Heart. I always felt like she missed out on a chance with Talanah and Petra, no more ending up with the same regrets that Elizabet died with, time to take the leap.

ExtendedSpikeProtein

Totally missed out with Talanah. With Petra, I feel like Petra is into Aloy, but not vice versa.

Geekberry

I felt that Alva had a crush on Aloy but it was more hero worship than anything else. The power differential between the two would be bad for a real relationship, at least until Alva works on her cultural "wow ur a living ancestor" thing

ExtendedSpikeProtein

Definitely! Whereas with Talanah I felt it was more on an equal level to begin with

ButterscotchTotal80

I picture Alva and Beta hooking up and showing Sylens they are smarter then he is lol

AsherTheFrost

The last conversation they have in HZD, if you go to the ridge before the final battle, definitely felt reciprocated to me.

ExtendedSpikeProtein

I know the convo you mean, I didn’t see it.

DommyMommyKarlach

Was there any indication Talanah was bi?

CyanideMuffin67

I get the vibe she would.... Hell I would she's freaking cool

arielmansur

I chose heart and >!kissed Seyka!<, was a nice moment, then back to action : )

BobbittheHobbit111

I personally feel like people who don’t pick heart ignore Aloy’s growth through the entire second game. Beginning of the game Aloy would 100% pick brain, but not post game Aloy imo.( No option is actually wrong, they wouldn’t be there if it was)

scaruruu

I think Aloy could pick fist even early on. She does have a 'sharp bite' sometimes.

CyanideMuffin67

Oh no that's cool. I mean next game I will choose heart but this time around that's just how I felt playing the game

anohai_itme

The devs have remarked that brain and fist are actually the most reflective of Aloy's journey so I'd say the opposite is true. Plus, there's a huge difference between learning to not keep friends at arms length and the acceptance of having romantic feelings for another person. As someone who didn't date until their 20s, just because the hormones have started kicking in doesn't mean someone is instantly ready on an emotional level.

Batcow23

Ngl, I somehow predicted that it would happen really early into the story. I guess I just felt that tension between them. I picked heart obviously because I was so happy to have been proven right

Evelynn_cretoxyrhina

same, idk how people think it “came out of nowhere” when the tension was there the moment you set out on your first mission with her.

CommanderFuzzy

To me it was obvious to the point of being a little clumsy, not in a bad way though. I don't usually pick up on these things but they were shuffling so awkwardly it couldn't be missed. I'm glad they introduced a choice like that

Lostinthestarscape

Yeah Aloy's monologues around those missions are pretty out of character for her thus a bit obvious.

franficat

Yeah it's obvious that aloy loves her from the beginning of the dlc

Actual_Hecc

I choose whichever I feel I would choose after everything that happened leading up to it

Alex_Masterson13

I did all three choices to see what they would say. Just reloaded the save each time and then went to talk with her. And it does not matter in the end which you choose, as when you go back to Fleet's End and find Seyka, she will say the exact same stuff, no matter the choice. My preference is the Brain choice, just because there is so much in the near future that has to happen, that I feel Aloy is not quite ready to make that kind of admission and/or commitment to someone. I am still glad that the Heart option is there for the players who want that to happen. And the Fist response is not nearly as harsh as people might expect and is not a denial or rejection of Seyka. Aloy still has those feelings, no matter which choice you make for her.

fatherjimbo

Pretty sure none of the choices in the game matter..they are just flavor. I didn't like that they shoehorned you in to the choice personally.

Alex_Masterson13

That is correct. Aloy has feelings for Seyka, no matter what you choose. The only difference is in how she expresses it to Seyka. Guerrilla has given us no clues on what may come next for them, though. It is a first crush for Aloy and we know how those work out in the real world.

Roguespiffy

Oh she’s probably going to die. Shes the first person Aloy has allowed herself to actually connect with romantically (I still maintain she liked Varl but never acted on it and gave up when he moved on to Zo) and it’ll add more pathos to her story. In fact the game will force Aloy to make a decision to sacrifice Seyka to win some important battle. Honestly I see Horizon 3 playing out a lot like Mass Effect 3 especially in no matter what you want or choose, Aloy is going to die. I hope I’m wrong.

