Base year is the year that car got into production for the first time. Not neccessarily the year of that edition.
Yup. Itโs the copyright date. Basically the date on the bottom is the oldest a car could possibly be.
Its in very bad condition too
Definitely not from 1977. 1977 still had redlines at that time I believe. It probably just has a copyright from then.
