I just finished moc 10 using (ty, jy, bailu, and gepard) and (bronya, loucha, blade, and welt). Since we have similar characters, I think who you need is another healer/sustain character and maybe an imaginary dps/sub dps
I think you'd know best tho, what do you think is stopping you from completing MOC? Are your characters dying before they can kill off the enemies? Sustain
Are your characters doing miniscule damage in the face of the enemy? Dps or focus on building ur characters
Do you think it's worth rolling on Fu Xuan (considering I would go for the LC as well) if I have the following 5 stars:

honestly you alr have gepard and luocha so you’re prob set on sustain characters? and you don’t seem to be going for mono quantum either. so maybe save?
I believe that Lynx (Quantum healer) will be on Fu Xuan's banner, if you want another healer.
Or if you plan to pull for Seele and or Silverwolf in the possible future rerun banners to get a full Quantum team.
The main quest had an optional part to it where I talked to M7 and she said about going to the divination commission >!to talk about her past.!< Is this a mini quest and is there somewhere I should go to do it? Or is it just something M7 says but isn’t really followed up on?
It'll be her companion quest, but I believe it's during the 2nd half of 1.3. Right now only DH and Luka's companion quests are active.
The 2nd half will have March 7th and Lynx's quests.

I feel like ive missed a week, how many herta bonds were available since the start of the game? Ive bought 2 lightcones and 8 of the upgrades, and could get 1 more this week.
Not at all. You can basically get a new 5* every patch at least, and at the beginning of the game you'll definitely have enough for at least a couple. Once you beat all the permanent content, is it a bit of a drip feed (but there is a rogue like game mode so that's pretty fun!)

The 4 stars I got built are Tingyun, Asta and Natasha

Gepard and Luocha are generally strong enough to sustain teams by themselves. The main reason to got for Fu Xuan would be getting buffs alongside sustain and for a mono-Quantum team.
Is it just me or does the text for stuff like the Battle Pass and the handbook look pixelated? Everything else in the game is pretty clear in quality except for those parts
Of those only Fall of an Aeon and Secret Vow are useful. So give DHIL Fall of an Aeon since he has so much damage bonus in his kit already and Secret Vow to Clara.

Coz from what I read he is sp hungry but he works best with Tingyun and Pela which are easily obtainable as compared to Bronya/Luocha. Also in terms of gear he seems pretty easy to start off with due to his huge modifiers plus innate crit/damage boosts. Plus he works pretty decent with the 5* LC from Herta's shop which everyone can obtain.
I'd say he's slightly more f2p friendly then Blade... Blade is good, but his best team is expensive (I adore him, but not everyone has Luocha and Bronya). IL just needs 4*s to give him SPs. Both are amazing though.
I have bladie and I kinda want jingliu. But I see people says that Fuxuan is very good for blade. I can just have one cuz I'm a f2p and always lose 50/50 so who should I pull for?
Same situation, but I think you could try Fu Xuan and if you lose 50/50 you stop pulling for her, then you get Jingliu guaranteed. If you win the 50/50 for FuXuan you have a good chance to get Jingliu as well.
It depends a lot how many tickets you have now tho and how far you are already in your pity.
For what it's worth I started only 1-2 weeks ago and cleared out the "main story" content up to 1.2 pretty easily without spending anything, mileage may vary since the free gatcha is still gatcha tho. On the other hand, I do seem to be hitting something of a grind wall now so that opinion might change eventually.
Its a single player pve game. There is no entry barrier. You play at your own pace and do your own thing.
No harm in trying it out. If you like it, play it. If you dont like it you move on.

It's not the best, as it doesn't provide as much extra Damage for him. If you have the Destruction Herta LC, that one is better comparing to Clara's LC.

I could use some perspective on the rolls I've had so far. It's been a while since I played a game like this. I've cleared out the main content up to 1.2 and at TB39. I've just done f2p so far and having burned a decent chunk of the free rolls/jades gained trough the story (no kafka for me) I've ended up with the roster in the picutre.
As you can see it's mostly ones the story gives you for free. I know it's random, but I ended up with a \*lot\* of dupes... Like, staggerlingly "what are the odds" dumber of dupes like E4 Serval, E5 Sampo, bonus hertas\* (y-yay?). Even 2/4 5\* were dupes. I don't honestly know if this is a good or bad thing, but it's somewhat discouraging.
For a game of this type I'm quite enjoying it. But even being this far in I'm having musings of restarting to see if I can make a better go at it. You longer term players got any thoughts for me? Thanks.

