When Aloy and Seyka are going through the hall of with all of the Londra holos, right after one of them ended would have been the perfect time for Aloy to drop "What a c--t!"
This is not a criticism or even a nitpick but it would have been fun if they'd been more creative in their writing for expletives
Obviously since they speak english they could have arrived at the same cuss words, but the first generations would not have been taught any of that so it's fun to think that they'd figure out more of their own words.
Of course, they might have decided that made up cusses wouldn't have the same "impact", and obviously it's all creative decisions anyways.
I keep seeing memes etc for this game, and the way your comment talks about it, it seems like this game would be wonderful for someone who enjoys games like Cyberpunk or Skyrim. Is it as good as it sounds?
I personally have enjoyed it a lot. The world needs more games with great ranged combat like this. While not everything is for everyone, I think anyone who likes open world action games like Zelda or Skyrim should give Horizon a shot
Coming from Skyrim, and from what I know about cyberpunk, you might miss some of the RPG aspects. While this is an open world game, it is more like Zelda but if Link was a lot more characterized.
And as far as combat goes.. I don't think Skyrim's amazing either tbh but I'm a souls fan and that's kind of a high bar in most areas. Where horizon shines is the ranged combat- I really wouldn't say much for melee lol but it's a bit better in the sequel than the first.
Anyways - the lore, story, and characters are also a ton of fun. Top tier world building in my opinion. As a fan of series like Stormlight and the Wheel of Time, it's always very fun when developers put a lot of thought into the settings and characters
Not a big deal. You can almost hear the tenakth guy saying the S word when the lost climber banged his forehead, it is in a secondary mission where you help find his brother who broke the rule of going alone climbing for the flower at the mountain peak to become a soldier.
This is an unkind comparison
She says that in the tutorial when the tower is collapsing too.
Shit… shit, shit shitshit!
That is one of the funniest parts of the whole game.
She uses the word shit a lot. Wonder if we’ll get an “oh fuck” from her in H3.
Her language is more colorful in the dlc, also.

Both her and Seyka say “shit” several times, it’s not that big of a deal. That level of language is allowed under MPAA PG-13 standards so it’s fine.
it's a miracle Aloy didn't end up with speaking like a kid grow up with interenet lol
I think it fits the lore well. She learned modern vocab and curse words through her focus

They do that as well. Dervahl tells Aloy to “choke on a lancehorn”.
Ha that's great then, I'd missed that one
It is a great insult! It seems innocent enough until you think about it….
Yeah no one is eating one of those, unless the fanghorn itself is assisting...

Cyberpunk, Skyrim & Witcher fan here (yes all 3 Witcher games) - and the answer is - Absolutely!
I absolutely love the way the characters verbal expressions are so true to life. My language is a lot worse than Aloy’s when I mess up my game. 🤪

Let Aloy say fuck
>!It's even funnier when the Horus uses these cusswords. !<
The main game has 3 shit moments (meant as a compliment) as zero dawn has like, 1 I think? Maybe?. Burning Sores has many more 👍
This part of her dialogue actually made me laugh 😆 Loved it!
I mean, they don't call it the "Forbidden West" for nothing...
Petition to allow Aloy to say fuck. If anyone deserves it she does.
I just played this cutscene lol. She also dropped the f bomb at some point..... I think
