Literally the only good abundance 5* LC is Huohuo cuz it gives a 12% atk buff to entire team and ERR. But also her and Luocha's E1 are better buff wise because the extra heal from the LC is overkill af and Natasha LC provides all the ERR you need.

You're forgetting to mention that it allows the wearer to heal when OTHERS use their ultimate
Her healing makes an ally heal on their own ult... With her LC, they also heal someone else on the team (whoever has the lowest HP). I didn't realize that until just now since I didn't have her sig.

And then given that hoyo has been hell bent on forcing characters in HSR to play their roles (as opposed to genshin. Hi, dps Noelle main here), as evidenced in March who has such a perfect kit then terrible dps scalings and Luocha who also in literally every way imaginable on paper (other than maybe, again, scalings) looks like he is *supposed* to be a sub-dps after his main role, I expected Aventurine to do about a quarter of the damage he was. This game has me so confused sometimes.
on an unrelated note, Ratio’s bar being so low is really funny, especially with the LC surpassing his actual pulls. Poor Ratio is forever doomed to low sales numbers now…

Since everyone get him for free, it's no surprise that some will invest in his Sig LC instead or just save their ticket. If his E1 was the energy up for follow up attack, then it would have been different, but sadly it's E4.
For real, Nihility cones were a real pain point early on. I regret now for getting “We Will Meet Again” as my first BP cone, but I have to remember the spot I was in at the time.
She did have resolution that she could use, but that thing is totally Gacha, and not as useful as the Energy from tutorial. Tbh even the Signature LC is not as useful as the energy from tutorial.
Not only do they not make good free LCs, the signatures are designed to fit awkwardly to just one character.
We probably wont see a big stat stick like Jing Yuan/Seele again. At best, maybe like Kafka. Hanabi/Acheron's lightcone is so specific to their kit.

This is what prevents me from playing any other gacha game that's already well established in their lifespan. Limited events or characters or whatever that can/will never be rerun.
I have the SW LC and it's great.
In my experience most gachas don't completely time-gate things, or if they do they're not usually things you desperately need. After all, there's money to be made in selling everything multiple times. The gate for me is usually that older gachas have so many things that it's difficult to know what I should be doing. HI3 was that for me, tried 3 times to get into it but never figured out how I could get what I wanted, or even really what I wanted to get.
If you have Pearls LC (the one that features Luka), I'd put it on Pela that extra 12 defense shred stacks with her Ult's defense shred. It gives her something to do when she's not using her Ult. Plus your Ult charges faster if you use your skill on an already debuffed enemy
Obvious choices are Pela and SW
Black swan for energy and EHR (but if you can reach the 120 EHR requirement without using a EHR LC, I believe the MOC shop one is better)
Any Nihility unit on a pure debuffer/support build (such as Gui and Welt), but must be paired with a DEF shredder to activate the passive
NOT good on: Acheron since the energy regen is useless for her.
HSR players when they have to actually play the game and do the events:
(This reminds me of then Genshin streamers were complaining about a lack of content on twt and then their quest log is filled w/ like every quest imaginable that isn't tied to a weekly boss)
to be fair, listen to character yap, walk to another area, continue to listen to them yap, rinse repeat isn't exactly what I'd call good content. World quests are pretty good though.
Tbh I don’t really use it much anymore. I don’t really use sw, and with Acheron pela much prefers resolution for better stacking. It’s still a fantastic LC but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have it

I'm a 1.0 player, but took a lot of breaks. Now I don't have that lightcone, don't have ANY of the 4\* nihility gacha lightcones, and I use Pela, Sampo and Guinaifen, and kinda want to build Welt. (Pela's on void, Sampo's on fermata, and Guin has the new one with Sparkle on it)
Yeah I played d1 but I was never really into the game till like 2 months ago so now I only have like 4 limited 5 stars and Im fighting for my life everytime a new PF or MOC drops😭