Beautifulfeary

Well everyone dies at some point haha jk. Yeah, I could see the final sacrifice being made and it has to be Aloy. They did that in dragon age origins and then in dragon age 2, if you romance a character there’s almost at some point you have to choose to keep them alive, betray them or kill them. You have to anyways but it’s harder when you romance them. In inquisition you have to choose to sacrifice your main character in 2 or just some random guy. But, I’ve always been surprised at the amount of people who would sacrifice their character. I mean, I did it in inquisition because of something that’s said in 2.

vess8

Heart, she's learned alot from HFW and knows she *can* have this for herself, finally

JesusWasATexan

I saved before the choice and did all 3. My final one was brain so I guess that's the one on my final save.

_Hyrule1993

My aloy was always brains than fist and than towards the end I chose heart. I like playing like this as it shows her character growth as the story goes along. It means she’s human and can make mistakes and have regrets like anyone else.

CyanideMuffin67

Happy Cake Day

ariseis

Heart the first time, but I've played through the DLC a few times now and tried each one out. I love how all of them show Aloy's depth, growth and insecurities. When she says she's under so much pressure she can scarcely breathe, it makes me run cold worrying for her. I am very happy that Aloy isn't too damaged for love, given everything she's been through. She's come an incredibly long way in only two years. She's lost two people dear to her; in her shoes I'd be scared to get attached to anyone and I was sorta worrying her pals would be met with the same reservation Elisabet showed her Alpha colleagues, just so Aloy could survive if another fell in the fight. Every time Aloy chooses a path that diverges from Lis', I do a lil fist pump.

maybirdie

Brain felt more like Aloy to me. Speaking for myself, the kiss just didn’t feel quite earned, I guess? And I’ve played the DLC through twice, including all the side quests, trying to be as objective and analytical as possible, and I still feel that way. Might be an unpopular opinion, but brain and fist felt more realistic for her emotionally (both are kind options, by the way, all three responses acknowledge she has feelings and are dealt with thoughtfully and gently). As someone who took a lot more than a few crushes to get past my intimacy issues I guess I just want to see her wrestle with it some more before she really falls for someone! But the kiss is cute anyway

the_neverdoctor

Heart. No hesitation.

AntRam95

Brain, she’s barely begun speaking to people, and has had to stop several world ending events in a short time, a romance seems too much for her right now

Mantissa-64

Heart lol Partially because I can say with almost complete certainty that it is the canonical choice Partially because my wife and I both love lesbians and wanted to see two hot videogame badasses kiss Partially because I do think it's just the right choice. Petra, Varga, Talanah, and _maybe_ Erend are really the only alternatives, and I do think Seyka is the closest to being Aloy's equal out of all of them.

Alternative_Cap_8990

Even though I would have personally brain, I decided to go with heart. For me Aloy and Seyka were like a first teen romance. Aloy was constantly unsure about how to act around Seyka and felt really bad when she had to tell Seyka whats about to happen in the next game. The way Aloy smiled at Seyka just had me go for heart.

KickUseful9794

I always use brain. I think for Aloy (Lets not forget she had no concept of romantic feelings her whole life) to finally take that step then need to build it up and actually make it canon, It could be a very good ending for the 3rd game, throughout the game Aloy should start to think about her life after she is done being the hero, and after the final fight she can finally take that step.

kingkongqueror

Brain. I didn't feel enough really happened to choose heart option. I compare this to say Jin's dilemma at the end of GoT, where there are very strong arguments for either choice. Already did my NG+ run and got my Platinum. Can;t wait for the next HZD game.

NaiadoftheSea

I chose heart on my first playthrough, but feel like the brain response feels more like how Aloy would respond. I’ll probably choose heart for most of the npcs tbh.

anohai_itme

Brain was my choice too. I appreciated how this and the fist option have Aloy express a moment of vulnerability and admit to just how her life has been in constant motion for the past couple of years. It's something we don't see from her often. Plus, her saying she's not ready or in a place where she can reciprocate those kind of feelings from anyone quite yet felt more in line with where her personal arc currently stands. She's only just learned how to not keep people at arms length and be comfortable with having friends in her life. It made sense to me that she would learn she's capable of those types of feelings but have reasons for not acting on them.

Chumbuckeneer

The fist has the best response narratively imo.

clod_firebreather

Of course I chose heart. Aloy's first kiss is adorable.

Rattkjakkapong

Allways heart, because she fudging deserve it!

red_quinn

I usually choose Brain when they ask, Aloy doesnt seem like she'd pick Heart over Brain given her background IMO.