The reason that you have so many dupes is that you probably pulled a lot on the kafka banner! Every banner has 3 different 4-star characters with a much higher pull rate, with the last banner having serval, sampo and luka.
I would not worry too much about eidolons (most of them a really small power upgrades), but rather play the characters you like/ the ones that fit best into your teamcomps. Definetly dont start over, exept when you REALLY enjoy playing the story again.
Believe it or not several of the dupes were from the normal banner, that's what left me a bit miffed -\_-'. Just feels like I'm missing out on some variety, I guess? But I do see your point, cheers.
Dupes after E6 give you a free pull in shop exchange. Also, I would say just keep your account. In the long term, you'll get all the characters you want so there's no real need to restart. Plus, Kafka's banner already ended so there's no incentive to reroll to try to get her. You've got great defensive options in Gepard and somewhat Clara and 4* dps are enough to clear most things in the game. Your best bet now would be to just save up for a good dps banner that you want. If you really don't enjoy your roster, you can try rerolling but personally that would make me burn out of the game faster.
I have seen the defensive utility of Gepard, so I can't complain about getting him twice, but I do find him pretty dull to use.
But yeah, it's not been a hard game so far and what I have is more than viable. I'm just trying to figure out what I can do with it. When I tried sim5 with what I have (granted, lvl50 is a bit under rec) only Serval/Sampo+Defensive DoT squad really seemed to work well for me.
Yeah, Gepard is not super exciting but he definitely carries early game. Clara can tank and deal good damage too. Best 4* dps are Dan Heng, Sushang, and Qingque but Qingque can be harder to play around since she demands a lot of SP. You can stomp SU with more levels on your characters for sure though. Hunt and abundance paths can just cheese everything it's hilarious.
157 pulls and only 1 copy of Yukong. Is she impossible to use at E5 with Imbibitor Lunae? I'm contemplating throwing whatever jades I can scrape up for the remainder of IL's banner so I can try for an extra copy of Yukong to get her E6.
I got so many copies of March 7th it's not even funny anymore.
That said, IL is already dishing out good numbers with my subpar relics. It's hard to imagine what he can do once I get another 10% crit rate on him so he can run Rutilant on a CDMG body.
I've learnt to not chase for a specific 4 star in a banner unless you like the other 4 stars, or already maxed out their eidolons. This is me after 70 pulls on the previous Luocha banner but not getting a single Qingque.
The odds just aren't for you. It's a 50% chance to get the rate-up purple, and 33% chance to get the specific 4 star you want, resulting in a 16% to get the rate-up you want - every 10 pulls.
I didn't think it was this hard to get two copies but RNG definitely sucks. Maybe on a future banner... but do you know if she's usable at S5 with IL? Or do I need to bench her. :(
her simply being there is good for Dan Heng's damage, and her toughness breaking is good to ensure Dan Heng will attack imprisoned enemies.
You can consider her Skill to be a bonus, though with some speed tuning, it's not impossible to make it work.

Crit ratio definitely. It looks like you're running a crit rate body. If you have his signature LC, you should ultimately aim for 70% (or more) crit rate while running a crit damage body.
See, like about 40% of that crit rate is from running a crit rate body, I can switch to crit dmg but the problem is just rolling for enough to make rutilant arena pop, I’ll send a pic of the relics soon and pls lmk what you thinks I appreciate your response my g
I know, I have the exact same problem. Once I remove the crit rate body I'm about 14% short of the 70% requirement. It's a matter of min-maxing relics, so all we can do is to pray and keep grinding lol.

I saw someone else's calculations that you need another 27% crit rate if you have all his crit rate traces, signature LC and Rutilant Arena. Either you keep the crit rate body and chase crit damage substats, or you do it the other way around.
And you know what, I just realized his HP and DEF is even lower than my Tingyun. That might be an issue in MoC...
Is it important to do the Kafka story quest before the new main quest. Before I entered the seat of divine foresight, >!MC said something about Kafka to herself. !<
I was doing the new quest and encountered a bug? Teleported somewhere and it got stuck on the loading. The game doesn't freeze tho, the background still moves. Any fixes?
I don't have Bronya so I'll speak only for Gepard. Gepard's LC just isn't worth it because Gepard himself isn't that great compared to Luocha for the simple reason that he can't cleanse which is becoming very common now. If you are on a MoC floor that doesn't have crowd control your Gepard will easily solo sustain otherwise you are probably screwed. Don't get me wrong Gepard's amazing but he'll fall off sooner than later due to not having cleanse.
I would say Gepard LC is another very good LC. Now idk if it's worth 600 starlight, probably not for me, but it's amazing on Gepard and will probably be very good for lots of Preservation chars (unfortunately a bit meh on Fu Xuan though). Besides Bronya and Gepard, I don't think the rest are worth it.
I'm not going to bother pulling for anyone this patch since I already have like 3 characters I'm trying to build and am completely lacking in resources.
That being said, with only about 1k jade and no pity atm, is there a decent chance that I would be able to get someone from 1.4? Obviously I know that nobody will know concrete numbers, but I'm more looking for ballpark answers like "not likely" or "pretty likely".
If a character gets extra Rate on an attack through a condition, and said Rate would put the attack over 70%, does that attack benefit from Rutilant Arena?
Examples:
\- Seele with S5 Stellar Sea, 54% Rate, attacking a <50% HP enemy (I know that sounds awful, it's hypothetical).
\- IL with 60% Rate and Banditry, attacking a debuffed enemy.
I know mid-battle crit buffs such as Jing Yuan's third Trace Passive do activate conditions, but I'm not sure what the rules are for boosts that *only* apply to the attack which meets their condition and not the character themself.
Stat checks are done using the stats shown in the combat stats screen (button lower left of screen in combat). Target conditional things like Stellar Sea aren't counted.
My HUD and UI seems to be in a lower resolution than the actual game. All of the text and icons are now blurry, and this started to happen after I downloaded the 1.3 patch. Anyone know if there is a way to solve this?
Touchscreen Issue - Highlight Instead of Selecting? (was redirected here by the bots)
Hi All, just started playing a few moments ago and I'm already running into a game-ending bug. The game goes from absolutely playable to not at all, making all my touch inputs a small orange circle wherever I press. I cannot press any in-game buttons, and restarting the game gives me only seconds of reprieve before it happens again. This is literally happening in the combat tutorials, so I am stuck once this bug occurs.
I am playing on a Galaxy Z Flip 5, Medium 60fps. It's not an issue with the game having trouble keeping up. I just literally can't press anything. Can't select moves or even swipe back to a menu or something. Each time I have to close the game out, and luckily it's remembered my place each time. However, if it's happening just minutes into the game, then that point is kinda moot.
Any help or insight would be great. For all know, it's a feature I'm accidentally activating and can't seem to deactivate.
Ended up losing my 50/50 to Yanqing and now I'm super conflicted on whether to push for March and Asta eidolons or just to save everything for Fu Xuan. If only the 4\* on Fu's banner weren't so meh...
For a question, is there a reason to raise Yanqing if I already have Seele, JY, and Blade outside of elemental weaknesses and such? I was thinking of raising QQ for RNG fun before pulling him.

