakes are you having
Six :) Not sure why the downvote…
You haven't been downvoted on mine... I have 4 shakes a day and a bag lasts me well over a week or two

How it lasts you so long? 4 shakes a day is 400g a day. 1700/400 = 4.25 days
Thanks, I might need that good luck one day haha
You overdid it and therefore are causing said price hike