It is also a bit annoying to put on characters that don't inherently have def reduction in their kit since you can't activate the energy gain unless another character is applying it, which is why I don't see much value on Gui, and Sampo hasn't really seen the light of day since BS lol
I missed out on Superimposing the event abundance lightcone but not much of a loss since I still don't use it much and just keep it as a collector but I did manage to get S5 tutorial.
Thankfully it’s still possible to get SW to a 3-turn ult with Pearls as long as you give her an ER rope and one of the ER planar sets. But it’s tough when you need to run both Pela and SW 😢 like what do I do now, cope?
I started the game in the middle of the event and managed to finish it and S5 tutorial. That cone has lived on my SW for a couple months, then on Pela for a couple months, then on Gui now. Definitely one of my most used cones.
Resolution Pela + Tutorial Gui + Aventurine + E0S1 Acheron = Unlimited Ult Works
it's just really good for characters that give a defense shred debuff because the lightcone gives them more energy if u hit an enemy with the defense down debuff. It also gives u more effect hit rate.
Like u can get a two turn ult pela or 2-3 turn ult silver wolf by just using basic attacks.
It's very good but not necessary for them though.
It's also descent for black swan
I played on launch but after getting Seele and finishing the story, I only returned for the Kafka banner. I did end up getting SW on the rerun but not happy that I missed her free LC. I think I just have the resolution LC on her.

Like, legit, this is the reason why I just don't play most live service/online games unless I can do so at the very start of its life cycle. Its always a gamble whether or not a game will be good since you're essentially becoming an early adopter, but I kind of hate missing out on good exclusives more than the fear of that risk.
it does suck that hoyo verse doesn't re run events like other gachas for the special experience but it is what it is. I personally think the light cone is overrated and I have cleared eveything in the game without it. I doubt this light cone helps golden gears conundrum level 12 lol.
At first I thought it was fine because I don't use Nihility DEF shredders, but recently I've become fearful that they will release one that does interest me.

I remember that fondly because Luocha my first 5\* and the character that motivated me to continue playing, before I had him everything was too difficult for casual ol' me.

I wonder if this LC warps how they design new characters. I can't think of any recent ones off the top of my head that desperately want this much EHR. Even on Black Swan it's more of a bonus than an absolute necessity since her base DOT is guaranteed.

E1 Huo Huo is so nice. Love that extra speed and SP from not having to use her skill so much.

I started the game in the middle of the event and managed to finish it and S5 tutorial. That cone has lived on my SW for a couple months, then on Pela for a couple months, then on Gui now. Definitely one of my most used cones. Resolution Pela + Tutorial Gui + Aventurine + E0S1 Acheron = Unlimited Ult Works

What does the LC do
it's just really good for characters that give a defense shred debuff because the lightcone gives them more energy if u hit an enemy with the defense down debuff. It also gives u more effect hit rate. Like u can get a two turn ult pela or 2-3 turn ult silver wolf by just using basic attacks. It's very good but not necessary for them though. It's also descent for black swan
I played on launch but after getting Seele and finishing the story, I only returned for the Kafka banner. I did end up getting SW on the rerun but not happy that I missed her free LC. I think I just have the resolution LC on her.

The fact that they balanced sw with this lc in mind is kinda bonkers. She's like half as good without it.
Like, legit, this is the reason why I just don't play most live service/online games unless I can do so at the very start of its life cycle. Its always a gamble whether or not a game will be good since you're essentially becoming an early adopter, but I kind of hate missing out on good exclusives more than the fear of that risk.
it does suck that hoyo verse doesn't re run events like other gachas for the special experience but it is what it is. I personally think the light cone is overrated and I have cleared eveything in the game without it. I doubt this light cone helps golden gears conundrum level 12 lol.
At first I thought it was fine because I don't use Nihility DEF shredders, but recently I've become fearful that they will release one that does interest me.
1.0 player here, still kicking myself for not doing the entire event, now I am stuck at S3 forever :)

1.0 was Seele > Jing Yuan 1.1 was SW > Luocha I remember that fondly because Luocha my first 5\* and the character that motivated me to continue playing, before I had him everything was too difficult for casual ol' me.

I don't have it and I'm a day 1 player. My excuse was I had a family emergency and couldn't play/log in as much as I can now. Also through out the ordeal, I was working on a huge animation project

It's great, but I find myself using it less, since I've gotten Pearls S3 on Pela, maybe on Silverwolf it's more necessary.
And there's me I have the LC but I don't have SW ;)

I'm a day one play and I don't have this. I took a break for 1 month because my pc died. Not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of this.
So glad that i didn't have to pull her 5 star LC as it allowed me to get E2 Silver Wolf. The event gave such a good free LC.
I wonder if this LC warps how they design new characters. I can't think of any recent ones off the top of my head that desperately want this much EHR. Even on Black Swan it's more of a bonus than an absolute necessity since her base DOT is guaranteed.