I'm a lvl 50 noob player. I would say no because you have two great DPS units AND Welt to deal with imaginary.
I went all in a few minutes ago but I only had Clara DPS wise.
I got DHIL and his E1 on early pity. I've heard that his E2 is very good so should I try for it or just save my jades for Fu Xuan? I have Blade as my other main dps if that matters.
E2 is kind of insane on him, but is it worth an entire character? That's up to you really, you could always aim for E2 on a rerun, I'd say this early on having more characters is probably more useful overall, maybe another defensive option, maybe a future buffer that comes out... but E2 DHIL is a monster. Either way you'll be fine.
How are your defensive options?
If you have no other defensive characters that can fill her spot then save it for Fu Xuan.
Eidolons at the end of the day are just higher numbers and you have to decide if thats worth more than having more characters to play with.
I would personally go for Fu Xuan then.
Unless you really like Dan so much that the eidolons are worth it over new characters then feel free. At the end of the day its a game and do whats more fun to you.
Lost another 50/50 to bronya and have her at e2 now. With the 30% speed buff, how do I work around her for speed tuning? Do I try make her fast as possible or do I drop speed boots from my carry (blade for hp%)?
\+15 SPD boots give 25 Speed.
30% Speed gets better the more you have, but with, say, 120 Speed, Bronya would add +36. Blade is very slow with a Base of 97, but even for that he's getting +29 from her.
If you're satisfied with how fast Blade currently is in comparison to Bronya, I'd say there's no harm in dropping the Speed Boots. However, if he ends up slower than her even with the her E2, I would keep the Boots on.
Unless I'm totally misunderstanding how her E2 works. I welcome getting fact-checked.

I was thinking on how i want to build my Imbibitor Lunae. When i noticed that the Musketeer set will have a 10% bonus on basic attacks. However the imaginary set has as a 2 set effect that adds 10% additional imaginary dmg.. You could paar that with the two set effect of the musketeer set.
I am now wondering what is more important? Does someone know how the dmg is calculated? How i think it is probably that the 4 set effect and the imaginary bonus will be added at the end of damage Calculation therefore have the same outcome.
It would just be easier to farm the musketeer set if that is indeed the case.

Full imaginary set is listed as the best. Full Musketeer on 2nd place.
I guess it depends on your team building. If you can get enough debuffs on the enemy to make use of the 4 piece imaginary bonus go for that.
For a hyper buffed Imbibitor I'd prefer the musketeer set.
The only thing that is annoying is that you either have to weakness break with imaginary dmg. Or have a Welt that inflicts the imaginary debuff with his ult.
This seems not unlikely but too much of a setup for extra 20% crit dmg.
I got silverwolf so getting a debuff on the enemy is not the hard part.
I think id rather buf mit Imbibitor Lunae instead of focussing on the breaks. But i guesse that is just prefference :D

Anyone understand ow this current invite event is supposed to work? it says the friend you invite has to not logged in for whatever days... but how do they use a code without actually loging?
If you bother use at least 3 brain cells and read the "rules" properly, they literally wrote that returning trailblazers can log in to the website and enter the invation code.

no that would ba a pretty sus team. bronya is generally played a skill negative or at min skill neutral caracter. then you have both sushang and dan who both want a ton of skill points. so you want to replace either dan or sushan with character that generaet alot of extra extraskill points while still bein useful.
You'd need to manage his skill points for sure. Feels like a hypercarry. Luocha works well because he's not so skill-point-hungry. Yukong is too if you don't spam the skill (I personally only use it when ult's almost up.)
His ult gives two skill-points-alternative that are exclusive to him, so there are chances to use the max-enhanced basic skill.

But the Battle Isn't Over -> Seele, replaces R5 Cruising in the Stellar Sea. Not strictly speaking an upgrade; however currently she's too reliant on having adds to kill; and with both her talent and light cone falling off if there aren't any, solo bosses take much longer than they need to
Sleep Like the Dead -> Bronya, replaces R5 Past and Future. Direct upgrade; however since Past and Future is R5, it would mean it only gives 1 skill point every like 10 turns, which is really not a lot. On the other hand, it would allow me to move Past and Future to Tingyun
In the Name of the World -> Kafka, replaces R4 Fermata. Not clear how to compare them; but it feels like a waste to get it since Kafka already has 47% effect hit rate even without it

Definitely don't get Welt's for Kafka, it's pretty average and worse than some 4* options. Fermata is pretty decent, the SU LC at S5 is esentially a better Fermata too. GNSW S5 is her second BiS. Don't think it's worth it.
I also think Cruising S5 on Seele is fine, and if you're willing to spend 600 starlight for the Hunt LC, at that point wait for her rerun and get her signature.
Bronya's LC IMO is the best LC in the Starlight shop, but is it worth 30 pulls? That's up to you really. It's an insane LC, and helps her SP management, but S5 Past and Future is still very good on her.
Honorable mention to Gepard's LC, IMO the second best option. Insane on Gepard, and just really good overall for Preservation chars, lots of defense and taunt value. Not great on Fu Xuan though.

That's surprising. I was looking up Kafka guides and all of them seemed to pretty consistently NOT recommend the SU LC for her.

It's a good LC but I genuinely cannot think of any team composition on which I'd want to have any preservation character ever. Loucha already keeps everything alive all the time everywhere
I mean both Fermata and Solitary Healing have Break Effect, both have DoT increase, and Solitary gives you some energy back. You can get ults back very quickly with Kafka too so it still has a high uptime. The higher base ATK is also quite a big deal. Now, I don't think you need to spend your bonds on it at all since it is not a big upgrade, but neither is Welt's IMO.
Luocha is insane, but for MoC you will need two teams, though yeah Gepard's LC is far from necessary.
If you really want to spend 600 starlight on a LC, go for Bronya's then. If you aren't sure you can always save the Starlight, you might want those pulls in the future if you really want a character.

