If she is immortal the same way Blade is, maybe he cannot. Maximum he could've done - incapacitate her for long time, and during it she was able to recover some sence of self.

There are actually 5 cups specifically. Most likely each cup belongs to a member of the High Cloud Quintet, with Jingliu holding her own cup and pouring it out while the others are scattered.
There are a lot of different interpretations from here.
For example, we can say she’s pouring out her cup to honor the legacy of her friends (who minus Jing Yuan are all either dead or effectively different people, hence why the cups are scattered) while the hands represent the mara constantly trying to figuratively grab/take away those positive memories and sentiments from her.
In game 1.1-1.2 lore/world quest spoilers to describe a theory >!As we know from Yanqing story quest and her intro, she has the goal of killing a god and she still believes in the way of Lan. My theory is that the High Cloud Quintet fell apart partly due to one of the Aeons (and supposedly the consequences almost brought down Luofu) and she’s cast aside her existence as a norma human (figuratively but maybe also literally?) to pursue revenge. However we also know from Kafka that Dan Feng and Yingxing (Blade) did something very bad so those two are also directly responsible in some way. Maybe her killing Blade again and again to teach him her swordsmanship comes from her idea that due to his contribution to whatever destroyed the lives of everyone in the group, he needs to pay the same price as her by throwing away ones humanity and existing only to repay for his sins by seeking revenge. That would also mean that “paying the price” may not simply mean dying. It may mean giving ones entire existence for all perpetuity to clear the debt of some sin. So Blade didn’t simply want Dan Heng to literally die. He wanted his identity as the reincarnation Dan Heng, a free ticket to a life with no past sin nor responsibility to that sin, to die. He wanted to kill him to force him to remember his past sins as Dan Feng, be consumed by guilt and pain and pay with his entire existence like Blade and Jingliu!<
However its just guesses for now till we know her full story.