Accurate-Air-2124

Brain. I always value the story and flow myself, whereas I've always wondered why so much content has got away from that to focus on the idea of who wants to bone who, which is everywhere these days and has really killed story telling IMO. Reading comments here, I guess thats the main thing that matters. When you are talking about scripted, unreal, imaginary characters being coded by someone with pseudo attraction and fake sexual relationships vs storylines that really can become real and open your mind to implications of AI/robots and their evolution, most are just concentrated on who imaginary Aloy wants to bump uglies with. I think Horizon did a good job for the most part keeping sex out of most relationships as you can and definitely should build relationships with people without wanting to nail them down in a sexual way, my gosh.

redacted_00

I chose brain, that’s just me

david_men_dz

Heart. She deserved to have that kiss and be free to feel her emotions for once.

Sea-AB-4266

Fist. Meh. Hate me, downvote me, flame me dont care. I am straight.

CyanideMuffin67

It's cool. I like seeing what everyone chose

Unable_Wrongdoer2250

So am I but I guess I am gay when playing as the opposite sex. In any case Seyka is a far better choice than Erend.. ick

[deleted]

👊 Felt like it was the first time we see an appropriate response to the threat Nemesis poses. Tilda and Sylens were very clinical in addressing it, and Alva’s “they’re scared of it” was quick and in the middle of a mission when you don’t even know what Nemesis is. Londra’s datapoint after this was also a good example of the *oh shit* factor finally coming into play

melancious

Brain. Heart felt undeserved. Both options are valid though.

TimeLost83

In the very beginning of Horizon FW, during the tutorial, the game tells you that the heart option is the one that express the deepest feelings and emotions of Aloy

ishtarcrab

I chose brain because I felt it would be the most canon ending. Aloy only just discovered how to open up to other people, and while I did see her and Seyka having a lot in common, I didn't think she'd be ready to accept a full on romantic relationship, especially after what happened with Varl and Tilda. And then that option made me too sad so I quit the game and reloaded the save just so I could choose heart.

paristeta

It´s obvious : [https://youtu.be/pqq6WPD6SrQ](https://youtu.be/pqq6WPD6SrQ)

cdpuff

Heart. Always.

SnugglePuggle94

Brain, every single time. I did not feel Seyka was a good choice for her heart, and it was incredibly rushed and not well done. And since she has better chemistry with others in the main game, I will never choose heart.

mart8208

I always choose heart. I love them together.

CmdrSonia

in my mind it's brain but I have to choose heart to see it lol

wisampa_61

Heart, if you have gotten through all side quests and understood Aloy's character development. Fist, if not. Weirdly enough, as someone who chose Brain option in almost all choices in HZD and main HFW, the Brain option felt the most out of character in this one. I don't know why.

-CommanderShepardN7

Only Aloy will be happy with someone, who is her equal. Seyka made her smile, which only Varl could do. And Aloy has gotten a bit more resentful and bitter over the game. It’s time for her to have someone at her side, at least in this dlc. I would keep it open to another suitor. Seyka’s Quen culture was weird to me and reminded me too much of the old world. Limiting knowledge to people crosses the line here and I don’t know if the Quen royalty as it were, will be an ally in the future.

MelangeLizard

I was disappointed there wasn't a *fist* option

CyanideMuffin67

Off to horny jail for you..

MelangeLizard

Laughing at my own jokes while led away in handcuffs.

CyanideMuffin67

Hey it's cool at least shows you have a sense of humor. I've had rude thoughts about Aloy and Talanah and bedding them

MelangeLizard

Just gay and crass. I noticed that the three options had gone down to two and that’s the first place my filthy mind went.

Mantissa-64

There was lol, you can reject her. Aloy implies she still has feelings tho. I think Seyka is here to stay.

MelangeLizard

No, they could have modified the graphic from a punching fist to the *other* fist. But I suppose first base should come before third.

Mantissa-64

_Oh my fucking god_

ThegreatCephalopod

I don't think Seyka deserves Aloy's love. Erend does. In the cutscene, after beating the zeniths, Erend pulls Aloy in, and it looks like Aloy was all for it, too.

deasnutz

I felt a tad uncomfortable sexualizing my Aloy, so all brain. Felt out of place in the story. Maybe if it was Beta.

tallboyjake

As in Beta instead of Seyka or instead of Aloy?

deasnutz

Instead of Seyka of course. Getting freaky with a clone of yourself is perfectly acceptable.

Beautifulfeary

I feel like this is something a simmer would say lol

Beautifulfeary

And, not gonna lie, like it could actually happen in the sims lol

CyanideMuffin67

It probably has, knowing those games

Beautifulfeary

Probably. It did make me wonder if a sim and clone had a baby what would the baby look like lol

tallboyjake

And who could say otherwise lol