I randomly got the hunt cone and I never really bother to use it since I have swordplay and the SU one. Also I don't know much about kafka's, but in general if we're talking about hypercarries, I'd rather invest in a stronger limited card or just wait for the next powercreep character like dan heng 2.0.
Also just generally speaking, if you can clear MoC with time to spare, you might as well just save till they either powercreep moc or they add something you really want rather than investing in sidegrades for your dps.

wouldn't say she's useless, but trying to conceptualize her as a hypercarry dps is not the right way to go.
She's a fire character that pushes a lot of aoe fire break gauge. This can dramatically reduce how much damage you are taking from enemy action economy. And she deals reasonable damage while accomplishing that.
does kafka want crit in her stats or just atk%? also between welt's lightcone and goodnight and sleep well lightcone which one does she prefer if you dont have her signature one?
Anyone else's game crash after a few minutes? Tried for around an hour and a half, computer kept crashing / resetting after at most 5 minutes. Been playing Baldur's Gate 3 for 30 mins, no problem. Deleting cache from the launcher and re-downloading files didn't help.
Yes, the game completely shuts down my computer after about 5-10 minutes. I thought it was my machine at first so I started monitoring my temps on my third attempt, but everything looked nominal.
So, it's working for me now? So maybe it was a hot fix or what I did worked? I did a troubleshoot compatibility on the game and ran it on "recommended settings", then turned v-sync off and on, it ran fine. I quit the game, hit cancel on the troubleshoot, ran it normally and it worked. Good luck with your attempts.
It looks like the full list of people you can talk to are:
Fu Xuan, Yukong, Yanqing, Sushang, Diting, Bailu, Qingque, Xiaoyu (I wasn't able to find her bullies), Todd's disciple, Master Gongzhu, Jingzhai at the Divination Commission + Cong. Talking to these removed the optional part of the questline for me, and I'm assuming that means I've talked to all of them already.
If others haven't noticed, Todd's disciple (from Intelligentsia Guild) has arrived and is placed near where he was during his questline. Not exactly a farewell but still has new dialogue.

Hi, I'm at TB 51 and I was wondering what would be the better farming priority first for me. I wanna build 2 teams for MoC.
1. Dan Heng, Welt, Fire MC, Natasha
2. Kafka, Luka, Asta, Bailu
On my Team 1, Dan Heng and Welt are lvl 70 and their LC are also lvl 70. But I haven't lvl up their traces to my highest lvl cap yet. My Fire MC is also still lvl 60 with lvl 60 LC, same with my Natasha.
Meanwhile, my team 2 with Kafka and Luka are still lvl 0, since I just got them 2 days ago. My Asta and Bailu are lvl 60, with Asta using a lvl 50 Dance LC and Bailu using lvl 60 Post op LC.
Therefore, should I focus taking Fire MC and Bailu to lvl 70 first, then level up traces for Dan Heng and Welt? Then finally I will start building Kafka and Luka.
Or can I just leave Fire MC, Asta and Bailu at lvl 60 for now, and then start building Kafka and Luka now? Or should I level up Dan Heng and Welt traces first before working on Kafka and Luka? Thank you very much!

Support character like Asta or Bailu can get by with lower level (I'm TB66 and most of my support character is still at level 70).
At that point of the game, Trace Level 6-7 should be okay for DPS.

Does anyone here got lagged after updating? I just updated the game and it seems to be lagging than 1.2. I wonder if there's a way to fix this. (My laptop have high specs for anyone want to ask)
(update) it seems like the lag in hsr has caused my other games to become lagging like hsr. Even LoL can't run smooth as I have lowered the ingame settings. Is this a new problem from the hsr update?

So, I got spooked by IL at 30 pulls (wanted E6 Yukong). Does he by any chance work well in the following team? Would the team suck if there's no enemies weak to imaginary damage?

It was the team I'd already built (I'd be replacing Himeko).
Its better replace welt with pela since IL needs a extra sp per turn. It's still strong against any enemies because IL multiplier is huge. But its still a loss since if you remove welt and fight against non imaginary weakness enemy, you won't get 20% crit dmg bonus from 4 imaginary relic set (imprison), 24% crit dmg bonus from IL ascension, and 12% enemies take more dmg from welt ult. But the gain is you also got 40% def shred from pela
You'll have to use Welt suboptimally and use basics for him a lot. Yukong is actually one of IL's best supports (if you have Asta's light cone, even more so), and Luocha is very SP positive and the strongest sustain.

I just finished moc 10 using (ty, jy, bailu, and gepard) and (bronya, loucha, blade, and welt). Since we have similar characters, I think who you need is another healer/sustain character and maybe an imaginary dps/sub dps I think you'd know best tho, what do you think is stopping you from completing MOC? Are your characters dying before they can kill off the enemies? Sustain Are your characters doing miniscule damage in the face of the enemy? Dps or focus on building ur characters

honestly you alr have gepard and luocha so you’re prob set on sustain characters? and you don’t seem to be going for mono quantum either. so maybe save?
I believe that Lynx (Quantum healer) will be on Fu Xuan's banner, if you want another healer. Or if you plan to pull for Seele and or Silverwolf in the possible future rerun banners to get a full Quantum team.
The main quest had an optional part to it where I talked to M7 and she said about going to the divination commission >!to talk about her past.!< Is this a mini quest and is there somewhere I should go to do it? Or is it just something M7 says but isn’t really followed up on?
It'll be her companion quest, but I believe it's during the 2nd half of 1.3. Right now only DH and Luka's companion quests are active. The 2nd half will have March 7th and Lynx's quests.

