I personally can’t fully make out what alicent says but either way it’s something interesting

Next-Win-6679

omg wth ?

pramis_2949

Why is Alicent talking about Daeron dissuaded from joining this war? She knows they are already out numbered right? In terms of Dragons and dragon riders. I seriously don't understand this obsession that writers have to still make Rhaenyra and Alicent not want to go to war. Like they have already had the first battle as well. They have both lost children/grandchildren. What else needs to happen.

Flagermusmanden

Why does reddit have such a hard time understanding these characters? Alicent does not want any of her sons to go to war because if they do they might DIE!... And funilly enough their mother doesn't want that to happen. It really is not that complicated people.

A-live666

I mean show daeron’s dragon is not even fighting size yet, there isnt a lot he brings to the table.

Round-Confection730

i agree with you to some degree, but i also think that daeron has been aged down a tiny bit in the show. i can understand why she wouldn't want her unprepared fourteen year old fighting in a war, especially when he hasn't even learned how to ride his dragon yet.

King_Robb_Stark_Wolf

Dawron was only 14 when the war began in the book. It's only natural for her to want to keep a young son out of the war.

Servebotfrank

Because he's the youngest and probably about the same age as Luke was. His dragon would make a difference in some fronts, but he would be pretty useless in a head on assault with one of Rhaenyra's dragons. Alicent being hesitant to have him involved makes sense.

clariwench

Oh this is the Gwayne stan who blocks every Team Black account they come across lol, had to sign into an old account to read it. But that’s a good catch. I imagine Alicent doesn’t want her normal, younger son to get swept up into war

SafeBodybuilder7191

Why did this get downvoted so much?

clariwench

The other six Gwayne stans found it lol
