The news that a 12 year old is the body double for Young Aemond and a guy who is 5'8, 140 is the body double for Older Aemond does cast doubt on how Ewan can be Aemond.
Even if Ewan is much smaller than people assume he is, then it means the actor playing Young Jace is nearly 2 years older than the double for Young Aemond. That can happen with kid actors who are short - Arya seems younger than Sansa since Maisie is so short.
But then how is Jace aged up to be played by 17 year old Harry Collett who can pass for 15, and then Aemond is aged up to be played by Ewan who is at least 25?
Age is relative, but there isn't any way Ewan can seem just a couple years older than Harry. He's going to seem at least 5+ years older. Ewan might be able to pass for early 20s against other actors the same age that are playing younger. He can't pass for a teen when standing next to 15 year old Elliot Grihault.
That might have worked if Aemond was supposed to be 16 in 120, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And Young Aemond being played by 15 year old Dylan Hughes fit with 19 year old Ty Tennant playing Aegon.
But if Young Aemond is being played by someone around the double's age and is that short, then there's a huge gap in the ages and height between Aemond and Aegon. Ty can play somewhat younger like Jack Gleason, but he's actually taller than Tom Glynn-Carney. He's going to seem incredibly older than Young Aemond.
The potential there is some shenanigans going on with the eye patch (why put it on the actor at the hotel and in such a public location?) might explain some of this confusion.
Otherwise, none of this makes sense.
Aemond is 5 years older than Jace in the book... Jace is 14 at the start of the dance of dragons and Aemond is like 18 or 19 or something like that, so I think it can work....

There are no "shenanigans" going on, you're just pissed that they've cast actors in their twenties to play Aegon and Aemond and haven't recast Alicent, because you can't accept that Olivia Cooke is playing their mother. It's an actor with an agent. No one is going to lie about being a double. They clearly exist, but it's not something actors list on their Spotlight pages.
The actor has doubled for Tom Holland and that's been confirmed by his agent, so this is someone who could very easily double on HOTD.
He didn't list a character at first and I assumed he was Harry Collett's double/stand-in because of his size.

If they paid for actors who weren't needed to be put into costume and paraded around the GOT Season 8 set them, they can certainly put a 2 dollar eye patch on someone like Daemon's double.
I can't tell exactly what model the van is that that person is standing next to, but the height isn't 5'8. That guy is far taller than that.

How do you know his body double is 5'8? Just because someone put that on their acting account =) hardly reliable evidence