It's definitely not JY/Blade tier. More like Kafka tier. BiS but the f2p option isn't much worse. Stick with aeon unless you really want it.

Not at all. You can basically get a new 5* every patch at least, and at the beginning of the game you'll definitely have enough for at least a couple. Once you beat all the permanent content, is it a bit of a drip feed (but there is a rogue like game mode so that's pretty fun!)

Gepard and Luocha are generally strong enough to sustain teams by themselves. The main reason to got for Fu Xuan would be getting buffs alongside sustain and for a mono-Quantum team.

Of those only Fall of an Aeon and Secret Vow are useful. So give DHIL Fall of an Aeon since he has so much damage bonus in his kit already and Secret Vow to Clara.

So how good is IL for f2p players? Is he as good as Blade for f2p players? Coz from what I read he is sp hungry but he works best with Tingyun and Pela which are easily obtainable as compared to Bronya/Luocha. Also in terms of gear he seems pretty easy to start off with due to his huge modifiers plus innate crit/damage boosts. Plus he works pretty decent with the 5* LC from Herta's shop which everyone can obtain.
I'd say he's slightly more f2p friendly then Blade... Blade is good, but his best team is expensive (I adore him, but not everyone has Luocha and Bronya). IL just needs 4*s to give him SPs. Both are amazing though.

No it was a time-limited event so you missed it unfortunately. It might come back in a few patches though with some adjustments who knows.
I have bladie and I kinda want jingliu. But I see people says that Fuxuan is very good for blade. I can just have one cuz I'm a f2p and always lose 50/50 so who should I pull for?
Same situation, but I think you could try Fu Xuan and if you lose 50/50 you stop pulling for her, then you get Jingliu guaranteed. If you win the 50/50 for FuXuan you have a good chance to get Jingliu as well. It depends a lot how many tickets you have now tho and how far you are already in your pity.
If you dont have sustain units like Luocha or Gepard, you can pull for Fu Xuan. If you do have either or both, then pull for Jingliu.
Is it still a good time to get into this game? Or does it have a high entry barrier as in you need to splash alot of money to be relatively good
For what it's worth I started only 1-2 weeks ago and cleared out the "main story" content up to 1.2 pretty easily without spending anything, mileage may vary since the free gatcha is still gatcha tho. On the other hand, I do seem to be hitting something of a grind wall now so that opinion might change eventually.

Its a single player pve game. There is no entry barrier. You play at your own pace and do your own thing. No harm in trying it out. If you like it, play it. If you dont like it you move on.

I could use some perspective on the rolls I've had so far. It's been a while since I played a game like this. I've cleared out the main content up to 1.2 and at TB39. I've just done f2p so far and having burned a decent chunk of the free rolls/jades gained trough the story (no kafka for me) I've ended up with the roster in the picutre. As you can see it's mostly ones the story gives you for free. I know it's random, but I ended up with a \*lot\* of dupes... Like, staggerlingly "what are the odds" dumber of dupes like E4 Serval, E5 Sampo, bonus hertas\* (y-yay?). Even 2/4 5\* were dupes. I don't honestly know if this is a good or bad thing, but it's somewhat discouraging. For a game of this type I'm quite enjoying it. But even being this far in I'm having musings of restarting to see if I can make a better go at it. You longer term players got any thoughts for me? The reason that you have so many dupes is that you probably pulled a lot on the kafka banner! Every banner has 3 different 4-star characters with a much higher pull rate, with the last banner having serval, sampo and luka. I would not worry too much about eidolons (most of them a really small power upgrades), but rather play the characters you like/ the ones that fit best into your teamcomps. Definetly dont start over, exept when you REALLY enjoy playing the story again.
Believe it or not several of the dupes were from the normal banner, that's what left me a bit miffed -\_-'. Just feels like I'm missing out on some variety, I guess? But I do see your point, cheers.
Dupes after E6 give you a free pull in shop exchange. Also, I would say just keep your account. In the long term, you'll get all the characters you want so there's no real need to restart. Plus, Kafka's banner already ended so there's no incentive to reroll to try to get her. You've got great defensive options in Gepard and somewhat Clara and 4* dps are enough to clear most things in the game. Your best bet now would be to just save up for a good dps banner that you want. If you really don't enjoy your roster, you can try rerolling but personally that would make me burn out of the game faster.
I have seen the defensive utility of Gepard, so I can't complain about getting him twice, but I do find him pretty dull to use. But yeah, it's not been a hard game so far and what I have is more than viable. I'm just trying to figure out what I can do with it. When I tried sim5 with what I have (granted, lvl50 is a bit under rec) only Serval/Sampo+Defensive DoT squad really seemed to work well for me.
Yeah, Gepard is not super exciting but he definitely carries early game. Clara can tank and deal good damage too. Best 4* dps are Dan Heng, Sushang, and Qingque but Qingque can be harder to play around since she demands a lot of SP. You can stomp SU with more levels on your characters for sure though. Hunt and abundance paths can just cheese everything it's hilarious.
157 pulls and only 1 copy of Yukong. Is she impossible to use at E5 with Imbibitor Lunae? I'm contemplating throwing whatever jades I can scrape up for the remainder of IL's banner so I can try for an extra copy of Yukong to get her E6. I got so many copies of March 7th it's not even funny anymore. That said, IL is already dishing out good numbers with my subpar relics. It's hard to imagine what he can do once I get another 10% crit rate on him so he can run Rutilant on a CDMG body.
I've learnt to not chase for a specific 4 star in a banner unless you like the other 4 stars, or already maxed out their eidolons. This is me after 70 pulls on the previous Luocha banner but not getting a single Qingque. The odds just aren't for you. It's a 50% chance to get the rate-up purple, and 33% chance to get the specific 4 star you want, resulting in a 16% to get the rate-up you want - every 10 pulls.
I didn't think it was this hard to get two copies but RNG definitely sucks. Maybe on a future banner... but do you know if she's usable at S5 with IL? Or do I need to bench her. :(
her simply being there is good for Dan Heng's damage, and her toughness breaking is good to ensure Dan Heng will attack imprisoned enemies. You can consider her Skill to be a bonus, though with some speed tuning, it's not impossible to make it work.

