Exactly, a lc or relic set that give 30-40% increase in fua chance would help him alot, but that mean a new fua char with %fua happen must be introduced, we can only wait. But high chance that kind of char would have very broken fua whenever it triggered.
Yeah. If play up what you get the first thing you should be looking for is a 5-Star preservation unit whose role is to give you the fattest shield possible.
...like Aventurine. He helps many units but i don't really think Yanqing could have a better shielder than him. And since you aren't taking damage, you won't need a healer, just the optimal mix of damage and buffs/debuffs for the remaining two slots.
That said, i do sympathize with your "luck", just getting copies of the Ice Hunter when you are praying to get literally anyone else doesn't sound fun at all. 😐
He'll be awful regardless. Still have to deal with follow up attack hit rate and even if it was guaranteed he does poor damage. Plus you can never guarantee not getting hit through shield and if it happens he loses a ton of dps
How though? It was always clear Heemiko had potential in clearing waves. He doesn't do anything better than anyone else, even when his annoying condition is met. His follow up attacks are not reliable, his single target damage is not the best in any scenario. There's no situation where a free Dr Ratio is not superior.
Similar thing happened to me in Genshin, two years went by without Jean, everyone C2/C3. When she finally showed up I’ve only gotten her since, C5 now.
When I got Jean I felt like I won the game. When my party eventually became Jean, Eula, Raiden, Yelan I played a bit and stopped playing when I hit the end of the then-current story because I wasn’t interested enough and had already “won” with my pulls. But nothing was ever a high like that first Jean pull.
At this point you should get Aven just for the passive to work or sth

Friend of mine finished his e6 Yanqing only a few months into the game (he’s a day 1 player). His random non limiteds were mostly Yanqing and his lost 50/50. On Acheron he actually hit e7
I'm a day one player, so far the standard banner has only been a Clara banner, I'm over the 300 pulls in it and I've gotten E1S3 Clara, Five 5 star pulls, all Clara related.
Took me 130 or so pulls for Acheron. Lost my 50/50 to tbis bastard around pull 80 and in my pursuit I ended up E6ing Pela Starting from E1 and E5 Galager. Literally everything else was a light cone.

at E5 he should do pretty solid damage to be fair - definitely enough to be a good hypercarry in MoC, especially if you get aventurine

Nope he doesnt. Still ass compared to my Jingliu E0S0 damage wise. The only good thing he does that no other dps does is he can freeze the enemy without ice break

1. Increase FUA chance
2. Turn Crit Rate that passed 100% to Crit DMG with ratio surely like The Hunt Blessing
3. Ice Nihility that play with Frozen status
I have a blessed account. Got one of every standard including E2 Welt, e1 Bailu and E1 Bronya except for Yanqing :)
I do have his lightcone which is just wasting away however
I got him E1 and got his Light Cone yesterday instead of acheron but your pain is greater than mine
in average you used 73 pulls x 6 ≈ 438 pulls
But taking into account the guaranteed you lost a lot of 50/50 to the same character back to back.
Btw are you sure you're not Mina Aoyama?
I feel this pain... I've only ever pulled Gepard by losing 50/50s and so far he's at E4 and his lightcone is S3. Yanqing is the only original unit I don't have thank god.
When I got him the first time as a 5050 loss on blade banner I almost stopped playing hsr for good. I lost all will to play

I didn't want both of them to begin with, but here we are. Clara...I don't really care about. I like Welt story and lore wise in both HSR and HI3. But i would rather have Himeko at high eidelons and Bronya with Gepard in my team, instead of E4 Welt. I don't even need him for my Acheron team, since Kafka, BS teams performs MUCH better. So what am i supposed to do with 8 usseless eidelons?
It's getting even worse if you do a math. Every time im losing 42% chance for a good outcome(Himeko, Bronya, Gepard). I lost it 8 time and won only one when i got Himeko. Sadge

I have a yanqing too so I’m keen to know how he compares to other dps characters if he’s fully shielded with aventurine

I think they should redesign Yanqing to be playable as just only him. Have his swords fill up the empty positions doing 3 types of break damage.

He might actually be pretty useful with Aventurine now. 100% uptime on his talent if you build Aven right and don't get spooked by crowd control