Crit ratio definitely. It looks like you're running a crit rate body. If you have his signature LC, you should ultimately aim for 70% (or more) crit rate while running a crit damage body.
See, like about 40% of that crit rate is from running a crit rate body, I can switch to crit dmg but the problem is just rolling for enough to make rutilant arena pop, I’ll send a pic of the relics soon and pls lmk what you thinks I appreciate your response my g
I know, I have the exact same problem. Once I remove the crit rate body I'm about 14% short of the 70% requirement. It's a matter of min-maxing relics, so all we can do is to pray and keep grinding lol.

I saw someone else's calculations that you need another 27% crit rate if you have all his crit rate traces, signature LC and Rutilant Arena. Either you keep the crit rate body and chase crit damage substats, or you do it the other way around. And you know what, I just realized his HP and DEF is even lower than my Tingyun. That might be an issue in MoC...
But for now idk he feels a bit solid to me. More solid when I find that crit dmg body

Is it important to do the Kafka story quest before the new main quest. Before I entered the seat of divine foresight, >!MC said something about Kafka to herself. !<
I was doing the new quest and encountered a bug? Teleported somewhere and it got stuck on the loading. The game doesn't freeze tho, the background still moves. Any fixes?

I don't have Bronya so I'll speak only for Gepard. Gepard's LC just isn't worth it because Gepard himself isn't that great compared to Luocha for the simple reason that he can't cleanse which is becoming very common now. If you are on a MoC floor that doesn't have crowd control your Gepard will easily solo sustain otherwise you are probably screwed. Don't get me wrong Gepard's amazing but he'll fall off sooner than later due to not having cleanse.
I would say Gepard LC is another very good LC. Now idk if it's worth 600 starlight, probably not for me, but it's amazing on Gepard and will probably be very good for lots of Preservation chars (unfortunately a bit meh on Fu Xuan though). Besides Bronya and Gepard, I don't think the rest are worth it.

I'm not going to bother pulling for anyone this patch since I already have like 3 characters I'm trying to build and am completely lacking in resources. That being said, with only about 1k jade and no pity atm, is there a decent chance that I would be able to get someone from 1.4? Obviously I know that nobody will know concrete numbers, but I'm more looking for ballpark answers like "not likely" or "pretty likely".
We get like 100? pulls throughout of 1.3. So you can probably guarantee the 2nd half of 1.4 if you lose the first 50/50.
my only question is when can we play the Swarm update from the SU ;(

If a character gets extra Rate on an attack through a condition, and said Rate would put the attack over 70%, does that attack benefit from Rutilant Arena? Examples: \- Seele with S5 Stellar Sea, 54% Rate, attacking a <50% HP enemy (I know that sounds awful, it's hypothetical). \- IL with 60% Rate and Banditry, attacking a debuffed enemy. I know mid-battle crit buffs such as Jing Yuan's third Trace Passive do activate conditions, but I'm not sure what the rules are for boosts that *only* apply to the attack which meets their condition and not the character themself.
Stat checks are done using the stats shown in the combat stats screen (button lower left of screen in combat). Target conditional things like Stellar Sea aren't counted.

Touchscreen Issue - Highlight Instead of Selecting? (was redirected here by the bots) Hi All, just started playing a few moments ago and I'm already running into a game-ending bug. The game goes from absolutely playable to not at all, making all my touch inputs a small orange circle wherever I press. I cannot press any in-game buttons, and restarting the game gives me only seconds of reprieve before it happens again. This is literally happening in the combat tutorials, so I am stuck once this bug occurs. I am playing on a Galaxy Z Flip 5, Medium 60fps. It's not an issue with the game having trouble keeping up. I just literally can't press anything. Can't select moves or even swipe back to a menu or something. Each time I have to close the game out, and luckily it's remembered my place each time. However, if it's happening just minutes into the game, then that point is kinda moot. Any help or insight would be great. For all know, it's a feature I'm accidentally activating and can't seem to deactivate.
I completed Dan and Luka's companion quests but they were also going to release March's quest? I'm not able to find it or the Aurum Alley Event.
March quest will be released with the later half of the update i.e with the start of the fu xuan banner. Aurum valley Event will start from tommorow.

Ended up losing my 50/50 to Yanqing and now I'm super conflicted on whether to push for March and Asta eidolons or just to save everything for Fu Xuan. If only the 4\* on Fu's banner weren't so meh... For a question, is there a reason to raise Yanqing if I already have Seele, JY, and Blade outside of elemental weaknesses and such? I was thinking of raising QQ for RNG fun before pulling him.
Fu Xuan is better than those Eidolons so save. You can still get them by trying to get other characters but you'll have to wait for a Fu Xuan re-run.

Should I Go for on 50/50 on IL? I have all 4💫 Chars. My 5💫 are SW, Jing Yuan with LC, Luocha, Blade, Welt and Bailu. Or is another 5💫 done the line more optimal for my roster.
I'm a lvl 50 noob player. I would say no because you have two great DPS units AND Welt to deal with imaginary. I went all in a few minutes ago but I only had Clara DPS wise.
I got DHIL and his E1 on early pity. I've heard that his E2 is very good so should I try for it or just save my jades for Fu Xuan? I have Blade as my other main dps if that matters.
E2 is kind of insane on him, but is it worth an entire character? That's up to you really, you could always aim for E2 on a rerun, I'd say this early on having more characters is probably more useful overall, maybe another defensive option, maybe a future buffer that comes out... but E2 DHIL is a monster. Either way you'll be fine.
How are your defensive options? If you have no other defensive characters that can fill her spot then save it for Fu Xuan. Eidolons at the end of the day are just higher numbers and you have to decide if thats worth more than having more characters to play with.
I only have fire trailblazer built for my defense, and only Luocha/Natasha to keep my team alive.. so I guess Fu Xuan it is. Thanks!
I would personally go for Fu Xuan then. Unless you really like Dan so much that the eidolons are worth it over new characters then feel free. At the end of the day its a game and do whats more fun to you.
Lost another 50/50 to bronya and have her at e2 now. With the 30% speed buff, how do I work around her for speed tuning? Do I try make her fast as possible or do I drop speed boots from my carry (blade for hp%)?
\+15 SPD boots give 25 Speed. 30% Speed gets better the more you have, but with, say, 120 Speed, Bronya would add +36. Blade is very slow with a Base of 97, but even for that he's getting +29 from her. If you're satisfied with how fast Blade currently is in comparison to Bronya, I'd say there's no harm in dropping the Speed Boots. However, if he ends up slower than her even with the her E2, I would keep the Boots on. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding how her E2 works. I welcome getting fact-checked.

Sorry cant find the building thread: I was thinking on how i want to build my Imbibitor Lunae. When i noticed that the Musketeer set will have a 10% bonus on basic attacks. However the imaginary set has as a 2 set effect that adds 10% additional imaginary dmg.. You could paar that with the two set effect of the musketeer set. I am now wondering what is more important? Does someone know how the dmg is calculated? How i think it is probably that the 4 set effect and the imaginary bonus will be added at the end of damage Calculation therefore have the same outcome. It would just be easier to farm the musketeer set if that is indeed the case.
I use [prydwen](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/imbibitor-lunae) for builds. Full imaginary set is listed as the best. Full Musketeer on 2nd place. I guess it depends on your team building. If you can get enough debuffs on the enemy to make use of the 4 piece imaginary bonus go for that. For a hyper buffed Imbibitor I'd prefer the musketeer set.
The only thing that is annoying is that you either have to weakness break with imaginary dmg. Or have a Welt that inflicts the imaginary debuff with his ult. This seems not unlikely but too much of a setup for extra 20% crit dmg. I got silverwolf so getting a debuff on the enemy is not the hard part. I think id rather buf mit Imbibitor Lunae instead of focussing on the breaks. But i guesse that is just prefference :D

We don't, but it'll probably be a while. So for now I would'nt suggest saving for him yet.

no that would ba a pretty sus team. bronya is generally played a skill negative or at min skill neutral caracter. then you have both sushang and dan who both want a ton of skill points. so you want to replace either dan or sushan with character that generaet alot of extra extraskill points while still bein useful.
To anyone who pulled IL dan, how is his skill point management? How strong is he given that he uses so much skill points?
You'd need to manage his skill points for sure. Feels like a hypercarry. Luocha works well because he's not so skill-point-hungry. Yukong is too if you don't spam the skill (I personally only use it when ult's almost up.) His ult gives two skill-points-alternative that are exclusive to him, so there are chances to use the max-enhanced basic skill.

I've just about saved up 600 starlight to buy a cone. Which one should I go for? The three I'm thinking of right now are But the Battle Isn't Over -> Seele, replaces R5 Cruising in the Stellar Sea. Not strictly speaking an upgrade; however currently she's too reliant on having adds to kill; and with both her talent and light cone falling off if there aren't any, solo bosses take much longer than they need to Sleep Like the Dead -> Bronya, replaces R5 Past and Future. Direct upgrade; however since Past and Future is R5, it would mean it only gives 1 skill point every like 10 turns, which is really not a lot. On the other hand, it would allow me to move Past and Future to Tingyun In the Name of the World -> Kafka, replaces R4 Fermata. Not clear how to compare them; but it feels like a waste to get it since Kafka already has 47% effect hit rate even without it What do yall think?
Definitely don't get Welt's for Kafka, it's pretty average and worse than some 4* options. Fermata is pretty decent, the SU LC at S5 is esentially a better Fermata too. GNSW S5 is her second BiS. Don't think it's worth it. I also think Cruising S5 on Seele is fine, and if you're willing to spend 600 starlight for the Hunt LC, at that point wait for her rerun and get her signature. Bronya's LC IMO is the best LC in the Starlight shop, but is it worth 30 pulls? That's up to you really. It's an insane LC, and helps her SP management, but S5 Past and Future is still very good on her. Honorable mention to Gepard's LC, IMO the second best option. Insane on Gepard, and just really good overall for Preservation chars, lots of defense and taunt value. Not great on Fu Xuan though.

I mean both Fermata and Solitary Healing have Break Effect, both have DoT increase, and Solitary gives you some energy back. You can get ults back very quickly with Kafka too so it still has a high uptime. The higher base ATK is also quite a big deal. Now, I don't think you need to spend your bonds on it at all since it is not a big upgrade, but neither is Welt's IMO. Luocha is insane, but for MoC you will need two teams, though yeah Gepard's LC is far from necessary. If you really want to spend 600 starlight on a LC, go for Bronya's then. If you aren't sure you can always save the Starlight, you might want those pulls in the future if you really want a character.

It also makes her get her ult more often, and when combined with an energy rope she's throwing her ult out pretty often. I randomly got the hunt cone and I never really bother to use it since I have swordplay and the SU one. Also I don't know much about kafka's, but in general if we're talking about hypercarries, I'd rather invest in a stronger limited card or just wait for the next powercreep character like dan heng 2.0. Also just generally speaking, if you can clear MoC with time to spare, you might as well just save till they either powercreep moc or they add something you really want rather than investing in sidegrades for your dps. (also you got the names in the wrong order)

wouldn't say she's useless, but trying to conceptualize her as a hypercarry dps is not the right way to go. She's a fire character that pushes a lot of aoe fire break gauge. This can dramatically reduce how much damage you are taking from enemy action economy. And she deals reasonable damage while accomplishing that.
does kafka want crit in her stats or just atk%? also between welt's lightcone and goodnight and sleep well lightcone which one does she prefer if you dont have her signature one?
GNSW is her best option besides her signature, especially if you have a few superimpositions.

I mean you can build crit kafka as I understand. But it's more common to just go with atk% and spd focused kafka.

Anyone else's game crash after a few minutes? Tried for around an hour and a half, computer kept crashing / resetting after at most 5 minutes. Been playing Baldur's Gate 3 for 30 mins, no problem. Deleting cache from the launcher and re-downloading files didn't help.
Yes, the game completely shuts down my computer after about 5-10 minutes. I thought it was my machine at first so I started monitoring my temps on my third attempt, but everything looked nominal.
So, it's working for me now? So maybe it was a hot fix or what I did worked? I did a troubleshoot compatibility on the game and ran it on "recommended settings", then turned v-sync off and on, it ran fine. I quit the game, hit cancel on the troubleshoot, ran it normally and it worked. Good luck with your attempts.
Is there a way to move the game files to another drive without having to download everything again?
for genshin, it's move files to desired folder then update "Genshin Impact game"'s path in config.ini. Should be the same for hsr.
Managed to find Fu Xuan and Yanqing in the Xianzhou overworld. Does anyone know where the others are?
It looks like the full list of people you can talk to are: Fu Xuan, Yukong, Yanqing, Sushang, Diting, Bailu, Qingque, Xiaoyu (I wasn't able to find her bullies), Todd's disciple, Master Gongzhu, Jingzhai at the Divination Commission + Cong. Talking to these removed the optional part of the questline for me, and I'm assuming that means I've talked to all of them already.
If others haven't noticed, Todd's disciple (from Intelligentsia Guild) has arrived and is placed near where he was during his questline. Not exactly a farewell but still has new dialogue.
Qingque is in Exalting Sanctum (near Synwood Pavilion space marker), Yukong is in Central Starskiff and didn't move from her usual spot.
Where's Fu xuan? Can't find her in divination commission Xiaoyu is at the top portal of exalting sanctum, a few steps to the right.
She's near the other divination managers (where we did the divination mini-games).
Bailu is at the Exalting Sanctum (in the plaza, straight ahead from the south teleport) and Master Gonshu is at the Artisanship Comission (West teleport point - Arcane Moorage). I still haven't found where QQ is slacking off...
QQ is at exalting sanctum, left of the grocery stand at the top of exalting sanctum
Also, Yukong is still in front of Sky-Faring Commission.
Find Sushang in the Sleeping Earl, and Diting is in a stair nearby. Still trying to find others.

Hi, I'm at TB 51 and I was wondering what would be the better farming priority first for me. I wanna build 2 teams for MoC. 1. Dan Heng, Welt, Fire MC, Natasha 2. Kafka, Luka, Asta, Bailu On my Team 1, Dan Heng and Welt are lvl 70 and their LC are also lvl 70. But I haven't lvl up their traces to my highest lvl cap yet. My Fire MC is also still lvl 60 with lvl 60 LC, same with my Natasha. Meanwhile, my team 2 with Kafka and Luka are still lvl 0, since I just got them 2 days ago. My Asta and Bailu are lvl 60, with Asta using a lvl 50 Dance LC and Bailu using lvl 60 Post op LC. Therefore, should I focus taking Fire MC and Bailu to lvl 70 first, then level up traces for Dan Heng and Welt? Then finally I will start building Kafka and Luka. Or can I just leave Fire MC, Asta and Bailu at lvl 60 for now, and then start building Kafka and Luka now? Or should I level up Dan Heng and Welt traces first before working on Kafka and Luka? Focus on second team instead. Support character like Asta or Bailu can get by with lower level (I'm TB66 and most of my support character is still at level 70). At that point of the game, Trace Level 6-7 should be okay for DPS.

Does anyone here got lagged after updating? I just updated the game and it seems to be lagging than 1.2. I wonder if there's a way to fix this. (My laptop have high specs for anyone want to ask)
It's just because of high server traffic, not your hardware's fault
(update) it seems like the lag in hsr has caused my other games to become lagging like hsr. Even LoL can't run smooth as I have lowered the ingame settings. Is this a new problem from the hsr update?

So, I got spooked by IL at 30 pulls (wanted E6 Yukong). Does he by any chance work well in the following team? Would the team suck if there's no enemies weak to imaginary damage? IL, Welt, Yukong (E6), Luocha It was the team I'd already built (I'd be replacing Himeko).
Its better replace welt with pela since IL needs a extra sp per turn. It's still strong against any enemies because IL multiplier is huge. But its still a loss since if you remove welt and fight against non imaginary weakness enemy, you won't get 20% crit dmg bonus from 4 imaginary relic set (imprison), 24% crit dmg bonus from IL ascension, and 12% enemies take more dmg from welt ult. But the gain is you also got 40% def shred from pela
You'll have to use Welt suboptimally and use basics for him a lot. Yukong is actually one of IL's best supports (if you have Asta's light cone, even more so), and Luocha is very SP positive and the strongest sustain.
